While in the carriage, my mother asked me what happened, but I was unable to respond because I couldn't even think straight, which she noticed. She stopped asking me questions and stared at me the whole time. I suddenly felt everything. It seems like it has sunken in already. I wanted to cry, but I didn't want to let it out in front of my mother, knowing she had already cried earlier.

As we arrived at the court, my mother escorted me to my chambers. My mother asked me once again.

"Alexandra"

"What happened to you?"

I couldn't hold back my tears any longer.

"Uhh, I didn't expect anything would happen."

"My carriage stopped, so I-I-I asked the guard, but he didn't respond"

"S-So I checked and... I saw him dead."

"A-A-And then"

"There were people attacking."

"I thought I could get away by riding a horse, but somebody pulled me."

"I tried to escape again, but I fell."

"They got me again and tied my hands a-a-and covered my mouth"

"A-And"

My mother confronted me.

"My child"

"I know it's still hard to think about what happened, but I need to know what they did to you."

"I'm just going to ask you once, Alex."

I sobbed.

"Were you raped?"

I was in an outburst, crying rivers, and ended up sitting in the corner of the room. My mother sat beside me in tears while trying to comfort me. As I was trying to take a breath, she unexpectedly confessed to me something about what she had also experienced before.

"I also got raped."

I was shocked and in tears, but my mother was too brave to tell me her story without any reaction.

"I got raped by Protestant extremists."

"They were supposed to assassinate your father, but when they came to our chambers... your father wasn't there."

"I'm sorry, mo-"

I was cut off by her.

"They will always degrade us."

I nodded.

"Keep this in mind at all times."

"The rape will tear you in half, but it will not end your life."

"I will assist you in getting through this, my daughter."

"Be strong."

"I-I will."

I answered

"I won't let anything happen to you again."

"We will find your rapists."

She wiped my tears and tried to ease my pain.

The Queen let her rest and stayed there for awhile beside her daughter.

An hour later, the Queen gathered her people and ordered all of their army to find those groups of men who attacked the Princess.

Back in France, the Scottish ambassador told Queen Mother Catherine the news. She didn't hesitate to write a letter to Mary and immediately demanded a passage to Scotland.

I heard what happened to Alexandra. I booked a passage to Scotland; expect me there by tomorrow. I will help you find those heartless bastards. Let's help her get through this the way I did to help you, so comfort her for me. I will see you both tomorrow.

Justice will prevail, my dear. Maybe not now, but eventually.
