《My Blind Princess》Chapter 10

On The Jet
"Have you prepared for what you are going to say to the King?" Alana questioned as she crossed one leg over the other and sat back into her seat.
"I am going to politely request assistance from them," Alexandrov said with a smirk.
"Dad, that's terrible preparation." Alan laughs at her father.
"I was thinking Eva could speak to the King." Alexandrov smiled as he looks at the vampire reading a book.
"With all due respect Alpha that is a terrible idea!" Eva exclaims as she slams her book close in surprise.
"Why not?"
"Most of my childhood I spent it with the pack, I was really young when we left so I don't remember much."
"What do you remember Eva?" Alan questioned as she placed her hand on Eva's knee.
"I remember my mother and I know she had a bodyguard so she must have been important."
"Meaning you must be important."
"Or maybe we were running from persecution for being important," Eva whispered as she thought back to a time where she lived with her mother.
Eva knew that her mother was an important person but her memories were hazy since so much time had passed. She wasn't quite sure how important her mother was. Maybe she was a noble or maybe even part of the royal family.
"Whatever happens we are not going to let them hurt you," Alexandrov confirmed.
"Yes, I know. I just don't know why I'm so nervous."
"It's understandable. You don't know how things ended between the royal family and your mother. We could be walking into danger."
"Thanks that cheers me up so much." Eva sighed out in sarcasm.
Alexandrov chuckled at Eva's response.
"Alpha the plane is about to land."
Alexandrov thanked the pilot and everyone fastened their seatbelts.
The turbulence of the plane made everyone aware of the fact that the plane was landing. The thumping in Eva's chest grew as the plane neared the ground. Eva took a deep breath and swallowed the lump in her throat.
The plane landed and everyone let out a sigh they didn't know they had been holding in. Eva and Alana stood from their seats and headed for the pane door. Alexandrov stood and waited. When the doors opened, everyone walked out of the plane.
At The Hotel
"We will be meeting the King in two hours until then we will get settled in at the hotel," Alexandrov instructed.
Alana and Eva agreed and rushed up to their room. Eva wanted to finish her book and Alana wanted to spend a little time by the pool. Maybe she could have a quicky before she had to meet the King. She knew she would be in a much better mood anyway.
As soon as they walked into the hotel room Eva and Alana chose their beds and quickly started to settle in.
Eva sat on her bed and opened up her book once again. Alana placed her suitcase on her bed and looked through her clothes to find her skimpy bathing suit.

"Are you really going to stay in this room all alone with your book?"
"That's the plan," Eva mumbled in response.
"You should at least head down to the pool area with me. Read your book by the pool in the sun. Maybe get a tan."
"I'm a vampire, we don't tan." Eva chuckled.
"Anyway, I didn't even pack a bathing suit," Eva added.
"I have an extra one." Alana chimed in happiness.
Eva sighed out but decided to join her longtime best friend. It was about time she did explore more than just the Hotel lobby and the Hotel room. Eva placed her book on the bed and slowly stood.
"Alright fine, let me see what you have." Eva smiled causing Alana to squeal and hug her best friend.
Alana handed Eva her spare bathing suit causing Eva to gasp.
"What is this? It's nothing more than strings!" Eva exclaimed and she felt around the fabric.
Alana chuckled and handed Eva the other part to the two-piece.
"That's because it's the top piece. It's a two-piece bathing suit."
"What about a one-piece bathing suit with a little more coverage?" Eva mumbled as she felt both pieces not entirely sold on the idea of walking around almost naked in front of strangers that she couldn't even see.
"Oh come on Eva, Live a little. It's not like you are going to be by yourself and it's not like you will be naked."
"Yes but I'm going to be uncomfortable. We are in a strange place and I don't know the territory very well. What if we get attacked?"
"Did you plan on going to the pool in battle armor?" Alana chuckled as she joked.
"Well No, but I wasn't expecting such a skimpy bathing suit."
"Oh come on Eva, just try it on and see how it fits. If you don't like it then you can take it off and head back to your book. I won't force you to go."
Eva slightly smiled but decided to agree. She quickly headed to the bathroom and changed. She fumbled a bit with the top but after a few tries, she managed to get the damn thing on.
Eva felt the bathing suit against her body and sighed as her hands roamed all of the skin that wasn't covered by the suit. She walked out into the room to an already dressed Alana.
Alana smiled as she looked at her best friend. She was beautiful and her heart panged that her best friend couldn't see just how beautiful she was.
"You look amazing Eva!" Alana squealed in happiness.
"Do you really think so? I don't know how I feel about it."
"Oh come on Eva, It'll be a good thing. It's the middle of the day so many people won't even be there." Alana smiled.
Alan could see how Eva's mind was running a million miles a minute thinking on what to say.
"We can just be there for a little while, if it gets too uncomfortable we will leave. Plus you can take your iPod and listen to music while you read."

