Jenny's POV
Tim and Lex have just finished telling me everything that had happened since we separated yesterday afternoon. From the power going off, Tim scaring Lex, the goat disappearing, Genarro leaving them, Dr Grant saving Lex, the car going over the edge with Tim inside, Dr Grant and Lex following climbing down a wire. Then how Dr Grant save Tim from the car, then how they slept in a try, heard theBrachiosaurus sing to each other, patted one, how one sneezed on Lex and then how they discovered dino eggs.
"So wait, the dinosaurs are breeding in the wild? How is that even possible?" I ask Lex and Tim.
"Yeah we saw the eggs and small dino footprints" Tim states.
"Do you know which frog was used to complete the DNA sequence gaps?" Dr Grant asks.
"Henry said something about west Africa when Grandpa asked him" I tell him.
"Some west African frogs have been known to spontaneously change sex from male to female in a single sex environment. Malcolm was right, life found a way" he states.
"But Henry should of know the frog could do that, unless he wanted them to breed in the wild" I say confused. "Though I doubt he'd do so without Grandpa's permission" I add.
"He could of not realized the DNA sequence he used from the frog had the sex change gene in it" Lex states.
"You are probably right" I say smiling. "Ah we made it" I say when the tall fence came into view. "Good the power still seems to be off" I state looking at the light. Dr Grant gets onto the concrete part of the fence and throws a stick at the fence. No sparks flew.
"Guess that means the power's off" he says and goes to put his hands on the fence. He suddenly jerks screaming and I roll my eyes. As Lex and Tim cover their eyes screaming.

"That's not funny" Lex states when Dr Grant sends them a smirk.
"She's right, they've been through enough without you pretending to electrocute yourself" I state.
"That was great" Tim says.
"Are you sure this is the only way back Jenny?" Dr Grant asks.
"It's the quickest and safest way" I assure him. We hear a roar of a t-rex and I help Tim onto the concrete wall as Dr Grant helps Lex. I climb on myself and we start to climb the fence.
"Timmy, I bet I can climb over the top and get on the other side before you can even get to the top" Lex states. I roll my eyes, typical of them to turn this into a game. But I guess that's how they're coping with this stressful life or/and death situation.
"What would you give me?" he asks her.
"Respect" she replies and Tim smiles.
"Come on guys, it's not a race" I tell them. We reach the top and climb over before beginning our descent. But we didn't realize Tim was having trouble getting over the top. Until we landed on the ground to hear an alarm go off. "Oh no, the power is coming back on" I state. "Where's Tim?" I ask Lex and we look up to see Tim still up at the top of the fence on our side.
"Timmy" Doctor Grant shouts.
"Get down now!" Lex and I shout.
"You'll have to jump" Dr Grant tells him.
"You crazy, I'm not gonna jump!" Tim shouts.
"Do as Dr Grant says" Lex tells him.
"I'll count to three; one, two , three" Dr Grant says, but Tim doesn't move. "I'm coming up to get you, I have to get Tim" he tells us. But I can't take my eyes off of my little cousin. I hear Tim start to count as the power comes back on. He's electrocuted and shot into the air. But I manage to catch him and fall down to the ground protecting him.

"Timmy! Timmy!" Lex shouts as she runs over with Dr Grant. I lay Tim on the ground gently and Dr Grant checks his breathing.
"He's not breathing" he states. Lex starts to cry and I stand hugging her to stop her from pacing. As Dr Grant performs CPR on Tim. On the second try Tim gasps couching slightly. "Good boy, good boy" Dr Grant says hold him up stroking his hair.
"Three..." Tim breaths and we laugh quietly.
"Can you carry him Dr Grant?" I ask.
"Of course, lead the way" he tells me.
"Come on Lex" I say gently wrapping an arm around her and continue to lead them to the visitors centre.

Runicka: Tournament of Monsters (A GameLit Card Game Fantasy)
The runes are changing, and with it, the game itself changes. Taygion Ardwella finds himself stranded, alone, and on the run from some very determined guards who claim Tay's stolen from them. They're right, but that shouldn't mean Tay has to give back what he took. He's only been in Stormwall for a week and already, he's earning the ire of the most powerful and notorious House that controls the city's underground. And when their scion challenges Tay to a duel of cards, Tay will find himself thrust into a game of sorcery and strategy as he attempts to both find a way out of this mess and find his own way in the world. To do both, he'll need to learn to accept guidance and coaching where it's sorely needed, craft a deck of unimaginable power, and not die whenever his opponents try and cheat him out of a hard-earn victory. But not all is as it seems in the shadows of Stormwall, and if Tay can figure out the importance of what it is he's stolen, he may just have a chance at saving the game of Runicka. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Runicka: Tournament of Monsters is a high fantasy, card game-based adventure novel with enough magic, worldbuilding, and characters to fill a Sanderson series. I would consider it a part of the GameLit subgenre. This series in particular is not an isekai, and will start and end in a high fantasy setting complete with its own lore and backstory. It is a progression fantasy, and I am writing it inspired by all the Yu-Gi-Oh mangas/animes, and all the hours I've invested/wasted (depending on who you ask) playing TCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic: The Gathering. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a work in progress. In your journey through Stormwall alongside Tay, you'll probably find typos, grammatical errors, and maybe a confusing sentence every once in a while (although I hope to keep these to a minimum). That said, comments and suggestions on where I can improve are not only encouraged but greatly appreciated. And finally, expect new chapters every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~**Currently on a small hiatus. I have a bit of a workplace crisis going on. I'm still writing, but I don't have time to polish and publish. Chapters will return on a regular basis soon though!!**

The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.

The Blood Mage
The fiction is about a person with no conscience whatsoever, he only does what he wants. With no rights and wrongs telling him what to do, how far can he take it before having to face the consequences of his past actions? Ah, forgot to mention, there would be some disturbing things done by the MC. Also, updates are irregular.
