"You going to be alright with me gone for a couple of days?" Adrian drew a circle on Brody's bare chest as they were lying down together in bed.

"Of course I'll be fine." Brody told him as laughed at Adrian's dramatics, "It will only be until Friday, and I'm sure we can manage without seeing each other for roughly 4 days."

The plan for the week was to drive down to Alex's wedding tomorrow, and stay the night for a farewell lunch to the happy couple.

The rest of the week was about spending time with Adrian's kinder grandparents, Abraham and June. Given that they were going away for Christmas, this was the last big gathering Sally had with her family before the year ended.

"I need to ask you for a big favour." Adrian looked up at Brody and waited to see that he was listening. "This is kind of a big step, but could you look after Ollie for the week?"

"Huh?"

"It's not like we can take Ollie with us for the whole week, and our plans for him fell through at the last minute." Adrian explained.

Whilst they were away, Ollie was going to stay at a highly approved doggy daycare centre. That was until they were fully booked, and Adrian didn't have anywhere else he could turn to.

Brody wanted to ask for more information about the little arrangement they were making. "Hmm, so how would this all work exactly?"

Adrian listed out a series of things that were important when looking after Ollie. "Nothing major, just go in and make sure he has enough food and water in his bowls. The occasional walk wouldn't hurt, and Ollie would really love the company - you know he doesn't like being lonely. And there's also making sure he doesn't crap anywhere inside. Oh, and make sure we don't get robbed or anything."

"That's a long list of demands," Brody laughed as he discovered that he was being fitted into being a house sitter as well as a dog sitter, "And how do I get in and do all of this exactly?"

Adrian suddenly remembered and rolled over in the bed, reaching towards the bedside table. "A spare key."

Brody looked at the metallic object that was placed in his hand. "And you're trusting a guy you've known for less than 3 months to do all of those things, and you're not worried I might steal shit or anything?"

"I really doubt that you've been playing the long game to hustle my family out of all of their possessions," Adrian joked. "Besides, if you really wanted anything, then you could have just asked."

"Oh really?" Brody's ears perked after hearing that, he began to tease Adrian as he started whispering him things.

Adrian playfully shoved Brody after hearing the explicit things that Brody was whispering him. "All serious now, can you help me with this?"

Brody gave Adrian a mock salute as he put the key back on the bedside table. "Of course I will. I'm one handed but I'll just have to adapt."

Adrian pulled Brody into a deep and meaningful kiss, graciously thanking his boyfriend for his help.

"You're the best."

Adrian gingerly skimmed Brody's thigh as he slowly used his fingers to walk up his muscular legs. "Given that I won't be around to be your butler starting tomorrow, what do you say about me giving you a little farewell present?"

Brody cheekily grinned as he felt Adrian place his hand on his groin. Things got more heated when Adrian helped slide Brody's underwear completely off, as he started to play with Brody Jr.

"Mmm, I kind of like the idea of you going away now."

"Adrian, hurry up! We're going to be late!" Sally yelled from downstairs as she was waiting with her sister.

"Be there in a minute!" Adrian shouted back as he took his time to style his hair.

"Boys..." Sally sighed.

The sound of the door opening alerted Ollie, who had ran towards Brody after he let himself in with the spare key Adrian gave him.

Brody closed the door as he knelt down in front of him, using his only good hand to pet Ollie. "Hey buddy, how you doing?"

With a few kisses and cuddles, Ollie had ran back to his bed after he was given affection.

Brody walked into the living room and saw the pair of sisters in their wedding outfit. "Ladies, you look amazing." Brody charmed as he gave them a peck on the cheek.

Susie was comparing which shoes would go well with her blue sequins dress, while Sally was debating whether to add the matching hat to her mint green dress.

"No hat, and I wouldn't go with the open toe shoes." Brody advised.

"Thanks sweetie." Sally said as they both listened to his advise. "I didn't expect to see you until we got back."

"I couldn't let you guys leave without saying goodbye now could I?" Brody laughed as he laid out the flattery. "Are you sure you're okay with me watching the house? I know Adrian said he was okay with it but..."

