Some of the attackers went inside the tavern where the ladies and the Queen were hiding.

"She's here"

A man said

The men went looking for the Queen by kicking and throwing the tables and chairs aside.

When a man was standing near their hiding spot, Alexandra took something and smashed it on his head. She was able to take the man down and grabbed his sword and knife.

"Stay here"

Alex said to her ladies

"Alex, please be careful"

Ana said

She nodded

Alexandra, who was trained using these weapons when she was young, used her skills to attack them until she was only facing the last man inside the tavern.

All of a sudden, more men went in and ready to fight her.

I can't do this alone

God, please help me

She was about to give up when she realized that they were still outnumbered.

Good thing that Marco and their men arrived that helped them inside the tavern but while in commotion, little didn't they know, a big man took Alexandra as a hostage.

"ALEX!"

The ladies said in chorus

Marco came inside with Marcus looking at Alex who is now held as hostage.

It was only the man again who's remaining. Last one standing among the attackers. His knife was pointing on her neck, ready to slit her.

"One move, she will die"

The man said

"Please, don't"

Marco pleaded

"Alex, you'll be fine"

Marcus assured her

Alexandra was trying not to panic so she could think of a way to get away from his hands.

Again, with her skills, she tried to reach slowly to her back pocket where she hid the knife she got earlier. She then made cuts on the attackers arm that made the man let go of her and his knife.

She smirked

Gotcha

"Oh my!"

"Alex!"

They ran towards her and moved her away from the attacker

"My love, I'm sorry"

"I'm sorry if we came in late"

Marco said

Alexandra hugged him tight and said,

"No, love"

"You are not at fault"

"I'm alright, don't worry"

"Grab him and take him to the castle's dungeon."

Marcus said

"Thank you, Marcus"

I hugged him

While the attacker is being dragged by her men, she noticed the same mark on the man's clothing which happened to be the same mark of the men who raped her years ago— flashbacks suddenly happened that made her blackout.

"ALEXANDRA!"

Marco caught her

"What's happening to her???"

Marcus asked

"I don't know"

"Let's leave immediately"

Marco carried Alexandra and rushed to the carriage

"Mother... Marco..."

I said

I saw my husband and my mother with me inside my room

"Alex!"

"Finally! You are awake"

Mother said

She sat beside me on my bed and kissed my forehead

"Tell me, are you feeling good already?"

She asked

"I-I do"

"What happened?"

"My love, where's my ladies?"

"Are they fine?"

I asked

"Yes, my love"

"We are just worried about you and the baby"

"You fainted all of a sudden"

He said

"How's the baby?"

"Did I...?"

I was about to cry but then mother said,

"No, my princess"

"Your baby is doing good"

"Breathe in, breathe out"

"Try to feel your baby"

She assured me

I nodded and smiled

"I-I feel my baby"

I smiled

"How are the people in the village?"

I asked

"We have already handled it"

"Your Uncle James went there immediately after everything in town were settled"

Queen Mary said

"Thank God!"

I said

"Alex"

"Is there someone who you could think of that may probably be the mastermind of the attack?"

Queen Mary asked

"I-I don't know"

I answered

Mary looked back at Marco

"As far as I know, mother, there is none"

He answered

"Where is he?"

I asked

"He is already in the dungeon"

"We'll be questioning him after our talk"

Mother said

"I'm coming with you"

I said

"You have to rest"

Mother said

"My love, we can handle it"

Marco assured her

"No, I am well already"

"I'm going with you"

"I want to hear what he'll say"

I insisted

"It came from his mouth that I was the person they were looking for"

"I want to know why"

I added

Mother and Marco looked at each other-- a sign of defeat.

"Okay, we'll let you come with us"

Marco said

"But please rest right away"

Queen Mary said
