Standing here, the silence could never be louder. Why did it turn out like this? Weren't we happy together? Weren't we perfect for each other? What did we do wrong?

Usually, the moment you saw me, you would give me a tight hug, saying how much you missed me. But now, we weren't even close to each other. Two people could fit in our gap. Why is it like this?

Whenever we met up, you would always find an excuse to continue holding me. You would say that it's cold so you would be hugging me into your chest- just to keep me warm. You would hold my hand- saying that I could get lost easily in the crowd, even when there was none. But now, you didn't even say hi. What happened to us?

Do you know how much this kills me? To see this? To see us? I just want us to be happy. I just want us to be like what we were before. But why can't we?

As I stood here thinking these things, you finally dropped the bomb.

"Let's break up."

Is there someone else? Please tell me there isn't. Tell me what's wrong with me. I'll fix it. Please. Don't end this. Don't end us. Please.

"I still love you" the words barely coming out of my mouth as I struggled to stop the tears from streaming down.

I looked up, into your eyes, as if begging you to tell me you love me too. But all you did was look at me with your black eyes, heartlessly staring at me. As if our two years of relationship meant nothing.

As I started crying, you moved a little. I thought maybe you would come to comfort me, telling me it's a joke, but I stared at you in horror as you turned around, walking away from me. Leaving me forever.
