was written above the elevator button panel, indicating that Cayden took me to her office building, something she had never done. I couldn't help but look at her, a big grin plastered on my face.

"Cayden..." I trailed off, not knowing exactly what to say. I feel like this moment is weirdly intimate even if it's only her office building.

A playful smile appeared on her lips. "Yes?" Cayden asked, acting completely oblivious to what was happening even if she was completely aware. She pressed the highest floor, the number 55 lighting up with a white glow—while I stood there dumbstruck and completely speechless.

As the elevator jolted up to the highest floor, my stomach filled with excited butterflies. What did this mean for us? What did this mean for her? Was this as big of a deal for her as it was for me?

"This is your... company's office," I said, causing Cayden to nod like it was obvious—which it was. "Why did you take me here?" I asked, hoping for more clarification on where she was at mentally and if this meant a lot to her.

Cayden smiled, the elevator dinging as the gold doors slid open, "I brought you here because my company means a lot to me..." she trailed off guiding us off the large elevator. "And so do you."

My heart grew warm at her statement while my brows raised—admiring the interior design. The floors and walls were a stone grey, red lighting illuminating the edges of the walls and floors while black light fixtures hung down emitting dim lighting. There was a large black sectional couch with a huge furry black rug underneath it. Some red throw pillows were on the couch while a low glass table sat in front of it.

Adjacent to the couch area was a long black front desk which allowed room for two people to sit. Inferno was written in bold red letters in a unique font behind the desk on the gray wall. The desk was completely empty, but I assumed the receptionists on this level occupied them. The offices were completely glass with black outlines, showing the interior of each well-kept office. As far as I could tell there were only four offices.

I admired the large black-outlined windows letting in the sunset glow and adding to the moodiness of the space. I couldn't imagine working somewhere so... laid back and visually satisfying. I'm sure Cayden's employees are very happy, and I'm almost positive the other floors below this are just as nice, keeping up the same theme.

"No one is in the office—as you can see," she said, motioning around. "But on this floor, I have a chosen four, who work with me closely to ensure my brand's success. Anyone on the other levels has smaller tasks compared to them, but they still contribute a great deal."

I met Cayden's dark eyes that were already on me, gauging my reaction. "Wow—this is wow, Cayden."

Cayden smiled, "So you like it?"

"Are you insane? I love it," I said. "I might be coming to work with you every day now."

Cayden chuckled. "While I wouldn't mind that—you'd definitely be a distraction," she said, her tone light and teasing. "I wouldn't get any work done."

I laughed with a nod as she led me down the long hall, passing by the glass offices that were only illuminated by the lighting flooding in from the halls and main area. Her hand remained pressed against the small of my back as we walked closer and closer to the tall black double doors that led to the only office without glass walls.

My stomach grew giddy with excitement, eager to see where Cayden spent the majority of her time. I always liked learning new things about her—it let me discover all sides of her. And this seemed like one of the bigger sides to her. Whenever she wasn't fully present with me, she was doing something relating to work—replying to emails, making new designs, figuring out marketing or photoshoots. Her work was a big part of her life, and I was thankful that she was willing to share that with me.

When she opened the double doors fully, I sucked in a breath. Her office was huge, yet somehow it still felt cozy. To the left of the large open room was a black sectional couch—identical to the one out in the reception area—against the wall with the same furry black rug underneath it. There was an identical glass coffee table and the same red throw pillows, except these ones, had Dela Cruz stitched on them. Across from the sectional, in the middle of the room, was a long black rectangular conference table with red leather office chairs seated around it.

On the right side of the room sat Cayden's long black desk with a tall plush red office chair. Inferno was written on the gray wall behind the desk in the same font and color as it was out in the reception area. The same red led lighting outlined the edges of the walls and floors while dim ceiling lights added even more illumination to the large office. I can't help but notice the entire glass wall that holds the beautiful city of New York, the city more than busy beneath us.

Cayden's office was much more than beautiful. I honestly don't think there's a qualified word to describe it.

I silently walked over to her desk, noticing the shiny black iMac computer sitting on top with a matching Apple magic keyboard in front of it with a mouse alongside it. There were two framed pictures on either side of the computer. One is Cayden—who has such a big grin on her face it's almost contagious—wearing a black leather jacket with Inferno written in it's same red color and font on the back. Her back is to the camera and she's looking over her shoulder with the happiest expression on her face. The other picture is also of Cayden. She was sitting on a pile of clothing with a sketch pad and pencil in her hand while another pencil sat behind her ear. She looked like she was mid-laugh, sketching out her brand.

