At the sleep over, Trixie went over the basics of most sexualities and helped Jake realize more about himself.
"Woah, that was really informative, thanks trix. I guess I'm Bi."
Trixie nodded and turned to Jake seriously.
"Do you want to tell anyone else?"
Jake paused and felt unsure. He didn't think he would tell his family yet, but maybe spud and rose.
"How about Spud and Rose?" Trixie nodded and the next day at school he told them in private before school.
"Oh Jake! I'm so happy you felt that you could trust me with this."
Spud gave his pal a good hug.
"Cool, I'm pan by the way."
Jake honestly wasn't shocked by that as he should have been. As soon as they walked in though, all eyes were on Jake. Jake raised his eyebrows and people were whispering to each other. When lunch rolled around Jake found their table the eye of everyone.
"Dude, like, what did you do?"
Jake shrugged. Trixie and Rose were also clueless. That was until Stacy the cheerleader went to them.
"So long, how was it to dance with the one and only Val?"
Jake paused before blushing at the thought.
"I uh, wait how do you know about that?"
Stacy held out her phone. On it was some video someone posted on the YouTube that was reaching hundred thousands of views. In it was a small portion of Val turning to the crowd and keeping their eyes on it. They made their way over to the crowd and revealed Jake mesmerized by the star. They danced and people were screaming in the back over it. They even caught Val leaning to his ear before the video cut out.
"Now, how do you know him?"

Jake shook his head furiously.
"I don't! The guy was just doing his thing and I dunno, we sorta, connected.."
Stacy was about to ask more questions but Rose held a hand out.
"Stand down, clearly he isn't that ready to talk about it. Now go back to your table and stop gossiping about Jake. ALL OF YOU."
Rose said staring down everyone. Soon enough lunch went on and so did classes. Jake finally got through last period before heading out to his locker in time to see a commotion outside. He saw trixie gaping and Spud with Rose trying to snap her out of it.
"What's up?"
Spud pointed to the crowd covering something.
"We didn't get to see it but trixie did, she's all wack out though."
Spud shook her around before trixie smacked his head.
"Don't shake me around like that again, you here me spudinski? Now, where's Jake?"
Jake coughed and Trixie grabbed him with a iron grip.
"Come with me!"
She dragged him over to the crowd and pushed people aside.
"Move it! I got precious cargo!"
People soon enough spread apart and Jake felt his whole world flip at the sight in front of him. It was Val, his hair more naturally to the side and in more casual clothing. He wore a odd shell necklace and turned to make eye contact with Jake.
"Finally, I love my fans but finding you was difficult. Hope it was worth the wait."
Jake felt himself gaping like a fish at the boy. Trixie closed his jaw and nudged him.
"Uh, H-hi, Hey? How you do yo?"
If he could throw himself off a cliff, now would be an great time. Trixie laughed and grabbed his side.
"How funny jakie? This is Jake long, I'm Trixie Carter, his best friend. Can I say I am a big fan-"

"Thank you, Um, trixie, I'm doing fine. Is it alright if we meet somewhere more, private?"
Jake would love too, but his mouth isn't working.
"Uhhhhh.."
Trixie laughed again and nudged him.
"What a jokester! Of course he would love too!"
She made Jake's head nod and Val smiled at him.
"Great, here!"
Val handed Jake a piece of paper.
"Meet me there in, about a few minutes."
Jake was brought out the crowd and trixie was spazzing.
"Oh My God! I spoke with The Val! And he thanked me! Jakie you have to meet him now!"
Jake looked at the place Val wrote down and realized it was the skate park near Grey street. "That's not that far, I guess I could go?" Rose nodded and gave him a smile.
"Go on and Romance us a celebrity."
Rose winked in support. Jake sputtered but trixie was already pushing him into his skate board. He made it over there quickly and saw the place was cut off due to 'reasons'. Jake easily snuck in and waited by the tree. He remembered what he saw before at the concert. Before he could start thinking on it he felt a tap on his shoulder.
"Glad you could make it firecracker~"
Jake turned to Val leering over him. Jake noticed he had freckles, what would he do to kiss them-God he needed a water. What with how thirsty his mind was.
"I-uh-, Yeah, good to see you well! I mean as well. Fuck."
He needed someone to smite him now. Val laughed and coughed as he saw Jake's face.
"Sorry! You're just so cute! I'm a amazed to find someone like you."
Jake paused at that before focusing on the last bit.
"Like me?"
Val nodded and looked out at the city in front of them.
"Sit with me."
Jake did so easily.
"You're different, I felt it as soon as I saw you. You didn't seem to faint or scream at the sight of me. Which, is always a pleasure."
Jake nodded.
"Yeah, constantly screaming girls don't seem like a thing anybody would want."
Jake paused before turning to Val.
"Not to say if you do like that stuff or-"
Val put a hand on his shoulder that burned just right.
"It's quite alright. I'm glad someone else can see that too."
Jake relaxed and spent the next hour speaking with Val.
"I'm glad we got to talk Jake."
"Me too Val."
Val paused at that before looking away.
"Marc, call me Marc. Val is a stage name."
Jake nodded before turning to Marc.
"Alright, Marc, can I ask you why you wanted to see me? Or even dance with me?"
Marc blushed at the name but raised an eyebrow at Jake.
"Why did you? I felt, I dunno a sudden connection."
Jake widened his eyes.
"Like if I didn't be with the other-"
"it would be the end of the world.."
They turned to each other surprised. Jake slowly looked into Marc's eyes feeling himself get lost.
