Jake paled at the thought of his boyfriend thinking such high things of his gramps.

"Gramps is wack and never let him hear you say that. I don't know if you can come with me, you're still a celebrity.."

Marc laughed and shook his head.

"I don't mind, plus how can I refuse a chance to see you work out, get sweaty, or see you looking hot while training."

Jake was surprised by his straightforwardness but easily quipped back.

"Can you be my pretty cheerleader than?"

Marc paused before standing up and mocking a cheerleading movements.

"Give me a J! A! K! E! What's that spell?"

A voice from the other side of the park shouted.

"GET THE HELL OUT MY PARK!"

The two scurried away laughing as they went to Jake's grandpa's shop. When they walked in Jake was splashed with some potion. Marc was splashed with one as well and blinked before shouting in distress.

"No! This jacket is dry clean only!"

Gramps hummed and waved his hand.

"Gramps! What is wrong with you?"

"Making sure you are not under the siren control."

Marc glared and took off his jacket to hang.

"It's stigmas like that, that keep the sea people from land. I am a siren but not all of us take control of humans. Or people in general."

Jake wanted to say more but he was distracted seeing Marc in a tank top wet in potion and wanting to-Jake felt a sharp pain on his head and his Gramps handed him a mop.

"Mind stay out of gutter or you clean it!"

Jake sighed and went to do his 'training'. Lao Shi turned to the siren who had gotten close to his grandson.

"I have more than enough evidence from past to believe you are more than who you say you are. Most sea dwellers can't afford that sort of shells."

Marc sent a glare at Lao Shi before huffing.

"I'm here on official business of my kingdom, that should quell your questions."

Lao shi raised an eyebrow but said nothing more. Fu dog came in and smiled nervously.

"So, uh, mind giving a dog a autograph."

Marc groaned but pulled out the pen he always has on hand now a days. Fu dog squealed with happiness and helped fix Marc's jacket. Marc saw Jake come out and a bit drained.

"Gramps how does your bathroom even end up so trashed?"

Lao shi raised a cutting finger at Fu Dog who shrugged shamelessly. Jake growled but turned to Marc pityingly.

"Guess this wasn't the grueling training you wanted to watch."

Marc smiled understandingly.

"It's fine, I get the whole boring training part. Is this what you usually do for training overall?"

Jake paused and shook his head.

"This is like warm ups and stuff. Actual training takes place on the roof but today we won't be able to do anything with the amount of-"

"Trouble! Trouble in the docks! Jake there are some reports of monstrous activity there."

Jake sighed but transformed smoothly into a dragon. Jake turned to Marc.

"Wanna fly?"

Marc slid on easily.

"A bit forward don't you think? No wonder you're such a firecracker."

Jake blushed and was glad his scales hid them.

"Just see me in-"

"AI-YAH JUST GO!"

They went off and Marc whooped as they soared through the air.

"I've never experienced the ciel like this before!"

Jake swooped and did some flips to show off. Marc easily hung on and cheered him on.

"Que magnifiqué! Maybe another time you take me on a longer flight hmm?"

Jake nodded and they got to ground.

"Thank you for flying air Jake, make sure you grab all essential items like that pretty face."

Marc laughed and put his hand on his face.

"Oh no, I can't find it, mind helping?"

Jake patted his body and stopped at Marc's face.

"Oh, found it."

Marc grinned and was about to quip but a crash interrupted their moment.

"Oh, right, stay here, unless you got any other abilities I should know about?"

Marc shook his head.

"I'm pretty sure I can try to distract them for you, but that's as far as this form will take me."

Jake nodded and they went to see what was all the ruckus. In the center of the crashing crates was a eel-like creature. Screeching and shouting at things surrounding them. Marc was quick to get in front of the creature.

"It's alright, no one is here to..wait what?"

Marc was shoved to the wall and he turned to Jake wincing.

"Not a dweller of the sea, this is..dark magic."

Jake nodded and fought the creature.

"Don't you touch him again slimey!"

Jake was about to do more but he was shoved harshly into a box.

"Jeez! What is this guys problem?"

Marc hummed but the creature wasn't even a bit affected.

"I don't know, it's like, it's like it's not even real."

Jake made a face for him to quickly explain as he held it off.

"Most creatures no matter how strong, can be lulled by a hum or more from a siren. This thing reacts to sound, we've seen it, but it doesn't even get affected by my voice. Jake I think it's a set up or something."

Marc was cut off by the explosion that hit them both. There stood a robed mage and Pandarus.

"Ah, the American dragon! Just in time, your little friend almost gave away our plan. He should learn to keep his mouth shut. Get rid of him."

The dark mage sent a blast that knocked Marc into the water. Jake acted distressed at the sight, they didn't know Marc was a siren.

"NO! You messed with the wrong person!"

Jake was about to get up and fight but a Sphinx hair net was wrapped around him.

"Ah-ah, no pesky dragon powers to save you now. I needed you gone for this so, sorry to say we won't have you here for long. Say hi to your friend while you're down there, might be the last thing you could say!"

Jake was thrown over the docks into the water weights attached to the nets. He struggled for a bit before pausing when he felt movement next to him.
