Days later, the Queen Mother of France has arrived at the Scottish Court. As she was briefly told by men sent by Alexandra, she began the hunt for the suspects in the assault of her dearest granddaughter as soon as she had arrived.

"My men are on the hunt. Don't you worry, my darling." Catherine said, and I nodded in response.

"I'm assuming that the man you've captured is already dead. Is he? " She asked

"No." My grandmother was taken aback by what I said.

"Alexandra wants to let him die slowly." The queen said. "He has been tortured and squeezed out of any information he can give to us. " Mary explained

"Hmm. Great, I would want to do it that way." She smirked and said, "Indeed, a Valois."

Uncle James was seen rushing towards the throne room and a palace guard announced his arrival, "Lord James, Earl of Morey, has arrived, your majesty".

"What do you have for us, James?" The queen asked.

"John Knox was seen talking to English Protestants and giving them gold." He said. "We have no leads yet on why he was talking to them or giving them gold, but we have to be cautious." He added

"Uncle James, would you do anything for the crown?" I asked.

They all looked at me with concern and confusion.

"Yes, Alexandra." He said it firmly and with conviction. "May I ask why?" he added.

"I want you to seduce his wife, Emily Knox." I said. Everyone seemed astonished by my idea. "In this way, we can get information easily through her." I added.

"Is that an order, Alexandra?" Queen Mary asked. "It is." I said.

"Well, as ordered by the Princess of Scots, you know what to do. Good luck, brother." Mary said.

"What's your plan, my love?" Marco asked.

"I have already stated my plan. I just wanted to see if we could get information from the wife." I said. "She's young. My good-looking uncle can do something about it." I smiled at him.

"I'm here to support you, my love." He said and added, "But please be careful with your plans. You're already involving your uncle in this mess."

I said, "Everyone is involved, and it was his choice to be loyal to the crown; thus, he must do his best. " He sighed, and I said, as I patted his shoulder, "I'm sorry, my love. I have to do something to end this as it has been haunting me for years and I don't want this to happen again to others or another attempt to ruin me. Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. "

He smiled, "I'm here to protect you, my queen."

It was already nightfall when the Earl of Morey came back from doing the task given to him by the Princess of Scots. He joined the dinner with their family in the banquet hall and reported some news.

"Well, I guess you are right, Alex." He said, and I asked why. "You are right when you said that we can get information from Emily Knox." He added

"How was it?" Catherine asked.

"With his charming looks, she surely was deceived and fell straight into his hands." I smirked.

"Oh, thank you for thinking that I am good-looking, my dear niece." He laughed. "Kidding aside, yes, I charmed her. I took her for a walk and got into a deep conversation, "he said.

"What did you get?" Mary asked.

"Just simple details for now." He answered.

"You'll get more in the long run." I said

"She is kind of needy. She is in need of touch and romance in her life. By giving her what she wants, maybe she'll give in to me and trust me. " James said

"And then slowly get information from her." Catherine added

"Do you think it'll be easy for this to be done?" Marco asked

"I do think it is because she's gullible." James answered

"My men said that a few ladies were mocking her copulation and romance with her husband. So I believe he has been disregarding her desires and that makes her want it from someone else, which is you, James. " Mary said

We agreed with the Queen's statement.