"This photo was taken while I was designing my brand—it's almost like a core memory," she said motioning to the photo where she was laughing. "And this was the first piece of clothing with my brand name on it," she said, motioning to the picture of her in the leather jacket, grinning.

I felt like I was seeing a much different side to Cayden—passionate, goofy, hardworking—and it was intriguing. It honestly made me want to learn more.

"You're just so beautiful," I said, admiring the photos of her. "I like seeing this side of you."

Cayden wrapped her arms around my waist, standing behind me as she nuzzled her face down into the crook of my neck. "I love you."

My heart swelled in my chest, a smile erupting on my face. Her tone was so soft and pure. "I love you too."

We stood there silently for a brief moment, enjoying each other's presence. Eventually, I turned around, desperate to see her face—to kiss her soft lips.

When I locked eyes with Cayden, I could easily see the passion burning behind them. I gently grabbed her shirt, gently pulling her further into me before I pressed my lips to hers.

I unintentionally let out a quiet moan—it was as if I hadn't kissed her in ages, but we both know that's not true. Cayden slid her arms around my waist, her tongue gently meeting mine as the kiss deepened. I squeezed her closer to me, wanting more—which Cayden easily picked up on. She slid her hands down to cup my ass before gently gripping the back of my thighs, lifting me up to sit on her desk.

The thought of her fucking me in her office turned me on even more. I wanted her more than ever.

When Cayden gently pulled away, a whimper vibrated in my throat. Her dark eyes stared deeply into mine as if she were contemplating something.

"While I really want to fuck you right now—I also had something else planned for you," she said, her voice low and raspy, her hands gently caressing the top of my thighs.

I frowned. "I can't even be mad at you for that."

Cayden chuckled, briefly kissing my pouty lips. "C'mon," she said, holding her hand out to help me off the desk.

After leaving Cayden's office with sexual frustration coursing my body, she led me back to the reception area before walking over to a black door I hadn't noticed before.

We walked up a short flight of stairs before another black door appeared in front of us. When Cayden opened the door, my jaw practically dropped.

We were on the roof, except there were glass walls surrounding us. The room was huge and airy. It almost reminded me of a greenhouse since the walls were made of numerous glass squares outlined in black.

This looked like a place her employees came to relax or take a break—there was a circle of giant black beanbags, fairy lights drooping down from the tall ceilings above us, a clear shelf that had drawers of different snacks with a tall shiny fridge beside it.

It was insane how much detail went into this. What made it better was the perfect view of the city, which I knew was still more than beautiful during the day.

My stomach did a flip when I noticed the two-person table set up in the middle of the large room. The table was black with matching plush chairs—covered plates sat on top of the table along with a shiny silver bucket that held a bottle of wine.

If we had been together longer, I would've assumed this could possibly be a proposal of some sort. That's how beautifully put together this all was.

I unintentionally walked closer to it in awe, Cayden's attention on me completely. When I made it to the table, I stared down at it, a big grin displaying on my face.

Cayden walked over to me. "Do you like it?"

I turned around to Cayden, my grin growing. "I love it," I said, pulling her into a brief hug before kissing her. "You always go above and beyond for me."

Cayden smiled fully, her accessorized teeth displaying. "I genuinely love seeing you happy, Vi. Seeing the look on your face and the initial shock you get is completely priceless."

I smiled feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. Cayden was quite literally perfect in my eyes and I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.

"Seriously you're the best, Cay," I said, gently pulling her closer to me. "I'm curious about how you'll keep exceeding the standards as years go by."

When I processed the sentence that just came out of my mouth, I froze slightly. I felt shocked that I said years, which insinuated that I intended to spend a long-long time with her or possibly our whole lives. I mean... I do. But we haven't had that discussion and we're pretty far from it.

Apparently, I wasn't the only one surprised by what I said because I easily noticed Cayden tilting her head. She definitely picked up on what I said.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my beautiful readers who celebrate it! I'm feeling beyond thankful for your support and love, which is why I'll be posting another chapter later tonight for you guys
