It's not that I hadn't thought of Vina and I's future together because I had. But it was merely a thought. I had never said it out loud and neither had she. It was honestly shocking that it had been a thought in the first place, but Vina naturally brings that side out of me—among others.
She's truthfully the first person I've thoroughly committed to. I've never been good at committing or communicating, but with Vina, I found a way.
I found a way to do a lot of things for her.
I could see Vina's body tense and her face fall slightly when she realized what she said. I felt bad for standing there silently with my head tilted in thought. I just naturally reacted that way. Even if it had been a thought, I had never sat there and fully contemplated it.
If I couldn't commit to a future with Vina then I couldn't commit to anyone. Even I knew that.
After what felt like a long silence—even if it was very brief—I felt like I should say something and I sort of felt like Vina was waiting for more of a reaction.
"I'll find a way," I said, my brows rising at my lowered quiet tone. Apparently, Vina noticed too since her face fell further. I felt extremely bad but I didn't know what to say or how to have this conversation. I had never had it before or even planned to have it with anyone, to begin with.
Dinner consisted of us both being engrossed in eating our food. I prepared Vina's favorite—Italian. I made Risotto with homemade cheesy bread on the side. Our forks clinked against our plates as we ate, drinking wine at certain times. I felt the urge to say something, but then I would get these weird butterflies in my stomach—nervous that I would say something wrong and ruin the night.
Then again, I might've already ruined the night, the moment I reacted weirdly to what Vina said prior to this.
Eventually, we finished our food—half of the wine being gone. I felt like I was put in such an awkward position. Or maybe I was defining it as that when in reality, it wasn't. All I had to do was communicate. Like we promised.
When I came to the realization of the promise we made, I immediately cleared my throat, forcing myself to act on the promise. The sound I made easily interrupted the silence and earned Vina's full attention, which somehow made me grow more nervous.
"I've thought about it," I said, hesitation clear in my tone. I noticed Vina was confused by the way her eyebrows furrowed, her plump lips pursing into a line. "About our future."
Vina's brows raised, her body relaxing slightly—making me feel even worse. My reaction probably put her on edge. Knowing how selfless she is, she probably thought she ruined the night by saying what she said—when that was far from what happened.

"I'm sorry for not saying something sooner," I said, my face softening. "I just... I have thought about it—but it still somehow caught me off guard when you mentioned it."
"I know..." she said, trailing off. "I shouldn't have said it to begin with."
I shook my head, not because I felt forced, but because I genuinely disagreed. "Vi, I just need you to know how new this all is for me. Commitment, communication—just dating in general and being completely present. It's all entirely new, so I really need you to bare with me. I might mess things up at times but I promise that I'm really trying with you."
Vina smiled slightly, her cheeks flushing in an adoring tinted pink. "That's all that matters. That you're trying."
I could tell she meant what she said. That she wasn't just saying it to make me feel better or make this work. She had genuine patience for me—for us.
"You mean a lot to me, Vi. Seriously there's no one else I'd rather do this with but you. And I'm completely aware of this—it's just sometimes I fuck up or make a mistake," I said, and Vina instantly reached her hand out to hold mine on top of the table. "But I just... I don't want that to ruin our future."
Vina shook her head firmly. "It won't. Now that I know all of this—I'll make sure to have more patience," she said, her tone so soft and assuring. She suddenly laughed, "I can't even believe we're discussing our future so seriously right now—We just met during Thanksgiving and it's only January."
"It sounds insane doesn't it?" I said, laughing with her.
Vina shrugged, a big smile on her beautiful face. "I guess you just bring it out of me."
My heart leaped in my chest. The realization fell over me at how we're willingly moving at such a fast pace. "The right always ones do," I unintentionally said aloud, processing my thoughts and feelings.
Vina's brows raised—probably due to how serious my tone sounded and the thoughtful look on my face. I didn't mean to say it so bluntly like that, it was just what I was genuinely thinking.
I admired Vina's face—her chocolate brown eyes, how her sharp jawline emphasized her high cheekbones, the way her plump lips sat perfectly under her small curved nose—she was absolutely flawless in every way. What truly made her beautiful was how her exterior matched her interior. She was so kind and always wanted the best for other people.
I felt lighter now that we've had this talk and I've come to a full realization. I liked knowing we were on the same page.
"Vi, I want you right now," I pushed my plate and utensils away, Vina's brows raising in the process. "Right here," I said motioning to the table in front of me.

