y/n's pov
I saw the two men enter and they were talking.
-We sent the video to him yesterday and he still hasn't answered, we should send him another one.- the man in the suit and tie announced.
-Are you sure he saw the video?- asked the other, passing me a sandwich between the bars, I ate it quickly.
-Yes, he saw it.- he said smiling, then he went to my cell -Get up and come, come on.- he told me, I did as I was told, it was better to listen to him if I didn't want the shock.
They took me to the same room as the day before.
I noticed a small television, which I hadn't noticed yesterday, with a summary of the most important news of the last few days.
-Tony Stark and Pepper Potts' only daughter hasn't been seen for three days. According to some rumors, the sixteen-year-old girl was kidnapped. To reinforce this thesis is the fact that no one has denied it. Nick Fury was seen exiting Avengers Tower a couple of hours ago, along with other S.H.I.E.L.D. We await news in the days to follow.- said the reporter.
It had been three days since I was locked up there and I was beginning to lose hope that they would find me.
"If they informed Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D they must be almost desperate." I thought, remembering how much Dad didn't like working with them.
I saw the man fiddle with the camera for a few seconds, which only meant one thing.
He would record me shocking me, then send him to dad, to urge him to come and rescue me with the others, including Bucky and then brainwash him, this was his plan from what I understood.

-Dear Avengers, I hope the previous video has been to your liking. Not having received any news from you, I thought I would encourage you like this.- he said pointing the video camera at me and giving me the shock.
-Ahhhh!- I complained while putting my hand on my neck, where there was the metal contraption.
-What is Stark? Don't you want to save your little daughter?- He asked jokingly.
-Don't fall...to his...trap...- I tried to speak, but it was really hard -I...I'm fine...keep Bucky...safe...ahhhhh!- I said falling to the ground, kneeling, struggling to breathe.
-Shut up.- he said, kicking me in the stomach and one in the back, I contorted with pain.
Then one of the two armed men grabbed me, to take me back to the cell, and literally threw me on the floor.
I sat down on the mattress and tried to hold back the tears.
"Please, come and save me..." I thought, leaning my head against the wall and closed my eyes.
I rolled up my sleeves and noticed a lot of bruises on both arms, and I was sure I had some on my legs and body as well.
I lay down on the mattress with my back to the cell door.
After I don't know how long, he suddenly heard something and I sat up.
-She is here! I found her.- I heard a voice that I would recognize among a thousand.
Loki.
-Loki...is it really you?- I asked getting up, and I felt my heart pound.
-Yes, we came to save you.- he said as he fought with the guards -I would need a hand here.- he said as more gunmen arrived and then dad and Thor arrived.

-Dad! Thor!- I yelled happily as they knocked out the guards with ease.
-Honey, are you okay?- He asked, trying to open the door, but failing.
-Now you're here, yes.- I said, smiling at him.
-Stay back I throw the door down.- I did as he told me, I covered my ears with my hands and closed my eyes, after hearing the bang I came out of the cell and hugged them.
-Did you find the man in the suit and tie and the one with the smock?- I asked.
-Yes, they've already caught them.- Loki smiled at me.
-Now let's go away.- Dad said, we were about to go out but we heard two shots and then a shooting pain in my leg and one in my shoulder.
-Ahhh.- I was about to fall to the ground when Loki caught me.
-Hey, hey...- he said holding me up, I looked down and saw the jeans turn a scarlet red.
-More people are coming and they are armed.- Thor warned us.
-Loki, listen to me carefully, I entrust her to you, take her and teleport to the tower, take her to Bruce, he will know how to cure her.- said dad.
-And you?- I asked, holding my shoulder.
-We'll be fine, see you later. Go now.- he said.
Loki closed his eyes and I followed suit, when I opened my eyes I was at the tower.
-Bruce! Bruce!- Loki yelled, seeing that I was going to faint.
-Ah, you're ba...what the hell happened?!- Bruce asked, seeing me, followed by Bucky.
-Two shots.- Loki explained, helping me to sit on the sofa, and at that moment Mom entered.
-What is all this mess? Honey, what happened?- She asked scared.
-Quiet Pepper, it's only two bullets, she'll be fine.- Bruce reassured her.
-Steve and the others?- Bucky asked.
-They were getting away with it.- Loki replied.
-Here I will not be able to extract the bullets, Loki, can you take her to the laboratory?- Bruce asked, examining the leg and shoulder.
-Yes, no problem.- Loki leaned over me and kindly took me as a bride and we went to the laboratory.
-Will everything be okay?- Mom asked, following us.
-Yes, I've seen worse. A couple of days of rest and good meals, she'll get back on her feet.- He reassured her.
-Please, Bruce...hurry up, it really hurt...- I said, trying to regulate my breathing.
-Ok, don't worry. Pepper help me to take off her sweatshirt, so I can remove the bullet.- Bruce turned to mom.
Suddenly I felt my head spin and my lids heavy.
-I don't feel so...- I didn't have time to finish the sentence that my eyes closed.

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!

The Legend of Ghost
This is a quick novella origin story to one of fan-favorite characters in the ZERO universe, Sam Dobbs, a.k.a. Slade Gardner, a.k.a. the Ghost. I wrote it for current ZERO series fans, after many insistent, fervent, teary-eyed demands. Still, I think it pretty much works as a stand-alone, so I'll post it here. (He gets the name Ghost later, not as part of this story...this is just the why he decided to do what he did, being slightly insane and all.) Lots of easter eggs for current fans. 15k words total, chapters will be approx. 2.5k each. Oh, and if you get turned off by crazy, hyperintelligent antisocials being crazy, hyperintelligent antisocials, this isn't the story for you. ;)
