"When we went out you were blushing crazy. Why are you mad now ?" He grumbled in a confused tone as he kept trying to hold her hand but like always she would draw it away stubbornly.

After a silent breakfast and hundreds of stolen glances , Lexi declared that she needs to go shopping. He offered to go with, or imposed but it all resulted in the same thing: they went together. He eyed her carefully as she walked out of her room dressed in a simple summer dress. Her femininity, beauty , delicateness and care of Austin is taking him by surprise. Each time , it is like seeing her for the first time and his body heats up for her. The dress hugged her rightly , not too tight and not too big. It hugged her curves and flowed to her knees. Not blinded anymore, he actually saw what his cousin meant by cuteness ...She may not stand out but she will surely steal hearts and breaths.

He wanted to drive them to any shop but she argued saying that Austin hates the car-seat. She then continued saying that she loves the little stores here and that he is not obliged to come with. Her loud mouth, got him to think of many ways to shut her; he would hug her, kiss her lips, mark her neck with a hickey , leave her breathless moaning only his name...

His darkening sea foam eyes and silent stance might have been a clue to what he is thinking. He heard her ordering him in a little cry to stop looking at her like that and then marched her way rapidly to the door with bright red cheeks. He laughed loud at her reactions. Unlike Cynthia or any of his past girls , Lexi seemed innocent and less adventurous in anything sexual. She acts like a scared kitten and pushes him away whenever things are heating up.

Through out their walk , she stayed silent yet surprisingly when he reached for her hand she did not yell at him. She allowed him to hold hers and intertwine their fingers. Laced together, he kept on noticing how soft her hand is, how she didn't wear any ring, how happy he felt doing one of the sappiest moves ever. He even felt a new kind of warmth developing in him and looking over at Alexa, seeing her looking down blushing made him feel free, happy , truly contented.

The trip to the shop was nothing out of the expected. They bought different stuff and he decided to buy Austin some toys to make up for the last eight-months of the boys life. He knew Austin would remember nothing but at least Blaze would try to do his best to care for him from now on. Taking Austin along with him, they left Alexa to grab the last of the items on her shopping list .

Meeting her at the register, he sensed a new coldness in her. She did not try to talk to him, just took Austin and placed him in his stroller. She handed all items for the man handling the register and Blaze could have sower that the man was too nice, too amiable , too friendly ...The man ended up giving Alexa a small paper with the shop's number saying that if she needs anything else he can drop it for her...Fuming with anger, blaze dropped his hand over Alexa's shoulder and thanked the man in hateful tone saying that he can handle all of his wife's needs.

"I am irritated by your manners." Alexa yelled facing him after placing a sleeping Austin in the other room so they won't wake him up. Both stood in the living-room two feet away and were seething with anger.

"What did I do?" Blaze questioned taken aback by her attitude

"Let's see , I am Blaze. I can flirt with any passer-by and even use Austin to do so but That is Alexa ; she is my wife. No one can be nice to her because I am stupidly jealous." she mocked in a deeper tone trying to mimic him

"I don't sound like that and that guy was too friendly..." He yelled taking a step towards her

"Oh, and the woman in the toy-aisle was not?" she mocked back

"She was just saying hi to Austin." Blaze defended

"And I am supposed to believe so ? I saw you checking out that bimbo...No, I cannot judge her like so. I don't even know her and yes she might have just said hi to Austin but you were ogling her. Still mentally undressing people aren't we?" She fought back without moving away

"I am not. You don't know what runs in my head!" He denied

"Yeah, because it is so hard to know what does into a mind of a player." she taunted

"I did not think of that woman in any sexual way." He once again insisted

"Yeah and I live on the moon." she bantered back

"Alexa, I swear to god that if you do not shut up and consider the words that I am saying then I am not blame for whatever I do." he warned taking a smaller step towards her and the stubborn girl did not move back. She stood her ground. Her eyes threw him nasty glares and her anger still showed.

"Hey my name is Blaze, Blaze Davis. Honestly, I deserve way better." she completed reminding him of how he introduced himself to the girl

"You deserve the world." he accorded feeling a bit guilty now "But you cannot doubt my words. I was not flirting. It might have sounded wrong but I promise you that I did not even try to talk to her."

"I am not buying that sugary talk.Why should I believe you?" she questioned still harshly eyeing him

"Because if you knew me, you would know that since you came out of your room dressed in that summer dress my world started to spin. Lexi , if I am thinking of any girl right then she is you. I considered how I can differently tear that dress off of you. I imagined how I will make to you since our kiss. My mind is filled with images of you only...I promise." he ended and his hands like always circled her waist bringing her chest to chest with him.

"Your laughs and hers filled the shop." Alexa still stubbornly fought

"Austin blew raspberries on her. He is a mama's boy and any other female that tries to make him laugh will get the same result." Blaze informed and a small smile drew its way on Alexa's lips

"He is." she accorded feeling her anger washing away a little

"He is also lucky to have you." Blaze sweetly commented

"He would be lucky to have his father around. I don't want growing up to know that both his parents did not want him. That he was also the reason behind your break-up. I can never accept your love if you don't love Austin...Call it selfishness but I have to take care of my kid. He matters most to me and I don't want to see him begging for your affection. It broke me how he used to try and get held by you but you will just look him and ignore his little cries...He is a good baby. He is not troublesome and at times I do truly believe that he gets what I am feeling...Hearing calling me mama, feeling how possessive he is of me makes me the happiest. I dreamed of adoption since I was little and Austin made me realize that my dreams were not silly but amazing." she exclaimed with a full smile , her tone way warmer and eyes shinning bright.

"Is it possible that I fall for you whenever that smart mouth of yours opens up. No matter of what your saying I just want to hold you, kiss you, love you..." Blaze hushed feeling his own cheeks heating up and reflecting the same blush of Alexa

"Were you always this sweet of a talker to all of your girls?" she questioned sounding fragile now and his heart picked a fast beat at her tone

"I never had the time to sweet talk them. My past was merely business, nothing else." He promised hugging her closer

"I truly am trying to believe each of your words." She promised and for the first-time her hands circled his waist returning the hug " My brain is saying that I can do better and should never risk my heart . But the latter is stupidly beating wildly for you."

"I will prove your brain wrong. I am going to mend your heart." he vowed kissing the top of her head

"Are you sure?" she mumbled light just to assure his answer

"I love you,Lexi." He confessed again making her feel giddy and blush even harder.

"I like you a lot , Blaze and sorry because I am not saying the same thing back.I am just ..." her words failed and a tear of confusion fell drawing its way on her right cheek

"It is okay. I will wait, forever." He affirmed

"Come." she order grabbing his hand and guiding him to her room "Lets lay in here for a little" she completed opening the door and leading him to her bed

"Lay with you?" he asked sounding like a little boy surprised like a kid who is given candy out of nowhere

"If you don't want to then it is totally okay." she informed back doubting the moment of courage that she had.

"It is more than okay. It is ..." he didn't continue fearing to sound like a creep or too desperate

"Just lay with me. I will go and change. So we can relax before they come" she repeated grabbing some shirt she had prepared earlier

"They?" he echoed feeling lost as he once again sat on her bed.

"Luca and your group. He wanted to accompany me from the start but I refused. To calm his protective side, I offered him to join me on the last weekend of my stay here and he accepted. The other day when I called him, he said that the girls won't allow him to come alone. They became good friends and all miss Austin and I so I said bring them with. Nina told Eric , after so, and I guess the whole group decided to join. I am not even sure where to place them. " she explained shaking her head

"Last weekend?" He continued asking

"Yeah, we are going back home on Monday..." She informed
