The maid who bumped into Shazain was an assassin, he recognized her instantly she had an uncanny resemblance to Zafar her dead uncle but pretended to ignore her. He captured the maid and when interrogated she did not blurt out anything. The woman was a tough nut to crack. she even tried killing herself.

It was early in the morning when Shazain interrogated her she blurted out the truth.

"You are a fool Sultan Shazain, You think you can live happily, never..... Shazain slapped her hard."

"What did I ever do to you, I know you were the one who shot the Arrow in the market"

"Do you think I will kill you, No I want you to suffer just like I did when you killed my father"

"Father?"

"Yes, Father"

"Zafar, You bastard my father Zafar"

"Your father deserved to die.You and your whole family are bastards"

"Throne belonged to my father but your evil grandmother snatched it and even after your father died she made you the king"

"She made me king because your father was not capable enough, are you not a product of his affair?"

"He wanted to marry my mom but you killed him, Oh sorry your savior killed him. Well, now your lover will die. It is two birds one-shot"

"What are you planning to do?" Shazain was screaming

"She was lucky that she escaped once but now she will die the moment she steps outside she will die..."

Shazain ran to his room to look for Seher, She was not there.

"Where is my wife" He screamed

"I saw queen Seher walking towards the garden"

Shazain was running like a maniac. He was very angry that Seher did not stay inside the palace when he made her promise in the morning. He ran to the garden screaming her name and saw Ariana with a wound and Seher with the dagger. He was angry at her for not listening to him. Their argument and Sehers handing her the dagger and pointing his hand on her chest. He did not even realize when she was stabbed. He could swear that he was not the one, someone took advantage of their argument and pushed him causing the dagger to plunge into Seher's heart.

The only thing he was afraid of was losing her and all his fears came true. Today he lost her forever the only woman he ever loved. The screaming the chaos around everything fell on deaf ears. He was immobile. the blood trail he saw was not Seher's blood, it was his soul leaving his body.

Utbah was shocked all their planning everything failed, He knew Shazain was not in a state to make a decision. He had to bring Shazain back out of shock.

"Shazain, don't react... Let everyone think Seher is not important to you."

"My Seher..."

"I will look for her, You just go. There are innocent people in the palace, before anything you are their king it is your duty to protect them"

Utbah held Shazain tightly. "Shazain, Look up there are sharpshooters, they just came to harm Seher, Please pretend that you don't care,"

"Please go after Seher " He pleaded to Utbah and went towards Ariana, Christos was worried for his daughter but deep inside he was happy that Seher was injured.

Royal Physicians were already as if waiting for Ariana. Shazain wanted to kill them both but he was helpless.

"The injury is not too deep, Princess Ariana will be up soon," The physician said.

"How come you are here in this palace?" Shazain asked the doctor.

He was stammering "My lord, it was a coincidence that I came here. "

"Lady Rabia is not here, I think he was godsent for Ariana" Christos added. Shazain turned to leave.

"Won't you stay till Ariana wakes up"

"If both of us stay, who will do the work,?" Shazain was very harsh.

"You took me in a wrong way Shazain, I am grateful that you did justice otherwise I would have killed Seher in anger"

"Your daughter has been avenged, You need not worry. You saved me once and now I saved your daughter's scores settled. I will do justice for everything" His voice was like a warning. he did not stay just walked away.

Shazain's biggest mistake was to bring Ariana and Christos back. Shazain slowly came to know that king Christos was a very greedy man after Seher first told him that she has doubts about Christos being his savior, he did investigate but it all lead to a dead end. When Christos and Ariana confronted Helana and Adrian his heart softened a bit. Christos pleaded with him at that time again convincing him that he was his Saviour.

"King Christos I now have doubts that you are really the man who saved me because the man who saved me was selfless. You and your family are nothing but deceptive. I have saved your economy from crashing down. Is it about money that you are worried about, I cannot ignore the fact that there is a possibility of your daughter's involvement in the plot to defame my wife?"

"Trust me Shazain I was the man who saved you, do remember I lifted you in my arms and brought you outside. you were mumbling your father's name. don't you remember what I said at that time?"

Shazain clearly remembered what that person said. He tried so many times to recall that voice but it was all so unclear with so much screaming inside.

Only his Grandma knew about what he remembered, this was a very intimate detail

"Shazain, your father was my close friend and when I visited you for the first time I promised to look after you. My situation forced me to seek your financial help but if you think I am lying I will take leave and never come back."

Shazain was once again all confused but he did not stop Christos at that time. He wanted to look into the matter himself. His grandmother said that King Christos was an ally to his late father but she was not aware of their close friendship as he had minimized contacts with her.

When he saw Ariana all tied up triggered all his memories. Christos said that someone is after Ariana's life as she was known to be his beloved. He did not think anything brought her to his place thinking he is returning the favor once king Christos did and by saving his daughter they don't owe anything to each other.

Shazain believed in each and every word Seher warned him about. He thought that It was Arianas obsession for him that made King Cristos stoop so low. When he begged him to Marry Ariana his doubts were confirmed.

The moment King Christos was screaming and instigating him to kill Seher, He knew that King Christos was determined to kill Seher and the sharpshooters were his men. All he wanted was to take Seher hostage and later rescue her. It was king Christos who pushed him.

Abasi and Shuja along with the maids were waiting for Seher. They saw Seher with the dagger in her chest.

"Seher....." Shuja screamed.

"What happened baby, Where is Shazain?" He was screaming.

"Brother just take me away from here".

Abasi was horrified seeing Seher, blood came out of her lips, He loves her not as a lover but as a friend

"Shuja let us get her out from here, Murad is there. If she is stabbed here that means she is not safe. Just take her"

Penelope came quickly, "do not take the dagger out, it will cause more bleeding"

Shuja lifted Seher and walked to the secret passage which Abasi showed them. Martha quickly put mud on the blood trail so that no one can follow them.

They all rushed out.

"Please queen, open your eyes" Penelope pleaded.

"Prince, we need to keep her awake," She said to Shuja and Abasi. her medicinal knowledge was coming to use. Shuja was running down the steep stairs holding Seher. Their carriage was ready at the bottom. He put Seher in the back of the carriage with Abasi, Martha, and Penelope and himself rode the carriage as fast as he could.

Abasi tried talking to Seher.

"Kiddo, who did this?"

"Noone, "Seher did not take Shazain's name. He must be taking care of his beloved she thought, she looked at the worried face of people around her.

"You know your father and mother are on their way?"

"How do you know?" She asked.

"you can confirm with Shuja". Seher was happy that she will meet her baba and Ummi.

"Abasi, what if I die? tell my parents I love them"

"you will not die Idiot, I will die along with you"

Abasi was keeping her awake.

"Why are you always with my brother?"

"because he is my family"

Seher was drowsy

"Shuja, drive faster" Shazain screamed.

"Hold on princess, we will be there."

"Abasi I cant"

"Seher, you have to see my wives, hold on for them " He was cracking silly jokes

"Wives really?"

"Yes, one of your choice"

"My Ummi will kill you"

They almost entered their territory

"We are almost there Princess, don't give up"

Poor Seher closed her eyes.
