Oh my! I feel scared. Who sent me that?

It's obviously not from my mother or Catherine. There's no name, and I haven't seen that kind of seal.

Luckily, we are scheduled to leave Paris. I had already packed my things and went to my carriage. Due to sleepless nights, I fell asleep on the way back to the court.

The moment I woke up, I was already in the French Court. A slightly mad Catherine welcomed me with a message from my mother.

"You're going back to Scotland."

"You read the letter?"

"Of course, yes."

"I'm not surprised."

"That letter is for both of us, my dear."

She handed me the letter from my mother in Scotland.

I hope you're doing alright. How is she? I'm glad that the English ceased the threat. It's all under control here. I guess my cousin laid low, even just for awhile, but I do hope they stop permanently. What's new in the French Court? I miss France. I miss Francis. I am planning to visit you soon together with Alexandra. By the way, speaking of Alexandra, she can now go back here. I sent my men this early morning to get her back here safely.

My daughter! Finally, you can now go back here. I sent our men to fetch you back here without any delay and away from harm. Please bring me some French goods! I definitely miss France! I love you, sweet child.

So after I read the letter, I went into my chambers.

Well, surprisingly, it's all done. My dresses are all packed and settled. It is kind of obvious who made the ladies do it.

Catherine opened the door and told me that she had already told the servants to pack all my things.

"Speaking of the devil"

I jokingly said

"I told the servants to pack your things even if you're not here."

"The moment that the men your mother sent arrive here, you're expected to leave eventually."

"The time of your departure is indeed precious while there are no enemies on your way."

"Which is true and I also agree with that."

"Thank you, grandmother!"

"I will miss you"

I checked my baggage and there were newly sewn dresses for me and my mother. When I was about to ask Catherine, she noticed that I had seen it. She didn't bother to wait for me and told me that it was from her.

"That's a gift for you and your mother from me."

"And the fruit your mother wanted is already in your carriage."

Of course, I'm thankful for the gifts. I will surely miss my family here in French Court.

Suddenly, a French guard knocked.

"Your majesty, the Scots are here, and your carriage is ready."

"Your baggage will be delivered to your carriage."

I felt the sadness of my grandmother that I would be leaving France again. I hugged her so that she would not feel down .

"Don't worry, grandmother"

"I will write to you as soon as I get there"

"I left gifts from my adventure at your chambers."

"My dear, I will miss you and always take care of yourself okay."

"Thank you for the gifts. I will check it as soon as you leave."

The moment I went outside of my chamber, I saw King Charles walking towards me.

"Alexandra"

"Yes, Uncle Charles?"

"Your carriage is here already"

"Are you done?"

"Ah yes, Uncle. My guard already informed me of that. "

"And yes, all ready."

"Uhm, so be careful, okay?"

"Always be brave like Francis"

"Remember mind over heart."

"Yes"

It seems ironic, but I nodded.

"And listen to your mother, okay?"

"She will always need a hand from her family"

"And because of that, I will be here if she needs help."

"Thank you!"

He smiled

"You better go already, everybody in Scotland is waiting for you!"

"Tell Mary, I said hi."

"Of course I will"

He hugged me.

I went to my carriage. I waved goodbye to King Charles, Princess Claude and Queen Mother Catherine.
