I was pretty tired so I just slept through the rest of the day. Izuku really helped me take my mind off of the fact that one day, they'll find out the truth about me. I woke up and watched the city beneath me.
I had returned home, it all felt surreal. This whole time I've been so close, yet so far away. As much as I wanted to meet my friends and family again, now that I know everything, I just couldn't. The guilt is eating me up alive.
Speaking of family, where the hell is Anna? Yeah I'm still mad at her but she's still my sister. These last 5 years is what I've become. I may remember, but it doesn't change the fact that Zella Mikio is gone. There is only Katana now.
Another thing I'll have to break to them one day...
But that day is not today.
I stood up and went to my bathroom. A nurse had put out fresh clothes for me as I hopped in the shower and cleaned myself from head to toe.
While I put the sweatshirt on, I heard someone knock on the door. I thought it was a detective or a nurse or maybe even Izuku.
"Come in!"
But as I turned around, my eyes were met by beautiful heterochromia ones. He didn't say anything, just analysed me. A single tear escaped my face and I stepped closer to him. He did the same.
"Zella..."
I jumped right into his arms and I felt his whole body relax. He was all bandaged up for some reason, and had cuts all over his face and neck. But he didn't seem to care as he squeezed me even tighter.
I can't believe she's in my arms again. Her beautiful eyes, cute freckled face and white hair... right here.
It's unbelievable.

I pulled away from the hug and came face to face with her. I stroked her soft hair and put a strand behind her ear, staring into her glossy eyes.
I got lost in them 5 years ago and I still do now.
I opened my mouth to say something, but more tears threatened to run down my cheeks when I did so. I couldn't get a word out, cause no words can describe the way I'm feeling right now. There is only her.
"Shoto..."
God, the way she says my name. For the past 5 years, I've only heard her voice in my dreams. But now, she was in front of me. With me, again.
"I... I'm sorry, Mikio. I should've-"
She hugged me closely again and stroked my back.
"No... it's not your fault. That day, I would've gotten kidnapped either way..."
I pulled away and she put both her hands on my face, wiping away my tears. I was grateful for her reassuring me but... she's wrong. I should've saved her. I promised her...
"Don't cry... I'm not going anywhere." she said as her own tears ran down her cheeks.
I put a hand over hers while she stroked my face soothingly with her thumb. I found myself lost in her ocean eyes once again, staring into them deeply.
She better not, cause I'm not losing her again.
I put my other hand on her face and pulled her into a passionate kiss. Right now, in this moment, I didn't care about anything or anyone else.
She returned the kiss as I moved my hand from her face to her neck and deepened it, her tears mixing with mine. The kiss calmed us both down and I pulled away from her after a while, still holding her hand. She gave me slight smile and I couldn't help but smile too.

She was home. My love, was home.

Katana found herself alone in her hospital room again. Todoroki briefly explained that he had run into some trouble and was hospitalised and just happened to overhear Aizawa and Midoriya talking about her.
So he couldn't help but investigate, and boy was he glad he did that.
After their little reunion, he left. He couldn't be in there for too long or else the nurses would come looking for him. But it brought comfort to both of them to see each other again, given their history.
A nurse came into the room with a tray with brunch.
"How are you feeling ms Mikio?"
"I'm alright, thank you."
She put the tray down on the small table by the bed. Before she went out the door, the white haired girl spoke up.
"Hey, uhm. When am I allowed to go out?"
"Oh, I don't know anything about that. You'll have to ask-"
She was interrupted by the sound of the door opening. In walked Aizawa, but right behind him was a certain mouse man. He looked like he could cry when he saw the blue eyed girl sitting on her bed eating.
"Principal Nezu..."
She stood up and bent down slightly. He took his hands in hers and looked at her, you could tell his anxiety was creeping up on him.
"I'm sorry... I failed you. Words cannot describe how happy and relieved I am that you're here again."
"It's okay, sir. It wasn't your fault."
He smiled slightly and let go of her hands. He looked back at Aizawa before speaking.
"Though it is nice to see you again Zella, it wasn't the only reason to why I'm here. You better sit down for this..."
She sat down on the bed and listened closely to what he had to say.
"A lot of heroes and police either saw or heard you the other night... some of them were your old friends. Now, everyone is waiting for answers and the press is killing us with questions about you. Even though they don't know it was you, they know your case got reopened once again..."
Katana was about to say something but he put a hand up to stop her.
"I'm not asking you to go out to the world again, but the anniversary of your death is coming up. It would help a lot if you would allow us to tell the country that you're alive... or maybe you could do it yourself?"
"I... I want to see my mom and brother."
Nezu and Aizawa looked to each other and sighed.
"Of course. But just think about it..."
Katana nodded and gave them a slight smile. She continued to eat her food as she watched them leave the room.

About a week had gone by and Katana hadn't been let out of her hospital room. She couldn't blame them, they needed to run a lot of tests on her since she had been gone. She also needed to do whatever they say since she didn't want to sound suspicious.
Cause truth was, even after she's talked to everyone again, she wants to go back home with Anna. Her home up there in the mountains. Where she lived in a gigantic place, almost as big as a palace. There were staples where she would ride every day and the gym where she and Anna would spar. That was her life now...
Mrs Mikio and Kai had been visiting her a lot, just talking and spending time together. Especially since tomorrow was the day she died.
She loves that she can talk to them as their daughter and sister, but still. It wasn't the same.

Gamble
My name is Vak Tychus. Aside from the, regrettably striking name, there were very few things I'd judge, that made me - me. The name had to do with chance or fate. My last name was Latin, derived from the Latinized name Eutychus which was the combination of two Greek words corresponding to "good" and "luck, chance, and fortune." Now that you know why I'm so unhealthily and exceedingly prone to gambling I can begin to teach you why exactly I love it so much. There's a handful of things you'd have to know to really appreciate how to gamble. You'd be surprised at how much you can learn in two decades supposing you stuck with it your entire life. Although, there are some stark differences between betting a handful of cash and your life against monstrous creatures intent on your blood. Well, you learn a thing or two, if you can believe it. Here, in fact, we can start with the first one: Taking a risk. Try it now and start reading.
