《Carnivore Girl: Jurassic Park》Dennis: Bonus Chapter

Dennis' POV
I'm sitting at a restaurant waiting for Dodgson to show up. He is offering me a lot of many to steal dinosaur embryos. Which is good as I need the money and would love to get back at John Hammond. For not helping me financially. I spot Dodgson wearing a ridiculous hat and sunglasses carrying a bag. I wave him over calling "Dodgson!"
"You shouldn't use my name" he mutters as he sits down.
"Dodgson! Dodgson! We've got Dodgson here!" I shout pointing at him. But as I predicted no one cares. "See, no one cares" I tell him wiping my hands. "Nice hat. What are you trying to look like, a secret agent?" I ask and he takes it off.
Dodgson puts a briefcase on the table, getting down to business. "$750,000. On delivery, $50,000 more for each viable embryo. That's $1.5 million if you can get all fifteen species off the island" he tells me as I hug the case.
"Oh I'll get them all" I assure him smiling feeling giddy.
"Remember-- viable embryos. They're useless to us if they don't survive" he reminds me.
"How am I supposed to transport them?" I ask him. He pulls out a can of shaving cream.
"The bottom screws open" he says unscrewing it. He takes it out and shows me the compartment before putting it back. "It's cooled and compartmentalized inside" he explains. "Customs can even check it if they want to" he adds.
"Let me see" I say and hands it to me. I press the button and shaving cream appears.
"There's enough coolant for thirty-six hours" he tells me.
"No menthol?" I ask him as I wipe my hands clean.
"The embryos have to be back here in San Jose by then" he tells me.
"That's up to your guy on the boat. Seven o'clock tomorrow night on the east dock. Make sure he gets it right" I tell him.
"How are you planning to beat security?" he asks me.
"Oh I got an eighteen minute window as long as Hammond's granddaughter's schedule doesn't change. Eighteen minutes, and your company catches up on ten years of research" I tell him. The check arrives and he pays for it.

(Jurassic Park)
I arrive back and go to the control room, where I'm meet by Hammond's granddaughter. "Good timing Dennis, the phones need to debugging" she tells me.
"Why didn't you do it?" I ask as I sit at my work station.
"I was about to, but I'm running late meeting Doctor Wu. So please do it while I go see him about the raptor eggs" she tells me. I nod my head and she smiles before leaving. What a spoiled brat. She should be in school, not giving me orders.
(Later that day)
Jenny didn't stick to her schedule due to a sick triceratops. But she's away and I have to move soon. But there's a storm coming and before I could call the boat guy. Hammond spots me eating at my station.
"Dennis, our lives are in your hands, and you have butterfingers?" he asks me.
"I am totally unappreciated in my time. You can run this park from this room with minimal staff for up to three days. You think that level of automation is easy? Or cheap? You know anyone who can network eight machines and debug two million lines of code on my salary? If so, I'd love to see them try" I tell him.
"I'm sorry about your financial problems. I really am. But they are your problems" he tells me.
"You're right, John. You're absolutely right. Everything's my problem" I grumble.
"I will not get drawn into another financial debate with you, Dennis. I really will not" he tells me firmly.
"There's hardly been any debate at all" I mumble.
"I don't blame people for their mistakes. But I do ask that they pay for them" he tells me.
"Thanks dad" I grumble.
"Dennis. The headlights" Arnold tells me.
"Yeah, I'll debug the tour program when they get back, okay? Okay?! It'll eat a lot of computer cycles, as I'm already debugging the phones. We'll lose part of the system for a while. There's a finite amount of memory. We can't use it for everything" I tell him.

"Quiet all of you" Muldoon tells us. "They're approaching the T-rex paddock" he states.
(Storm hits)
The storm has hit and I am on the phone to the guy on the boat. "There's nothing I can do. If the captain says we gotta go, we gotta go!" he shouts over the storm.
"No no, listen. You gotta give me some time. I did a test run on this thing, and it took me twenty minutes. I think I can push it to eighteen, but you gotta give me at least fifteen minutes. Just give me fifteen minutes" I beg.
"No promises" he states and hangs up.
"Anybody want a soda or something? I'm going up to the machine. I'd thought I'd get somebody something. I've had only sweets and I'm gonna get something salty" I tell the others. "Oh! I uh, finished debugging the phones. I was going to, uh, so I did. So I debugged the phones. And I thought maybe I should tell you that the system is going to be, um... uh... compiling for eighteen to twenty minutes. So some of the minor systems, they may go on or off for a while, but it's nothing to worry about, it's just a simple thing" I assure them.
I turn my attention to my console, clicking the execute button. A lot of the windows on the screen clear away, and what remains is a one minute countdown. I start the countdown, grabbing the can of shaving cream as I leave.
(Cold storage)
I finish the count down and enter the room as the security system shuts down. I open both embryo freezers. I open the secret compartment of the shaving cream can. I then place one of each embryo into it. Before putting it back and closing both freezers. I leave the room and go to my car.
(Somewhere in the the park)
I had gotten lost after knocking over the sign that pointed to the docks. I've found it again. Only I'm at the top of a hill stuck in mud. Feeling stressed out due to having a small amount of time left. I go to the front of the Jeep to grab rope. Think I can tie to a tree at the bottom in order to get the Jeep out of the mud. Only I slide down the slippy hill and lose my glasses.
"My glasses!...I can afford more glasses" I grumble as I head over to a tree. " I got time! You can do this Dennis you can do this" I tell myself as I go around the tree. I hear something and look up "hello?" I call, but no one answers. So I start tying the rope around the tree. Suddenly a dinosaur appears.
"Oh that's nice. Gotta go" I say nervously heading back to my car. But it follows me making chirping noises. "Nice boy, nice boy!" I say grabbing a stick. "Hey here's a stick. See the stick? STICK STUPID!" I shout throwing it. But it just looked at it, before looking back up at me. "No wonder you're extinct...I will run you over when I get back down" I tell it.
Using the rope as support I start to climb the slippery hill. I look back and the dinosaur growls at me spreading its frilly neck. It spits something into my eyes and I scream trying to get rid of it. I hit my head on the car and fall down. But I got back up and got into the car.
I though I was safe, until I heard another growl. I turn to see another frilled dinosaur. With no where to go, the creature attacks. The last thing I saw where it's sharp teeth.

8 212Shame On Me
After losing all his companions in a vicious fight, a powerful warrior is thrown back in time to when he was twelve years old. Using his expertise and knowledge of the world, will he be able to become strong enough to survive along with his friends?
8 215Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
