|Author's Note|
~
Hello My lovely readers! Surprise I'm still alive! I apologize for the long long wait. Between the baby shower planning and my unborn child making my life a living hell I didn't really have time to write as much as I wanted to. Thanks to my baby boy I've been an emotional wreck. I can't keep anything down and at this point I am a waterfall of tears. My husband has no idea what to do so he just give me lots of love, food, and cuddles when he gets home from work. Lol Bless his heart. I promise I will try to keep updating as much as I can. Please have patience with me. Since the baby shower is almost here and once that's over with I can focus my time on writing again until I pop this baby out. This chapter is fairly short so I do apologize for that but I have already started the next one and if all goes well I will be able to upload it in a few days.

| Eva's Library |
"Eva? Baby are you here?" Samael questioned as he walked inside Eva's library.
Eva didn't say a word. She simply sat at the windowsill without moving a muscle.
Samael walked in and watched as Evasat like a statue. It seemed the talk with his father had caused turmoil in Eva. A couple of days had passed but Eva didn't say a word. She simply sat and thought about her options.
At this point, Samael didn't care what she chose as long as she talked to him.
"Eva?" Misty whispered as she looked at her daughter.
Prince Samael had gone looking for Misty to see if she could cheer Eva up. He was worried about her. Vampires were known to go days without food or sleep but he still worried about his beloved.
"Eva?" Misty repeated.
Misty has never seen Eva like this. Even when the news reached them that Eva's parents had been killed she was sad sure but never to this extent.
Samael watched as a single tear rolled down Eva's cheek. The tear reminded him that she was, in fact, alive and not just a statue.
In a heartbeat, Samael hugged his beautiful beloved.
"Shhh, it's okay baby." Sam cooed as he kissed Eva's temple.
Misty watched as Sam fawned over Eva and how much he worried for her. A small warmth filled her as she knew that no matter what Eva decided, Sam would support and love her just the same.

"What should I do?" Eva mumbled for the first time in days, shocking her mother and her beloved.
Misty simply remained silent. Although Misty was Eva's mother she knew deep down that Eva had to make her own choice on this matter. Something so important couldn't be left to someone else to make the decision. Although it hurt Misty not to guide Eva in what she thought was a good choice she knew that Eva had to make this choice herself.
At some point in a mother's life she just had to let her young baby fly. Misty had to trust that she had implemented the right and wrong in Eva enough to know that the day she was no longer alive Eva would be able to make good clear decisions for herself.
"What should I do mom?" Eva whispered as another small tear fell from her eye.
Samael quickly wiped the tear away and placed an affectionate kiss on Eva's cheek.
"Flip a Coin" Misty spoke with a small smile.
"Flip a Coin?" Eva questioned in astonishment and slight annoyance.
Her mother was basically telling her to leave such an important decision up to chance?
"Yes, because when that coin is in the air you will know what you are hoping for." Misty spoke as she placed her palm on her daughter's knee in affectation.
Suddenly Eva's mind exploded and she realized just how wise her mother really was. Misty was right... in a serious situation Eva knew what she had to do. She had to become the next Vampire Queen.
"What if my decision hurts people?" Eva mumbled as the realization of her choice struck her.
"Sweetheart, you have to decide this for your own happiness not for anyone else's. Sometimes you have to be selfish and that's okay, but if you live life worried about other people you will never live your life to the fullest." Misty encouraged Eva.
Deep down Misty knew that Eva had made her choice. Although she didn't know what Eva had chosen she was happy that the turmoil in Eva's heart had passed.
"I'm going to give you guys some privacy." Misty smiled as she looked at Samael.
His eyes hadn't strayed from Eva since they walked in. It was like he couldn't physically look away from her.
The love and adoration that poured out of his eyes was making Misty feel like a third wheel. She decided to place a motherly kiss on her daughter's forehead and walk out of the library.

As the doors to the library shut and the silence once again consumed the room Eva took a deep breath.
"Have you decided my love?" Samael questioned as he sat next to Eva with his palm on her thigh.
"Yes." Eva whispered as she continued to bask in the sunlight that was flowing in from the window.
A part of Eva wished she could just once see the sunlight. Just once she would like to be able to see the outside, her family, and her beloved. At least for a day she wished she could get her sight and she would be more than content with that.
"Please tell me what you have decided." Sam whispered as he drew closer to her.
"Well-" Before Eva could finish Samael smashed his lips on hers.
Before he received the terrible news he was expecting he wanted to make sure that Eva knew just how much his love for her has grown since they found out they were meant to be.
Samael tasted every inch on Eva's mouth. Trying to engrave her taste in his mind. If Eva decided to take the Beta position he would be happy for her but he would support her.
Samael's hands grabbed onto Eva's neck as he pulled her closer. He wished he could just have her forever. If it were up to him, he would lock Eva away and keep her from everyone and everything but he knew that was wrong.
When you see the prettiest flower in the field you leave it, because the moment you pick it up and tear it from its roots it begins to die.
Eva was much like a flower. She was beyond gorgeous and Sam loved his flower more than anything. He knew that Eva would take the Beta position. She couldn't be torn from her roots and that was what broke his soul. The fact that he had just gotten his Beloved only to have her kept from him once again.
Eva's hands slowly pushed Sam's chest but he refused to let her go just yet.
He sat back and pulled Eva onto his lap. Samael wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.
Samael hadn't realized that a small tear had escaped his closed eyes. The thought of having his beloved so far away from him broke his heart.
Eva once again pushed at Samael's chest until finally he let go and they pulled away from each other.
"Sam" Eva spoke breathlessly.
Samael turned his face away from Eva and aggressively wiped a tear from his eye. There was only one time he was glad she couldn't see him. That was she couldn't see exactly how broken he was.
"I apologize." He spoke out gruffly as he cleared his throat.
"Sam" Eva whispered as she placed her hands on his shoulders and then slowly made her way to his face.
When Eva's hands finally reached his face she forced him to look at her.
"I am going to refuse the Beta position." Eva whispered.
The words that slipped from Eva's mouth made Prince Samael question his sanity.
Had he heard correctly? She was going to stay with him? Was she really? What would he do if she was joking? He prayed to the Moon Goddess that Eva was speaking the truth.
"What?" He questioned in disbelief.
"I am going to refuse the Beta Position." Eva repeated once again with a chuckle.
"Are you serious?" Samael smiled as the question left his lips.
"Yes, I wanted to take over the Beta position but I know that if I do I won't truly be happy." Eva whispered.
With his heart filled with joy Samael picked Eva up and carried her to his room in seconds. The door shut behind him and a slight gasp escaped Eva's lips as she fell back on his soft mattress.
"What's happening?" Eva questioned as she propped herself up on her elbows.
Prince Samael climbed over her and placed a kiss on her lips.
"I'm going to show you exactly just how happy you have made me." He whispered in her ear as he slowly pushed himself on Eva.
Eva gasped but smiled when she felt a hard tent rub up against her. Immediately her body ignited in heat and she became giddy with anticipation.