Vina's face flushed a light pink, rising from her spot across from me and walking over to my side. I raked my eyes over her body, taking in her perfect curves.
Arousal shot through my body like lightning when Vina straddled her legs over me, sitting on the table before me. "Right here?" she asked, her tone teasing.
Not being able to resist, I slid my hands up her thighs, squeezing them gently. Her eyes fluttered shut when I slid my hands further up her body—gliding up her stomach, briefly cupping her breasts, and finally stopping at her shoulders.
"May I?" I asked, pulling slightly at the collar of her jumpsuit.
When Vina nodded, I started tugging the material down—first exposing her arms, then her blush pink bralette and toned stomach, before lastly pulling the black material down and off her long legs.
Vina let out a soft moan when I began rubbing circles around her now-hardened nipples. I loved watching her body as she responded to my delicate touch.
I unhooked her bralette, growing more and more impatient. The article of clothing got flung across the room before I attached my lips to her breasts—sucking gently on one while my hand played with the other.
Vina arched completely into me, earning a hungry groan from me. "Fuck, Vi," I said, my patience wearing thin.
A string of moans left Vina's lips and echoed throughout the room when I trailed kisses down her stomach, toward her sex. I pulled her lacy underwear down and off her legs, admiring her fully. I placed delicate kisses around her slit, teasing her slightly—which easily earned a frustrated whimper from her.
"Cay," Vina whispered impatiently.
"Yes?" I asked, still placing delicate kisses on her skin. I felt Vina's thighs tense under me, her hands now resting on my shoulders as she let out another whimper. "All you have to do is say it baby."
Vina arched further into me. "Please..." she dragged out breathlessly. "Fuck me, Cayden."
It was like a switch flipped—I was already impatient enough but hearing those words leave Vina's lips only encouraged me further. I spread her thighs apart further, pulling her further toward me at an angle before using my tongue to draw circles around her clit.
Vina's nails dug into my shoulder as I picked up my speed. I sucked gently on her clit while flicking my tongue against it, Vina's body easily trembling under me. She threw her head back fully leaning into me, and I could tell she was reaching closer and closer to the edge.
"Don't cum until I say so."
Vina whimpered her body retreating away from my touch at the command. I pulled her deeper and further into me, slipping my tongue inside of her. A loud moan left Vina's lips as I thrusted my tongue in and out of her.
With each thrust, I felt Vina tighten further and further around me, desperate for release.
I pulled away from her, standing from my chair slightly. Vina's eyes fluttered open as I leaned into her, brushing my lips against hers. When my fingers easily found her wet slit again, a low gasp left her lips—followed by a moan when I slid into her perfectly and seamlessly.
I watched as Vina's beautiful brown eyes fluttered closed. "Look at me baby," I said, missing her attention.
When Vina opened her eyes again, I smirked, satisfaction washing over me. I loved how there was never hesitation on her end—how she was so immediate when I asked something of her.
"Grind against me," I said, my tone low as I continued to thrust my fingers in and out of her. When Vina began slowly grinding against me, I slowed my pace down to match hers. "Good girl—just like that."
Vina moaned. "Cayden..."
I felt her tighten around me fully and I knew exactly what she was trying to say. "I know baby," I said, nodding as her eyes held mine. "You can cum for me."
As if Vina had been waiting for ages, she tugged me closer to her, spreading her legs further as her body shook with uncontrollable pleasure. I watched as her body came down from the high of release, continuing to thrust in and out of her at a gentle pace.
I tilted her at a further angle, speeding my pace back up with long strokes. Vina clung to me tighter as I pressed my lips to hers. Her body shook completely with trembles as I pushed her back up to another climax.
Her body tensed fully under me, breathless moans leaving Vina's lips. "Cay—oh my god Cayden," Vina moaned, her body arching harshly into me as she basked in her second orgasm.
Once she fully came down from her intense orgasm, I slid out of her slowly and gently. She tensed slightly due to her sensitivity but easily recovered.
"Wow," she breathed out, her body relaxing and going limp.
I chuckled as she leaned into me. "I did a number on you, didn't I?"
Vina laughed. "Definitely."
I nuzzled in further to her warm body, enjoying this beautiful moment. Our breathing fell in sync as our bodies relaxed against each other. I couldn't believe I fucked her before we could fully clean everything up and get home—but that's just the effect Vina had on me.
Then again, Vina had numerous effects on me without even trying.
How do you guys feel about Cayden communicating with Vina? Do you think they're moving too fast? Let me know your thoughts on everything:)
