The words that came out of Sehers's mouth shocked Fakhr.

"what baby, princess?" he asked her daughter lovingly stroking her hair.

Seher placed a hand on her tummy and looked at Murad.

"How can anyone harm your baby when the mother is so strong" He replied.

Fakhr was clueless. "What is going on?" Fakhr looked at his wife who was crying.

"You can never change, You are going to be a grandfather" she whispered.

Fakhr had tears in his eyes.

"does Shazain know?" Murad asked Seher.

"NO, Please can you keep this a secret".

" Seher, did he do this to you?" Fakhr questioned Seher.

Seher was not prepared for this, his name gave her heartache.

"Christos.." All events flashed in front of her, She loved him dearly. even after he stabbed her she hoped that he would run after her but the moment she turned back and saw Ariana holding his hand, She knew that no matter what she will never be back with him. Her breathing became uneven.

"Uncle, please don't stimulate her, she is still very fragile. You go outside let her rest"

he turned to his assistant " Mahpare please give a teaspoon of yellow medication. it will ease her pain and sedate her"

Fakhr turned to his wife" I regret letting Seher go with Shazain, I regret not listening to you. I was successful as a king but I failed as a father to my daughter."

Shazain recalled each and every word.

"Please kill me if you want but let me see Seher once"

"What do you want to see if she alive or not"

"She is my life, If I could I will die and give her my life"

"Then why is She in this state Shazain?"

"She is in this state because of my foolishness"

Shazain told about King Christos and Ariana. Listening to everything Fakhruddin again leaped at Shazain.Fakhruddin was hitting him without any mercy. Blood came out of Shazain's mouth. His wound on his chest was not healed. Seeing Shazain's blood reminded him of Shazeb.

"Go away Shazain, I am bounded by my promise. just get away from my sight"

"Let me meet her once please" He was begging just like his father begged Nur Jahan years back.

Nur Jahan who was listening to all this came forward.

"Do you even know who saved you and protected you all these years?"

Fakhar tried stopping Nur Jahan.

"No Fakhr let me speak, he was blinded by hatred, couldn't see who guarded him all these years"

She went inside and came back with a dagger and a set of clothes. She threw clothes on Shazain's face.

" This man, father of your revenge wife protected you all these years, these are the clothes which you wore that day, and remember this dagger?"

Shazain just looking at everything, if he could have killed himself in shame then this was the moment.

" He promised your dying father that he will look after you. Why do you think you got away with kidnapping our daughter? Husband or not we would have killed the man who dare to touch our daughter. You were in no way worthy for our daughter that we would be happy with you being our son-in-law. He gave you his heart, his most beloved daughter for two reasons one you were Shazeb's son second he saw good in you.

If you have any bit of shame left in you just get out of our site and forget about Seher"

"Please forgive me, I can not live without her. let me see her once. Please"

Fakhruddin dragged him near the window. Seher was asleep Murad was sitting near her bed. The first time he was not angry at Murad's presence. Seher was lying lifeless on the bed"

"Look at her, her injury was deep a few inches it would have pierced her heart. are you satisfied now or regretting that she is alive"

"I would never wish her that, you don't know her meaning in my life"

"You know she did not mention the person who did this to her, I am not sure who is she protecting. Look at Murad, he is the perfect one for her. My first choice. If not for him she would be dead. Just leave Seher and let her find her happiness"

Fakhhruddin's words pierced Shazain's heart. He now understood what Seher might have felt seeing Ariana and him together.

"I know I am guilty but that doesn't mean I don't love her. No one can separate my wife from me. I will first avenge the person responsible for this."

"I don't care what you do, Just stay away from my daughter"

"I will be back in a few weeks' time, I am leaving my life with you" He looked at Seher, he wanted to hug her, but this was not the time, He wanted to make Christos and Ariana die the most painful death.

Nur Jahan slapped Shazain." Fakhr is bound by his promise, me and my sons are not. You just forget Seher and I don't think she would want to see you"

She asked guards"Please take Sultan Shazain away"

Shazain knew that this was no time to argue, He was confident that once Seher is better she will get back to him. All he had to do was to convince her.

After Shazain left Fakhr turned to Nur Jahan, "Hayath I don't think I have enough patience to see this man again. once our Seher is fine, we will talk about divorce"

Nur Jahan was taken back because she knew Fakhr was someone who believed in commitment but today looking at her daughter she felt his decision was right.

"First let Seher get better, Fakhr. I will agree to whatever is best for our daughter. Fakhr don't forget she is not alone"

"If you are talking about the child, It is my daughters. a man who did not care about his wife doesn't deserve it. It is best interest of my daughter that Shazain should be out of her life"

As a last resort Shazain sent a message to Abasi, Abasi came to visit him in secret.

No matter what Abasi was indebted to Shazain. Shazain never once disrespected Him or his family. More importantly, he maintained the secret about his mother. In the past, Abasi did betray Shazain but regretted it later.

Abasi's mother Amira was a princess from the middle east. She secretly married one of the princes of the neighboring kingdom, Her husband's brother cleverly sent him on the war. He did not find Amira worthy of his brother. Osama wanted to meet Amira before leaving but Altamash said that he will take care of the matter.

