《My Blind Princess》Chapter 14

"Eva? Are you in here?" Samael questioned as he hesitantly walked into the silent library. The book that Eva had dropped at the hotel was now in his hands.
"In here" Eva shouted as she continued to read her book.
Samael walked to the back of the library. He admired the rows and rows filled with books. Surprised that so many Braille books existed in one place.
"Alana said I would find you here." Sam smiled as he took a seat next to Eva on the windowsill.
"Yeah, this is my sanctuary. I spend most of my time here." Eva muttered as her fingers continued to slide across the book.
"I figured when I saw you down by the pool at the hotel." Sam smiled as looked at the book in his hands.
"Were you watching me?" Eva questioned as her fingers came to a halt and a small smile formed on her face.
"What? No... of course not. I simply glanced your way when I walked in that day. Actually I came looking for you because you dropped this that day." Sam muttered shyly.
Samael softly grabbed Eva's hand and placed the book on her palm.
Eva felt the book and it wasn't long before she knew exactly what she was holding. It was the book she had lost at the hotel. Filled with so much happiness Eva quickly reacted by jumping onto Samael and wrapping him in a hug.
Samael was shocked by Eva's reaction. He didn't really understand why she was so happy. Wasn't it just a book? Nonetheless he didn't miss the opportunity and quickly wrapped his arms around Eva's waist.
His eyes shut almost automatically and he took in a deep breath inhaling Eva's sweet scent.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Eva spoke with cheer.
Much to Samael's dismay Eva soon retreated from her hug meaning he had to let go as well. Although he was glad that he had made her so happy.
"Oh Gosh I could just kiss you!" Eva smiled as she placed her hand on Samael's cheek and hugged the book to her chest.
"You have no idea how happy you have-"
Eva was quickly cut off when Samael grabbed her hand and pulled her to him. His hand softly grabbed her neck and his lips crashed into hers.
Eva was so shocked that she couldn't even move! Beside the fact that Sam's lips were as soft as butter she had no idea why he would do that!
Sam slowly let go and his eyes slowly opened. The look of shock on Eva's face was a dead giveaway that maybe a kiss wasn't the right move.
"Eva... I'm so sorry. I-I don't know what came over me. I-I just saw you so happy that I-I don't even know what happened." Samael quickly apologized as he let go of his grip on Eva.
The shock still hadn't subsided in Eva and her hand slowly and instinctively rose to her lips. Her fingers felt her lips and for the first time they felt foreign at her touch.
"It's okay." She mumbled.
"I'm so sorry... Maybe I should go." Sam spoke out in a rush.
"Yeah... yeah maybe you should." Eva replied in a monotone.
Samael simply nodded and rose from his seat. He walked out of the library like a bat out of a cave.
Eva sat there in her surprised state. Samael has just kissed her... PRINCE Samael had just kissed her.
What should she have done? Should she have kissed him back? Oh gosh did she like him? Did she not like him?

Eva had a thousand and one questions running through her mind right now that she didn't notice the blush that had formed on her cheeks.
Eva may not have known how to handle it but her body seemed to react to the kiss just fine.
Samael cursed himself as he walked out of the library. What the hell came over him? He had never done that before. He didn't even like to kiss. He thought if it as an annoying form of PDA. Kissing didn't serve a purpose that's why he avoided it all together.
Except for when it came to Eva. The moment he saw he so happy and her smile so big. He just went for it and now... now he was outside of the library doors cursing himself.
It seemed that when ever Samael was around Eva he turned into this person he didn't even know. He was a different version of himself.
Around Eva he was shy and mushy. He was sweet and caring when in reality he was a Prince who only focused on ascending the throne.
Why did she have so much control over him? When Sam was around Eva it was as if he was an extension to her instead of being a whole different person.
Samael took in a deep breath and softly touched his lips. During the kiss he didn't miss that small sparks that ignited something in him. He was pretty sure that is Eva had reciprocated the kiss he would have lost control. Not that he had much anyway.
Her lips were so soft and she tasted so sweet. The Prince has to force himself not to walk back in there and kiss her again. That was all that was on his mind.
"Sammy did you find Eva?" Calvin questioned as he turned a corner and spotted the Prince squatting in front of a large wooden door.
"Hey you okay?" Calvin asked as he rushed down to kneel beside his best friend.
Samael had a far off look in his eyes like he wasn't all there. That worried Calvin. Had something happened?
The minute Calvin placed a hand on his shoulder Samael snapped back into reality and away from the godly kiss he had shared with Eva.
He sprung up from his position causing Calvin to fall backwards. Samael cleared his throat and simply looked down at Calvin. He offered him a hand to stand.
"Yeah. I'm fine. I was just thinking of something." Samael tried to play it off.
"Oh yeah? What about?" Calvin questioned hesitantly as he stood up.
"Strawberries. I'm in the mood for some strawberries." Samael chuckled as he licked his lips.
Samael quickly started to walk off nonchalantly as he headed towards the kitchen.
"Strawberries? But he doesn't even like Strawberries." Calvin muttered to himself as he tried to figure out what the hell just happened.
Calvin reluctantly followed the Prince into the kitchen. There the prince sat on one of the stools with a bowl of strawberries in front of him. He plucked one from the bowl and ate it.
Calvin watched as the Prince's face contorted into one of disgust as he ate at the strawberry.
"Did you forget you don't like strawberries?" Calvin questioned with a smirk as he sat down next to his best friend.
"They aren't sweet enough." Samael stayed as he pushed the bowl away.
Confused Calvin picked one up and ate it. The strawberries were ripe and very sweet almost as sweet as sugar. In all honesty they were a bit too sweet. So sweet in fact that Calvin's jaw tightened and slightly seized at the sweet juices.