Eva finally decided that she needed to live a little and agreed. She grabbed a towel, her book, and finally, her iPod filled with classical music.
Both Ladies headed down to the lobby where they asked the front desk where the pool was located. Luckily for Eva the pool that the hotel had was indoors and not out in the sun.
As they walked towards the pool Alana spotted a very good looking young man. That seemed to be heading to the pool as well. Alana turned to look at Eva to tell her of what she saw, when she noticed her best friend with a pair of earbuds in and completely ignoring everything.
Alana sighed but chuckled no less. What more could she expect? Eva was not necessarily an outgoing person and although Eva was older than Alana by a few years, many times it felt like Alana was the older one looking out for her little sister.
As both ladies walked into the heated space Alana helped Eva onto a white plastic sun chair. Placing Eva's towel on the chair and then helping Eva to get comfortable. The ladies ignored the group of females that were already in the pool. It seemed that all the people in the pool area were in their twenties.
Alana stripped of her towel and happily put her body on exhibition. Her bathing suit was a bright red and accentuated every inch of her curves. She handed Eva her towel which Eva gladly took and placed over her lap. Covering herself up some, she then placed her book on her lap and began reading.
Alana quickly headed into the water. She splashed around with a huge smile on her face. It's been a while since she could actually relax. The whole war thing has kept her on her toes recently and she felt as if she hadn't been able to relax.
Alana watched from a distance as Eva was leaning back with her eyes closed. If Alana didn't know Eva she would have probably assumed that Eva was sleeping, but the way Eva's fingers slid across the pages of her Braille book made Alana sure that Eva was probably in another world on another adventure.
Eva has her earphones in and was comfortably listening to the 1st Movement of Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven, while she read her book. Surprisingly she felt confident and not at all like she was being watched. Eva couldn't tell that Alana was watching her from a distance or that one of the guys who had walked in before the ladies was absolutely mesmerized by Eva.
Eva couldn't tell that his eyes were examining every inch of her skin like an expensive piece of art that was made to be admired. Or a sculpture that just took your breath away simply because of the impression it made on you.
She couldn't even tell that he was ignoring every other female in the vicinity just because he was way to spellbound to even look away from her.
Samael Zane
"Do you plan on getting in the pool or at you just going to stand there like an idiot gawking at her?" Calvin spoke with a smile.
The words of his best friend ran into one ear and out the other.
"Hello? Earth to Sammy." Calvin joked as he snapped his fingers in front of Samael's face.
Samael blinked a couple of times breaking the spell. He looked to his best friend and frowned.
"Why are you still here? I thought you were going to hit on the chicks as soon as we came in." Samael commented with distaste as he placed his towel on a chair and sat down.
"I was until my best friend lost his damn mind. Gawking at someone who is napping."
"I wasn't gawking and she isn't napping. She is reading. Look at the way her fingers slide across the book. She is definitely reading."
"Whoa... who are you? The King of Vampires is lovestruck. My oh my how the mighty have fallen."
"Okay, first of all, I'm not the King. Father hasn't stepped down just yet and Two, I'm not lovestruck. I'm just admiring how good looking she is." Samael spoke with a hint of a smile as he shot another glance at the woman pretending to nap.
"Just go over there and talk to her, what's the worst that could happen?"
"Could you just shut your mouth and go hit on the girls?" Samael muttered as he leaned back and once again looked at her.
"I will when you get your ass over there and talk to her." Calvin smirked as he deliberately stood between Sam and his view of the woman.
Samael looked up at Calvin and frowned.
"Your father wasn't a glassmaker. You aren't see through. Move out of the way."
"You know you usually aren't so aggressive." Calvin taunted.
"You know you usually aren't so annoying." Samael spit back.
Calvin laughed but placed his hands up in a surrendering motion. He took a step back.
"Fine, sit here and be miserable. I'm going to go hit on her." Calvin smirked as he started to walk around the pool headed towards the woman.
Before Calvin even knew what had happened, he was underwater. As he rose up from underneath the water he looked around looking for the culprit who had pushed him into the pool.
When he turned he watched as Samael ignored him and continued to walk towards the woman who attracted him so much.
Calvin laughed and decided he had annoyed the prince enough. He turned and that was when Calvin noticed the babe in the bright red bathing suit.

The Archaic Elements
A fantasy world, its own unique power-up system, some mystery aspects to make it look interesting and an MC that should make sense but well messes up, cause plot. Flashy fights. Characters will use their brain, unless it is an arrogant young master that needs to be taught a lesson. The starting is slow and maybe boring. The main MC does not desire great strength or harbor any great ambition. He starts out as a naive, lazy and a boring person. But the story does hold one aspect which will fuel the growth of our MC, which is his boundless curiosity for adventure and his will to explore. The second MC is a reincarnation/transmigration and he has a clear cut aim that he needs to achieve. His past life experiences also becomes a pillar that will help guide the main MC, while his friend also supports him. The writing is slow and steady. I will provide reasonings behind most happenings and keep it a logical story. It's a WIP as I edit the previous chapters even as I release more, so while the content doesn't change, the style and smoothness improve. The current release rate is 3 chapter/week. There is no specific date as I can get sidetracked or forgetful., but I will try to stick to Tues, Thurs and Sunday releases.

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.

Unknown Fate's End
The ancient's believed that a man's fate or destiny is written already, and that only God or maybe the Gods could change it. If they did change it, it was believed it was for a purpose unknown to that man or for maybe for the ammusement of those higher beings. However, whether that is true or not, one thing is for certain. Changing a man's fate will create a ripple of changes. Join our hero, who whether by luck, by some divine intervention, or by his own choice, separated from the fate that he shared with his fellow earthlings. Watch him struggle in his new world. Watch him grow. Watch him learn. Watch him walk a path oustside what destiny has for him. FYI: The magic concept in this story is high fantasy with involvement of polytheistic religions and demons. There will be a mix of GameLit style writing mixed with traditional magic novel style writing. The plot developement will be slow in the first volume, as I will focus on world building and character building. The main character will not be OP immediately and will develop into one in his own way over time. This series is built less like modern Japanese, Korean, and Chinese webnovels and more like the old school fanstasy novels like DND and Forgotten Realms.