"Brother Osama your presence is needed in the war, If it was not for my wife's condition I would have gone myself. Don't worry about Amira I will personally send her a message and bring her to our kingdom"

Amira was already pregnant waiting for her husband to return and take her, Unaware her father offered Shazeb Amira's hand as a political alliance. Amira was in a big dilemma she tried contacting her husband Prince Osama many times but his evil brother Altamash made sure that there was no contact.

As a last resort Amira tried contacting Shazeb, He and his wife Afshan comforted her. Shazeb promised to contact Osama and bring him before news of pregnancy came out. Amira's father was very mad at her. Shazeb tried to console him. Altamash denied his brother's involvement with Amira and that he had nothing to do with Her. He doubted Amira's character. To help out Amira, Shazeb gave his name to her child, He promised that she will be treated and respected in his palace till her husband grows a backbone and come for her. Nobody knew Amira's secret except Afshan, Seema, Ahmed, and his mother.

Once back Osama was informed that Amria married someone else and moved on and he was being forced to marry his cousin. Osama went to Shazeb's palace and confronted Amira. He came to know about Amira's truth and was greatly indebted to Shazeb for looking after her and treating her with respect. He again told Amira to wait till he confront his brother Altamash. Their union on that day resulted in Amira's pregnancy.

This time Amira came was waiting with confidence that Osama will come . She sent him a message about her pregnancy. Osma wanted to be with his wife this time and take her far away along with his children. He was stuck due to danger to his mother like sister-in-law Imaan

. Amira was disappointed that Osama was not there to see his son but she received a letter from her husband to name her son Abasi, He was very sorry that due to a threat to his sister-in-law's life he was unable to make it on time. He told her to pack things, he and his sister-in-law Imaan will come and pick her up. amira was excited and was packing up to go with him. Sultan Shazeb was busy with his own problems, His ex-wife Nur Jahan was already married.

Just when Amira was waiting eagerly for Osama, News came that Osma was no more He died in an afire accident at the palace along with his sister-in-law Imaan. Amira was very heartbroken. Shazeb even though facing his own demons came to Amira after her son was born. He was a replica of his late father.

"Amira I am really sorry for Osama. You don't have to worry about Abasi. He is like my son. Shazain's little brother. I promise you that no one will raise questions on their legitimacy. Even if I am not there I promise that My son Shazain will treat them like his own siblings."

True to his father's promise Shazain looked after Amira and her children. Abasi was neglected by his grandmother Najma begum and Shazain was given all the importance. He was never considered as heir to the throne. He knew Uzbeiks and Shazain never got along That was the reason for his close friendship with Uzbeks. He also helped Jafar to plan against Shazain but when Amira came to know about that she slapped Abasi hard and told him about his father.

Abasi begged Shazain for forgiveness. Shazain forgave him in a blink of an eye.

"I know Abasi you are young and we do make mistakes but trust me I like you as my own sibling. There is nothing to apologize for."

"Why did you not tell me about my Father"

"Abasi, to the world Ummi Amira is my mother and I will not disrespect her or let anyone do that. Please keep this to yourself. Informing you was like tarnishing her image. I want you to maintain your distance. Let our enemies think we don't get along."

From then on to the world Shazain and Abasi did not get along but in secret, they shared a deep bond. He saw how Shazain's heart was melting because of Seher. He indirectly denied Seher to take her back to Shuja so that his brother can fix things with her.

When Abasi came Shazain was on his knees, begging him to give information on Seher's health.

"Please Abasi, Let me know How she is?"

"Why do care brother, tell me if it was you who stabbed her"

"Did she tell you that?"

"She did not mention anything, I think she was trying to save you. But it doesn't matter.

She was swinging between life and death. Murad said that she is sable for the moment."

"Nothing will happen to her" Shazain was convincing himself.

"I love her Abasi, only her, that Christos and Ariana played me well"

He told Abasi about everything that happened.

"You don't tell me that you harmed Seher because of that bitch Ariana"

"No, I planned a perfect punishment for Ariana, I told Seher to trust me but she disobeyed me"

" you did not give her any reason to trust you. You broke her heart by roaming around with Ariana. Flaunting your relationship with Ariana in front of her. You did not even care she was just a teen, way younger than you. This is the height of hypocrisy, Murad is her cousin, and taking his name drove you to extreme madness. In that case, Seher should have killed you."

Shazain knew that he did wrong, Guilt was consuming him.

" I thought you were very wise brother but your brain never worked around that Christos. All your life you hated queen Nur Jahan who in fact is a woman of high virtue."

"I regret everything I wanted to give Seher a peaceful environment where we can raise our family without any fear. I will rectify my mistakes. I need your help Abasi. enough of the cat and mouse game. King Christos was a king because of my help, first, let me make him stateless."

Take a message to Alexander, tell him Shazain is in his favor, tell him I will support him only if he makes sure Christos and his family are exiled and humiliated"

Alexander was Christos's cousin, he was waiting for an opportunity to dethrone Christos. Shazain was in his way.
