A booty dress only just covering her rear end was worn and it was looser than usual for her. It was late and the dark skies held a hint of hope. She was happy to go out and do stuff. As her door closed and she walked down the hall a click alerted her to another person being there.

"Oh, hi. Thia, or Aletheia?" She nodded and gave a fake curtsy, fearing a flash as her dress was short and so the man continued to talk for a little while but another joined a moment later. It was none other than John and then Tyler.

"Sorry. Scotty was taking longer than either of us expected. Where are you off to then?" The question hung until she processed it in a moment.

"I need to clear my head. Get hella drunk and wake up with a banging headache and not knowing where I am. Perhaps not even knowing who with." She wiggled her bare shoulders earning suggestive looks from the three men. She smiled before taking a short breath and just saying it.

"You can come if you want. The club is about a two minutes walk away. No roads to cross." They looked at each other and entered the flat. As a mischievous John stood outside. He kept a quiet and low profile but Aletheia was led into a false sense of security.

"So, when are you going to ask me out? I am high class. The club doesn't count. Perhaps we could go for a romantic walk. I mean, I am above you. I mean, you would be punching with me but you need a challenge. Maybe, I can be that challenge." When she gave an unsure face he took a hand and let his other hand move to her hip as he began to dance with her. He wasn't smooth but she could avoid his feet and so that was all the pair needed.

As the others walked out laughs and many comments were made. John swore at them but tried to continue until Jaren made an odd comment about being left out and so he began to try dancing with John, who blew him off. The group just watched as pleading eyes met them. Eventually, John was pried from Thia and they all followed the woman to the club. Once in they all seemed to get a little lost and separated from one another. In the hot room bodies mingled.

Bottles were opened and alcohol hung all too heavy. The room was completely full for them all. Even the tables were surrounded by people. The music held a heavy beat but with all her might Aletheia only had one of the bottles of alcohol. She felt too scared to have much more. She may be trampled or worse. She had seen cases of it getting even worse. It was part of the job. As she covered the top of the bottle with her thumb and danced a set of arms wrapped around her. She had been dancing with a number of people for a while but she wasn't sure why they did it.

As she turned a familiar face hit her and she smiled. Dancing with him and feeling the sip of alcohol taking control. She smiled and felt her guard slip and his hands moved down to pull her closer. He was acting protectively and kindly. Thia was sad and for her, their hold on her and their dancing was a release. Letting go and feeling all sorts of self-control slipping. Her job meant she had to be emotionally hard at all times but for a break, she had to really let go.

As the music was lost from her ears all she could see was him. Jaren was dancing with her and she loved it. He had gotten lost in the crowd but he was with her again. He had a soft nose and large lips. Had she not been recovering from a long ass relationship she would have kissed him but drunken and sudden rebounds wouldn't end well for the pair. She carried on and pulled up with him getting closer. Soon though the bottle was empty and he took it from her, placing it on a surface.

When Aletheia woke up she was in the same dress and her breath stank. She had made it into her bed, Jaren had to keep her hand perfectly still. She laughed as he leant over her to do it. The whole situation was funny and their slightly tipsy state made it funnier. The boys were all next door and so she set about getting ready. Washing, dressing and most importantly, brushing her teeth. When she had almost finished, only a little highlight left, her phone buzzed.

"Miah, I quit yesterday. I no longer work for that shitty place. Send my love to the family. I won't miss all of you. I'll mainly Laura. Bye." No response could have come as the phone was hung up and Thia finished the makeup. Ready for the first client. Her phone was rung and she spoke shortly before leaving and going to the reception.

"Hello, I haven't seen you in so long. I am glad you have had no legal issues but I hope you are well." The elderly man was nothing major but she loved him. He was kindness itself. As she passed her neighbour he gave a smile and she held a laugh. The night was well spent dancing. Wearing next to nothing and getting tipsy.

Until twelve all of the meetings were held. A few worth thousands and millions. She was professional but when she had the very last meeting and she said goodbye he had left his room again.

"You said twelve and you didn't lie. Now, can I ask you to come over?" Aletheia smiled with a nod. She locked up and moved to the flat beside her own. He made her happy as he was so carefree but he also paid close attention to the little things, if he wanted to.

When they entered Tyler was seen to be in a twerk type stance but it was all wrong. The booty hardly moved. Aletheia watched him struggle and laughs carry on before she got involved.

"Stop doing midget squats. Move your hips not thighs. Well, move both but focus on the hips." He stood up straight and shook his head to challenge.

"What do you know? If you are so good, I beg you to twerk for us." She shrugged and took his place on the mat. She smiled before twerking and Tyler let his jaw drop. He let a whoop and cheer escape.

"Again." She laughed thinking it to be a funny joke but when they pushed her back she told them only quickly. As she did so the trousers she had been wearing highlighted the booty.

"Shake a little something on the floor." Anthony laughed and sang as she did it for a few seconds. The song was catching and so as Anthony and John joined Tyler in giving it ago, Aletheia joined in.

"Gonna get rowdy, yeah." The song was a laugh alone but it was in time with the butts and so it was perfect. It turned out Jaren had filmed it all and wanted to post it on his Instagram.

"No. Lilly loves you and if she sees that I am here. Without telling her I live next door to Smii7y. She wouldn't talk to me for a full-on month." He reluctantly agreed to not post it and the persuasion on how her career could take a tumble was a massive help. Not long after though Aletheia felt her phone ring and she quickly answered it.

"Hey. Yeah. Please don't. All right. I will be in my flat. Bye. Yeah, I know." She sighed and turned to the man beside her. When he had asked if it was a client she disagreed but she then just left. No explanation.

Her door was knocked on and she answered in a moment or two. A smile graced her lips as she greeted the man. She knew it was all wrong but she loved him.

"Hey, Will. Come take a seat." He did just that and they sat on the sofa. He pulled at her in his usual way and she complied by moving to his side. They were seated in silence as they waited for the other person to speak. Aletheia was certain in her belief of him having to talk so they waited.

"Where were you when I phoned you? I was hardly able to hear over the noise." She gave a vague answer about a friend and he left it there. She was not about to force any sort of relationship or conversation with him. It was his mess to clean.

"I left Alison. I also told her husband. What I did to you and him was wrong. I mean, he was furious but I explained that I wanted it over and he came to an understanding. We are never going to be friends though. I have done damage to their marriage. Look, can you tell me what hurts most?" With a world of thought, she finally came to a definite sort of conclusion.

"You proposed to me while getting freaky with her. You were willing to enter our own marriage with cheating and yet you were so accusatory of me. I spoke to Mike too much and I was already birthing his kid. I mean, you hurt me. Not only that but you had no guts to tell me. Still now you act like I am in the wrong. You get angry at me. I left you to protect me. Imagine if this was a case. You and I know we would both be on my side here." He was forced to think about it and so he realised her words were right.

"I know that what I did was wrong." He spoke and she cut in short.

"You won't even say sorry." He held a breath and looked down and to the left as he gave an apology.

"I am a lawyer. A fucking lawyer and have been in training for what? Three years bar a few months. I know when I am being lied to but you think you can get around that. All of your body language told me that was a big old lie. Fuck off. " With that, she stood and opened the door. He left with no form of an apology or any goodbye. Even after she had given him one. After that, she just sat at the table with a partially drunk coffee and also a glum look on her face.
