《《BFF》|| taekook ✔️》Chapter 55

Nowadays, training was a very unfamiliar experience for Jungkook.
The other boys on the team kept watching him with frowns on their faces on the field, in the changing rooms, they tried to change their clothes as far away from him as possible and in the showers, they basically avoided him like the plague.
Jungkook found it pathetic.
It wasn't like any of them were his type, anyways.
And it seemed like everyone had forgotten he actually had a boyfriend and no interest in any human other than him whatsoever.
It actually made him quite anxious, sometimes his ears seemed to catch the words "Kim Taehyung" out of all the hushed whispers and the bare thought of someone insulting his love made his blood boil. But of course he couldn't risk doing anything, so he repressed the urge of charging at every single person that dared to look at him in a disapproving way. Which would be a lot, by the way.
The only person sticking with him was Jung Hoseok. He had definetely needed some time to get used and come to terms with him, but nevertheless, he was a pretty good friend and supportive about his relationship and orientation.
He also never failed to shut mean people on Taehyung's and Jungkook's social media down, though mostly from an anonymous account.
The ravenette was really grateful for him, everyone looking at him with dirty glares definetely messed with him mentally. At first, he was scared of getting kicked out of the team but luckily, that did not happen. Yet.
Currently, he was stepping out of the shower cubicles, a towel wrapped firmly around his waist and his whole upper body glistening with leftover water, small droplets running down his chest every once in a while.
He took a deep breath out of satisfaction, barely anyone was there anymore. Which had definetely been his intention since he definetely wasn't in the mood to deal with everyone treating him like some sort of walking infection that was going to attack them any minute.
They were usually so keen on being tough, fearless and strong men but then, they were afraid of facing him in the shower? Nothing but laughable and most definetely not manly, in Jungkook's opinion.
He quickly removed the towel and slid on some underwear and joggers, running back into the changing room since he had forgotten his brush. And his shirt. And his damn hair dryer.
Arriving back in the changing room, he was surprised to see Chris in there aswell, his hair damp and his phone in his hand, though he was not looking at it, he was looking at Jungkook.
Said boy got his needed things and sent the other boy a sharp glare of disgust.

If looks could kill, Chris would be... He didn't even know.
As the raven-haired boy was about to hit the shower room again, he heard a voice calling him back:
"Wait please, Jungkook." Surprised, he halted in his step.
"What?," he snapped, definetely not in the mood for talking.
Chris stood up from the bench he was sitting on, approaching Jungkook with a nervous look on his face.
He opened his mouth, about to say something. The ravenette crossed his arms in front of his chest, looking effortlessly intimidating, Chris visibly gulping at that.
"Are you going to talk? I'm not waiting all fucking day."
"I-I'm sorry, okay?" Jungkook narrowed his eyes and clicked his tongue, looking at him in a testing manner.
"Sorry for what, huh?"
Chris lowered his head, his damp, brown hair being the only thing in sight now.
"For everything Jackson did."
The ravenette scoffed, kicking his foot and making him flinch.
"You're not innocent. You helped him, stood by his side and planned everything along with him. You're his friend, which makes you just as guilty as him. I'm not the one you should be apologizing to, by the way. Apologize to my boyfriend instead," he hissed.
Chris looked really hurt. Desperate, even.
"I don't want to be his friend," he spoke, his voice thin as paper. His gaze was still directed downwards, it seemed as if he was looking at Jungkook's bare upper body.
"I'm not like him, I didn't want to do any of this, this is not me. Not at all."
The other boy cocked his head sideways, not looking impressed in the slightest.
"Yet you did. You are his friend, whether you like it or not. And if you don't fight back and stop your disgusting excuse of a friend, you're a coward. Just like him." His voice was low and cold, colder than ice. It made the brunette shudder, and it made him nervous.
"Y-You think this is easy? Dealing with all the peer pressure? Fighting back? Hell no, I can't fight back. They would hate me, make fun about me, spread rumors about me, hit me... I just can't!" This had been the first time Chris had raised his voice today, his hands balled into fists and frustration written everywhere on his face.
"You think exposing our relationship to the whole school not even a month after it started was easy? To top it off, your dear friend was the one who threatened us in the first place, we didn't have a damn choice. I understand why you can't stand up to them but don't expect us to stand up for you either, then." Jungkook was about to leave when he felt the other grab his arm to hold him in place.

"The fuck you still want?!" He glared aggressively, the other's lower lip trembling.
"W-Would you like me if I stood up to him?"
"Why do you want me to like you? We aren't friends and we never were, does it even matter?" He analyzed Chris' face for any signs of lies or insincerity on his face and was shocked to not find anything but pure desperation in them.
"I like you, Jungkook. More than I'm supposed to."
The ravenette let out a humourless laugh.
"Too fucking bad, because I don't like you. Never did, to be honest. You always reminded me of some lost puppy following around its owner and let me tell you, that's some real ass cowardice. And I don't like cowards," he snarled, about to take off again but being held back again.
"What the fuck do you want now?," he exclaimed angrily, definetely fed up with his persistent teammate.
For a while, the brunette didn't respond.
"I'm not a coward. I can prove it to you," he then said, the other rolling his eyes at that.
"Yeah, yeah. Sure. You know what? Cut the crap and just leave me alone, 'kay?"
"No. I'm really sorry for what I'm about to do. But I don't think I can control myself any longer. I've been waiting for this so long. And just like I said, I'm not a coward," he whispered, causing Jungkook to furrow his eyebrows confusedly. He was about to ask what the actuall hell he was saying right now but got cut off in that exact moment.
Did he plan on killing him? Ramming a pocket knife into his chest and escaping? Or beating him um? Spitting on him? Throwing a bucket of water over his head?
How damn wrong he was.
All of a sudden, Jungkook felt something on his lips. Someone was kissing him!
Not someone, Chris! Jackson's best buddy! His most reliable minion! Someone he usually didn't even spare a glance towards...
The ravenette was so in shock, he didn't even know what to do or how to react. Of course, his first instinct was to break the kiss and push him the hell off but Chris' arms were wrapped so tightly around his body that he felt like he was tied up.
This wasn't right. How could this happen? This must be a dream, a nightmare.
Except that it wasn't.
He kept fighting, trying to gain his strength back but some parts of him still seemed to be in shock, literally paralyzed.
For the first time in a very long time, he felt weak. Helpless.
He then felt the brunette run his hands over his biceps and squeeze them hard, his teeth gritting in discomfort.
He most definetely didn't like it, he felt like throwing up out of disgust. He just wanted it to stop.
Whatever it took.
What the hell was happening? And why couldn't his body fight back?
And in that exact moment, the door flew open and in stormed an excited Taehyung, highly looking forward to talking to his boyfriend and tell him about recent events.
But as his gaze fell on the two boys, his face immediately morphed into one of utter shock and mortification, his whole body freezing.
Chris seemed to be so immersed into the 'kiss', he didn't even notice or care that someone had just entered the room, he continued kissing him on and on while his hands were still pressing Jungkook's arms against his body so he couldn't push him off.
Regardless, he tried to break free as much as possible but completely failed since he was physically unable to do so.
And that's when Taehyung fell out of his daze and screamed:
"Get your disgusting hands off my boyfriend, you bitch!"
