《KATANA ~ a MHA fanfic》Chapter 32 - Karma is a bitch

Katana jumped down and found her sister fighting off a villain above the dead bodies of several others. Even injured, Anna was still incredibly strong and a few villains weren't gonna stop her.
"I see you don't need my help." Katana said and smirked.
"You look like you've fought quite the team yourself, thought It'd be nice and fight for myself tonight." the green eyed girl laughed with her sister before walking to the direction they think their father is together.
Just as they were about to turn around the corner, Katana stopped them.
"Wait... look to the ground."
"That's a lot of blood... we can only hope it's from dads victims. Let's go."
The two walked with swords in their hands, ready to fight anyone in their way. But instead of seeing their father killing his prey, he was in the hands of Tomura Shigaraki. Like he was waiting for the sisters to show up.
"Ah, just in time girls. Your father here was about to face the consequences of his actions. But maybe he should tell them to you first before I kill him."
"Let go of him you sick son of a bitch!" Anna went ahead to slice him, but around 5 strong villains, including the nightmare villain, stood in front of them with weapons and quirks ready.
She backed away and let the man talk.
"As I was saying, don't you have anything to say to them, Akito?"
"Girls... know that no matter what happens, I love you both so so much..."
A single tear escaped their faces as they watched their father struggle. Never had he been a victim like this, the sight terrified them since he was supposed to be the best assassin there is.
"That's not what you're supposed to be telling them..." Shigaraki tightened the grip on his throat.

"Okay, okay fine!" Shigaraki let go of this tight grip so that he could breathe. He sighed before looking at his daughters that waited for him to speak.
"Almost 5 years ago... Anna and I went on a very dangerous mission. I don't want to go into details but it ended badly. Anastasia, you... died."
"I WHAT?"
"You were the only thing that kept me sane... the only reason I could call myself a human being."
The girls were speechless and looked at their struggling father.
"I was desperate. I wanted to do anything if it meant that it would bring you back... So, on a mission to kill the members of the league of villains, I wanted to find out more about what they were doing."
He looked Katana to her eyes.
"And that's when I found out that they had kidnapped a girl with this amazing quirk. A quirk that could potentially save my daughter..."
Katana looked down to the ground, not wanting to show any weakness.
"And I... eventually worked together with one... two, of the villains and stole that quirk and erased her memory with it afterwards. Then, I left her to go save Anastasia."
"Y-you... stole her quirk?" Anna asked in a shaky voice.
"Yes... but it did save you. Then, the same day, you went out to get some air and found her there. It almost felt like karma when you showed up with her..."
The sisters, especially Katana, couldn't get a single word out. A million thoughts racing through their heads.
"I had done my research on her of course, and she had a great spirit. A fantastic fighter too, so I let her stay with us. Gave her a new name and home. But a part of me felt guilty about removing her memory, even though I only meant to zap away the last few minutes..."

"You lying, sick bastard! YOU TOOK my whole life from me and now you're expecting us to feel sympathy for you because you feel 'guilty'?"
Katana held her swords to her sides and walked angrily towards them. But of course, the villains were ready for her. She backed down, threw the swords to the ground and let out a loud groan of frustration.
"But I did it to save Anastasia! Aren't you happy that I saved her? You two never would've met if I didn't do what I did!"
"SHUT. UP." Anna suddenly spoke up, angry tears running down her cheeks.
"Either you should've zapped her memories back or you never should've taken her quirk in the first place."
"But then you would've-"
"I KNOW! But... you took that poor girls life away, in return for mine. She had a home, right in this city! People loved her and even though I hate heroes, she would've been a spectacular one."
Katana rushed to her sisters side and gave her a hug, whispering in her ear to calm down.
"You don't have to feel guilty about it... Even though it's fucked up... how he handled the whole thing, at least I got a sister..."
It worked to calm her down and she took Katanas hand in hers, letting her do the talking now since she was busy fighting the even more tears that threatened to escape her eyes.
"Sorry folks, looks like the ceremony's getting cut short because of an emergency. But we'll see you next year! Until then..."
The team of heroes gathered with the rest and a few detectives to listen up about why they all were suddenly called.
"We have a position on the league of villains. We need to move fast so feel free to use your quirks in any way that can get us there as fast as possible. Move it." the captain spoke and the team was ready for the league to be taken down.
As they arrived to the street where the league was supposed to be, the captain spoke in their earpieces and told them to hide and wait for the right time as it seemed like there was something going on down there with people they didn't recognise.
"Earphone jack, imma need you to listen to what they're saying and report back to us through the earpiece since we can't see."
She went ahead and put her earphone jacks to the ground and listened to what was going down.
"And that's when I found out that they had kidnapped a girl with this amazing quirk. A quirk that could potentially save my daughter..."
Jirou swallowed hard on that last part. She knew what it was, but also didn't.
Every single hero and detective listened closely to what Earphone jack was reporting to them, only to be completely stunned when they heard what she said next.

"You don't get to feel better because of how you 'gave me a new home' or 'gave me a new name'. You knew that I was Zella Mikio all along when I didn't. You didn't do anything, instead you used me to become your little assassination weapon."
"Mikio." every single hero and detective thought as they listened in suspense to what their coworker reported back.
A single tear escaped Jirous eyes as she realised what was going on down there, at least to some extent.
Katana squeezed her sisters hand before walking up towards the villains.
"Guys, I think it's about to go down. You better move in now." Earphone jack said and in less than 10 seconds, the villains and assassins were surrounded by the countries top pro heroes and police.
"Freeze! Hands where we can see them."

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