Sally waved Brody's doubts away as she put her jacket on, "Yes sweetie, I know I can trust you."

Brody smiled discreetly after hearing that he earned the trust of his boyfriend's mother. It made him feel relieved that he knew he was doing everything right with Adrian.

"That nephew of mine really does like to take his time to get ready." Susie pointed out as she looked at the watch on her wrist.

The pit-a-pat of footsteps from upstairs soon quietened down as Adrian descended the staircase in his suit. Adrian was dressed in a classic white button up shirt, with a black tie and blazer that made up his outfit. He was wearing matching shoes that completed it all, and every hair on his head was neatly positioned.

Adrian was stopped in his tracks as they were all now staring at him. Looking at them quizzically, "What?" Adrian asked innocently.

Sally looked at her son so proudly, so fond of the young man he shaped up to be. "Sweetie..."

"So handsome." Susie added as she took a photo of a suited up Adrian.

Brody was left speechless as he forgot to breathe when his eyes landed on seeing his boyfriend in a suit for the first time. His heart was beating rapidly at the sight of Adrian in front of him.

Adrian took Brody's silence as a sign of concern. "Do I look okay? Did I overdo it? Did I under-do it?"

Brody was struggling to come up with words to use. "You look, umm, you look-"

"I have another suit I can try, I need another 5 minutes!" Adrian declared as he turned to make his way back upstairs.

Brody grabbed Adrian's hand and pulled him back from leaving him. He was whispering to Adrian as if they were the only ones in the room.

"Perfect, you look perfect." Brody expressed as his gaze was still on the perfectly dressed Adrian.

Adrian looked away from Brody as he started to blush slightly. "Thanks. You know you didn't have to come today."

"Believe me, I wouldn't have missed this for the world." Brody squeezed Adrian's hand as he stared at the perfection in front of him.

"Shut up you sap." Adrian joked as his laughter brought the attention of everyone else in the room.

Sally clapped her hands as she announced, "Quick, let's take a picture before we go."

Adrian turned away from Brody slightly to address his mom. "Mom, I don't think Brody wants us to take a picture together." He laughed.

"I actually meant us 3." Sally awkwardly admitted.

Turning away from the embarrassment, he quietly apologised as he stood next to his mom and aunt.

Brody took a hold of the camera phone as he directed the photo shoot. "Big smiles, and cheese..."

After approving the photo that was taken, Sally took the camera and pushed Adrian towards Brody. "Now you boys!"

"I thought I wasn't going to be in it? I'm not exactly dressed for the occasion." Standing next to his suited up boyfriend in a comfortable sweatshirt was going to make him stand out like a sore thumb.

"Nonsense, quick now. We really do have to leave." Sally pushed them closer as she directed the next photo.

Standing side by side, Brody wrapped his good arm around Adrian's waist so he could pull him closer. Smiling at the camera, the boys briefly separated before they glanced at each other again.

"Adrian honey, you're going to have fight off every girl that tries to come and talk to you," Susie joked as she admired the photos again. "You'll be the most handsome boy in the room."

"Without a doubt." Brody whispered without missing a beat.

Adrian turned away from Brody briefly so he could talk to his aunt. "Auntie I'm not going to be chasing anyone at the wedding."

"Why not? I'm sure there will be plenty of available young girls at the wedding that you're bound to fancy."

A knowing smirk was met on Brody's and Sally's face, as Adrian began laughing to himself quietly. "Auntie, I'm already taken. The bachelor life is long gone."

The gasp, because of the unheard news, was ignored as Brody turned Adrian's chin to face him again.

"I'm going to make an honest man out of you someday." Brody declared, as he went in to passionately kiss Adrian.

The sound of the camera going off again was blocked out, as the only care in the world that Adrian had was currently kissing him.

They had pulled back slightly so that they could then lovingly gaze at each other, resting their heads against each other.

"Love you." Brody mouthed, with the sweetest smile etched onto his lips.

Adrian smiled back at Brody as he mouthed the same words. "Love you too."

Susie's jaw was still dropped as she looked at them both. "Wait, you two are a couple?!"