"What are you talking about? They are plenty sweet." Calvin argued as he held his jaw and opened his mouth to attempt to loosen the tightness in his jaw.
"No. They aren't as sweet as..."
"As sweet as what?" Calvin questioned when the prince suddenly stopped mid sentence.
"Never mind." Samael grumbled as he stood from his chair and walked out of the kitchen.
Calvin sat there with a confused look plastered on his face. Who the hell was this man? This was definitely NOT the prince. This was someone completely different.
"Hey hot stuff what are you doing here?" Alana questioned as she walked into the kitchen.
Alana had on a pair of skin tight shorts and a loose tank top. She was most likely going to train.
"Hey Sexy." Calvin smirked back as he selfishly took in the sight of Alana's tight round ass.
Oh how he wished Alana was his beloved. He would be able to make sweet love to her and enjoy that tight ass any time he wanted.
| Eva's Sanctuary |
Eva's fingers slid across the same sentence for the 15th time. Still she had no idea what it said.
She wasn't able to focus on her reading. Her mind kept going back to that kiss.
Eva shut her book in annoyance and stood from her seat. She rushed over to a bookshelf and once again picked up another book. When she finally decided she sat on her windowsill and opened up the book.
She slid her fingers across the first sentence and once again for like the hundredth time her mind went back to the kiss.
Eva grumbled and shut the book in anger. Somehow trying to punish the book for some reason. As if it was the books fault for her mind running back to that kiss.
She stood and stormed out of her library. Slamming the door closed on her way out.
Maybe her mind would be settled if she would have just kissed the prince back. Maybe her mind wouldn't be wondering what if, if she had just returned the kiss. Then she probably would have been able to finish her damn book!
Eva stormed around the Pack House looking for the Prince. She had to tell him off. She had to make it known that it was HIS fault she couldn't enjoy her books.
She followed his scent all around the house until finally she read one of the guest bedrooms. This was where the Prince was currently staying while he and his men were helping out.
Eva slammed the door open and sniffed the room, due to the force the door slowly shut behind her. The strong scent let her know the prince was definitely there.
Samael sat on the bed without a shirt on. He had decided that maybe a cold shower would help him with his situation. As he stood up and started to unbuckle his belt the door to his room slammed open. Eva walked in with a scowl on her face.
'Aw shit' thought the prince as he looked at a pissed off Eva.
"Eva, is there something I can do for you?" He questioned as he tried to play it off.
He knew what she was going to yell at him about. The Kiss. Maybe if he acted nonchalant she wouldn't yell too much.
"This is all your fault!" Eva grumbled as she walked closer to him.
Samael tried to keep his breath from quickening. She was so close all he could think about was grabbed her waist and pulling her in for another kiss.
"Why did you have to do that?! I have a mate! I'm sure you have someone special too! Why would you kiss me like that? Now I can't read anything without thinking of that stupid kiss!" Eva yelled as she stood her ground.
"Eva, Is really sorry. I don't know what came over me." The Prince tried to explain. He slowly walked closer to her until they were almost touching.
"Yeah well I didn't ask for a kiss did I?! What kind of man just goes around kissing random women? What would you have thought if I had just kissed you out of nowhere?!" Eva added.
'Yes please. Anything to taste that sweet strawberry taste.' The Prince thought to himself causing him to chuckle.
Eva was more enraged at the fact that the Prince was making fun of her! How dare he!
In a burst of more rage Eva grabbed the Prince by his neck and pulled him down to her where she crashed her lips to his.
This time she expected to pull away just as fast as she had pulled him to her but the Prince had another thought in mind.
He kissed her back! The sweet taste of strawberries filled his senses once again and he could help wanting a bit more.
Before Eva knew it she was lying on her back on his bed while the Prince pinned her down.
He kissed and licked and sucked every inch of her mouth. Almost as if he was trying to remember every inch of it.
A slight moan escaped Eva lips as the Samael grasped onto the back of her hair.
The moan filled the Samael with more need as he pulled away from her lips and latched onto the neck. He kissed and licked and sucked every inch of her neck until Eva let out a slight gasp.
Eva felt sparks run through her body as the Prince mostly attacked her neck. She had never felt this before. She just couldn't seem to pull herself away from him. Almost as if her body craved his.
A knock on the door pulled Eva away from her fun filled ecstasy. Knocking her back into reality. The Prince however seemed unfazed by the interruption. He pulled away from her neck and crashed his lips one hers.
"Hey Sammy I'm going to go train with Alana. Yell if you need me!" Calvin shouted through the door.
Eva froze as she came to the conclusion that only a simple thin wooden door separated her from pure humiliation.
Eva tried to speak but it was as if the prince was too far gone.
"Sam... Sam wait." Eva mumbled between kisses.
"Calvin is outside." She tried to speak.
Samael growled at the thought of Eva trying to stop his pleasure.
"He's gone." Samael growled out as he continued to enjoy her strawberry taste.
Eva tried to stop but the prince wouldn't. She was left with no other choice other than to bite the Prince.
The bite knocked some sense into the Prince as he pulled away from Eva. There was a bit of blood pooling into his mouth and he watched with shock as Eva stood and started to walk out.
"This was a mistake. We won't let it happen again." She spoke out in authority as she walked out of his room.
The Prince watched as the door slowly shut behind her leaving him in the room alone. He licked his lips to stop the blood.
Now that he had a taste he couldn't stop thinking about Eva. He was now an addict as she was his drug. A mischievous smile formed on his face as he slowly sat on his bed.
He could see the indentation of where Eva had been laying. He softly placed a hand on the bed as the taste of sweet strawberries filled his mind.
This wasn't the end. He will have Eva as his. This he promised himself. After what she tasted like how could he ever not want her?
"Oh Eva, You're mine and you don't even know it." Samael smirked as he whispered to himself.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
