After blowing his entrance exam, Taehyung left to his house where it was empty. His parents off to the church or whatever, he didn't exactly care to know. What he did care about though? Leaving this hell hole. Not sure where he was going to go or what he was going to do but he didn't do his entrance exam which meant he was going to be kicked out either way so he packed the moment he entered his room. Only taking the important things he would need and some clothes. Even had to bust the piggy bank that held his college funds, won't be needing the money for that anymore.

Then after he finished packing, he left a note for his dad and that was it. This was reality and he chose this for himself. It worked for Jungkook... leaving his household and all so Taehyung figured, why not do the same? Start new... just like Jungkook has been doing. Speaking of Jungkook, did Taehyung ever hear from him? No. Even when Taehyung tried calling over and over again. Eventually, Taehyung just felt stupid trying to call Jungkook who had no interest in picking up, clearly and so he blocked Jungkook's number and moved on.

Or well, he's trying to move on from it. Actually, Taehyung has been trying to move forward with everything. Although his mother didn't completely freak out on him, he still felt unwelcomed and he now knew that certain look Jungkook talked about because the face his mother made lingered in his head every single day but seeing his dad smile at him still made him hurt a little bit knowing he was leaving his father. Although his father didn't say anything to Taehyung, his smiles were enough for Taehyung to know that his dad didn't hate him.

With no idea of how this was going to go, Taehyung stepped out of his house and shrugged his shoulders back with a gulp. Was it scary? not knowing what the future held for him?... Yeah. Though he wanted to do this for himself. He always wanted out of this household and now he's doing it. Brushing his hair back, Taehyung didn't bother looking back as he started to walk away from the house. His bus ticket in his hands as he kept walking. This was his new start and as much as he wanted everything to go back to how it was, that was long gone.

So Taehyung walked and walked until he finally came to a stop at the bus stop. When the bus did arrive that's when Taehyung looked back. This was supposed to be home. This was supposed to be his safe place and it was... for a while. "You coming?!" Yelled the bus driver. Breaking Taehyung out of his thoughts, he nodded quickly and got onto the bus. Using his ticket as he then went pick a seat in the crowded bus. "Right here." Taehyung heard a voice as he was eyeing around for a seat.

Then Taehyung saw the familiar face which made him feel slightly better about what was happening. At least he saw someone familiar. Someone who wouldn't treat him differently he hoped. ".. Sungjae, hey." Taehyung shot a forced smile as he sat down next to Sungjae who was moving his things around for space. "Didn't expect to see you here of all places." Sungjae looked at Taehyung who put his bag on his lap. A shrug came from Taehyung. "Didn't expect to see you here either. Where are you heading?" Taehyung asked since he saw the bags Sungjae was trying to make fit.

"Ilsan. I'm going to Dongguk university." Sungjae said proudly which made Taehyung smile. "Oh really? Wow, that's amazing. Is this where the bus is going?" Nibbling his lip, Taehyung looked forward as Sungjae nodded. "A few stops going there but yeah... Did you not know that?" Sungjae had his eyebrows knitted together out of confusion. "Well... honestly I just got on the first bus that came." Taehyung scoffed at himself. Should've thought this through huh?

"Oh.. well... where are you going?" Sungjae finally asked since it seemed appropriate to ask now. "From what it seems, Ilsan." Taehyung forced a chuckle which made Sungjae smile and shake his head. "Oh yeah? And for what?" the question made Taehyung think about all the things he could do but he had limited money so he shrugged once again. "Start a new life." Is all Taehyung answered which had Sungjae quiet for a bit which Taehyung understood.

"... Jungkook didn't work out?" Sungjae asked as he gulped since he didn't know if he should've asked but at the same time, he was really into Taehyung before Jungkook came along so it was worth a shot. Though the question made Taehyung sad. "... Yeah. We didn't work out," Taehyung said quietly. "I'm sorry," Sungjae responded as he then ruffled up Taehyung's hair. "But if you need any help while out in Ilsan, hit me up okay? You still have my number right?"

"Yeah, I think I do. Thanks." Taehyung was gonna leave it at that but the more he thought about it... he didn't have anyone in Ilsan and he didn't know what he was going to do when he got there. There was someone he knew very well offering help and even though he didn't want to be a bother- "Actually... If you have extra space for me to sleep, you would be helping me not sleep on the streets." Taehyung looked at Sungjae who opened his mouth but closed it to think for a bit. Didn't take long before he nodded though. "Couldn't let you sleep on the streets. I can make something work."

With a smile, Taehyung nodded and thanked Sungjae who nodded. Now that he had a place to stay Taehyung felt pretty good about what was going to happen. Again, he wasn't sure but it felt like this was the right thing to do. Jumping onto the first bus he saw was a good decision, it felt like it anyway. "Here. My mom made this for me for the ride." Sungjae pulled out homemade food that was still hot but the sight made Taehyung want to drool. It's been forever since he had a hot meal. Actually- it's been quite some while since he had a meal. Eating slices of bread every now and then was his breakfast, lunch, and supper.

"She would want me to share with you," Sungjae assured Taehyung who took the chopsticks hesitantly. "Otherwise if I took a bite without offering she would slap the back of my head." He rolled his eyes then hissed just from the memory. "Respectfully, I would too." Taehyung joked which made Sungjae laugh a bit and take some meat from the container. There the two ate together sharing jokes every now and then and honestly Taehyung felt so much better.

So this was the start of his new beginning huh? With Sungjae?... well, it wasn't a bad of a start honestly. This all felt like a dream though, for Taehyung. It all happened so quickly and he just felt like nothing was real, like he wasn't real and it was trippy but talking to Sungjae reminded him that this was real life... just not the life he used to live and that was alright. After finishing up the food, Taehyung got comfortable and before he knew it he fell asleep just like that. Must've been the lack of sleep he was having but the meal for sure knocked him out after that.

Then when he did wake up they were in Ilsan. "Welcome to your new home Tae." Sungjae stepped out of the bus and Taehyung looked at Sungjae as he stood on the stairs. Hesitant to get off but with a little bit of a push from his inner self, Taehyung stepped off the bus. "... Welcome to our new home." Taehyung forced a smile as Sungjae smiled and nudged Taehyung. "We're going to love it here. I just know it." Sungjae huffed and collected his things. Those words... Taehyung hoped Sungjae's words were right. He really hoped he would love it there.
