He was actually feeling pretty weak and saw a whisp escape his mouth before pulling himself back in shock. Marc seemed to recoil as well and held a hand over his necklace.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I didn't want that to happen I-you should stay away from me.."
Jake panted trying to regain his energy.
"What was that?"
Marc looked away.
"Nothing a mere human can understand, just, stay away from me, I shouldn't have reached out to you-"
"What are you? Some soul sucking creature? You're not getting away with it."
Marc looked confusedly at Jake.
"Uh, no, Jake what are you talking about?"
Jake huffed and shook his head.
"You're just trying to trick me, well you can't trick the amdrag that easily!"
Jake turned into a Dragon right then and there. Marc was shocked before groaning.
"Ugh! I thought you were some human-I swear, did my parents put you up to this? God, I thought they would leave me alone here in the land!"
Jake was now confused.
"Your parents? Wha-look I'm not letting you do whatever your evil plan is so-"
"evil plan? I have no idea what you're talking about-"
Jake decided to send a fire blast at him. Marc dodged and growled eyes flashing black.
"Don't do something you're going to regret dragon. I have friends in high places."
Jake growled back. "
So do I."
He called Lynn at the same time Marc whistled something into his wrist. In a minutes a purple portal formed and Lynn popped out.
"Jake I got your message but my friend also called me- uh, hey Marc, what's the problem? Oh are you two working together?"
Lynn stood between the two and Jake paused before lifting her up.

"You know that..tempter!"
Lynn raised an eyebrow at him.
"Yeah, he's my friend Jake."
Marc also grabbed her pulling her away from Jake.
"You also know that lizard my parents sent?"
"Your parents didn't send him, and yeah. He's my special case I told you about."
It was a game of tug a war before Lynn held them back with her magic. "
Ok, first off, what's the problem? I'm not going with either of you until you explain."
Jake went first. "He's some soul sucking magical creature and he..well, he's really tempting and is trying to get to me through I dunno his prettiness."
Marc blushed a bit at that but turned away.
"First off, im a siren, so yeah, I take a bit of someone's energy but that's only so I can stay on land. Not like it hurts anyone. The front row fans have a lot of energy even after I take some."
Marc looked off to the side.
"And you're just some hot attractive dragon my parents sent to court me..right? No one can be that hot Lynn!"
Lynn paused and took a deep breath.
"You guys are a gay mess. Jake is the American dragon, he can't even be controlled by your parents due to legal stuff. Jake told me about going to a concert with trixie. So there's that, Val' is a stage name Marc uses to help raise awareness and money for the sea. It's a project that allows him up here on land and he's here to help the land dwellers treat it better."
Jake paused and then turned to Marc.
"..so you're helping your people?"
"And you are not working with my parents..you think I'm pretty?"

"You think I'm really hot?"
The two flushed and Lynn sighed at the mess they put themselves in. She created a portal to leave.
"If we're done here, also, Jake hurt him and I don't care what your destiny is, I will end you. Same goes for you Marc."
She left and Jake coughed before looking up at Marc.
"Uh, let's start over?"
Marc smiled and held out his hand.
"Marcus Valentín, just Marc for you."
"Jacob Long, Jake is fine."
The two laughed and ended up talking more about who they are.
"Why were you so worried your parents sent me?"
Marc winced and played with his necklace.
"I..I don't want to freak you out, but my parents are of..a higher power in Atlantis."
Jake shrugged. It's not that difficult.
"Well, I'm the American dragon, your parents are gonna love a boyfriend with a title. We are gonna date right?"
Marc nodded red faced.
"Yeah, I didn't know how to ask but yeah, I guess this could be a first date. Under a tree, talking, and finding out each other's life."
Jake smiled and squeezed Marc's hand. Jake suddenly began laughing and Marc stared at him confused.
"It's just, trixie is gonna be so jealous that I am dating the Val."
Marc widened his eyes and cracked up. His laugh was beautiful if you could call a laugh that. It wasn't too loud or high pitched, it was just pretty to hear. Jake leaned into his side and smiled.
"Next date, wanna go to a magic show?"
Marc raised an eyebrow.
"If you mean a human one, I don't think we can-" "No, an actual one. I think I can get Nigel to give me a plus one as a plus one. Thrall something I think."
Marc paused before shaking Jake around.
"You mean the amazing Thrall magic Show! I've been dreaming to see a performance my whole life! How did you get tickets? Even..Well my sort of family can't get our hands on them."
Jake was a bit dazed but shrugged it off.
"I know their son, he's like a total jerk but Lynn got me in."
Marc gasped in mock shock.
"She knows I've been wanting to go. I'm going to give her what for next I see her."
Before Jake could say more he got a pixie mail. He opened the envelope to see a magic screen appear before them.
"AI-YAH! Jake you are supposed to be here at shop to train! No going out to skate with your wheels when it's special training days!!"
Jake winced and his Grampa noticed Marc.
"Is that Val!"
A crash was heard and fu dog could be heard out of screen.
"Oh my gosh! I'm such a big fan, Jake get an autograph for me!-"
His grampa stared hard at Marc before noticing his necklace.
"Not many people can find shells like that young man."
Marc stiffened and nodded.
"Wait, why are you talking to him gramps, he could've been a you-know."
"Do you think your grandfather is foolish? The boy is clearly of the sea! Now get to SHOP NOW OR ITS TWO HOURS OF CHORES!"
The message cut out and Jake winced.
"...your grandpa is smart.."

Twoen
The struggle for an interesting game has been the story of my life for quite some time. Every game I find is either too easy, not interesting or too short. Luckily, my two brothers who match my level of skill, albeit in different areas, tend to spice things up. When I look at my older brother I have no idea how he gets anything done when he's such an idiot. Still it doesn't detract from my respect for him as a gamer, though maybe a little. When I look at my younger brother I marvel at the monster that my older brother and I created. Deadliness, craftiness and quiet, both in what he does and how he is. When it's just us three we tend to destory everything in our path. So normally we tend to compete rather than team. Although that isn't to say we're just good as individuals. When we work together our effectiveness multiplies rather than lowering. Well enough about us dorks. Anyway a new VR game came out, apparently in development for quite some time. Of course my older brother decided to drive out and buy three copies. What would this one be missing? Difficulty? Depth? Length? In any case I plan to reach the top before my brothers do. It was a competition after all. Twoen had all three things I normally yearn for in spades. Something I did not foresee. A keeper
