《In The Eye of Her Storm // Klaus Mikaelson》Thirty-One

The night had been symphony of clinking glasses and untold secrets. Smiles brighter then the sun illuminated the rooms we moved through and stories sunk into the walls as they listened to us. Music had been left playing in the parlour but we hadn't stopped moving since then.
"So when is it? When are you fated to end the world?" Klaus pried as i laughed joyfully.
"There is no set time Nik." I mused as he glanced over the painting hung in my library. The painting depicted pure chaos and at its centre four figures stood silently.
"The witches only foresaw what happens and why." He hummed as the words left me, a mess of nonchalance at its finest.
"So why?" He asked instead as i turned on my heel, pacing to an old book Kyrin had left open on one of the desks.
"One of us will one day lose, perhaps our shadowmate, a child or a friend who has lasted a life time and in our turmoil the world will suffer." I shrugged, of course the tale ran deeper and more difficult but those were the bases.
"So you destroy it out of mourning?" Klaus asked taking the book from my hands, i turned to lean back on the desk my eyes alight with bitten excitement.
"The day will be sad for all but the anger will perish our sorrows. It begins with a city and then Leons plagues will spread, Ezra will diminish crops, I will build armies to slaughter the populations and Kyrin will revive war lords to aid me. Those we wish to live through it all will be revived by him in the end and we will live on, in a world pure." I laughed it off despite the harshness hidden in it.

"It must be stressful to bare such a power." I shuck my head at him because truly it was not.
"Here you stand with the power to enslave the minds of not only man but vampires alike, should you wish it you could be king of the world, rule it instead of destroying it. Perhaps that is the harder task." Klaus was quick to close the book in his hand, placing it back down where Kyrin would find it later. His eyes rose to the painting once more before flitting back to me.
As if trying to spot any similarity.
"To conquer ones enemy instead of killing them. Which is a worse fate?" He mused walking to stand in front of me, from where i leant back he seemed to tower above me, more so then before.
"Did your parents know of what they created when your father cast the spell?" A monster in the making?
"My father was riddled with rage to small minded people, who had taken the woman he loved with only the justification of her species. He wanted us to punish them no doubt, to realise we were indeed above them all." He moved closer as i spoke.
"He loved her fiercely." Klaus mused.
"With everything he had, he wanted his children to experience such affection. So perhaps in a way he knew we would act just as brash when someone we loved was taken, just as he had the night she passed." Barely a breath between us now.
"He would have loved you as would have my mother." I continued, studying his face.
"Is that so?" My breathing faltered as his lips caressed the skin on my neck, his hum shaking the soul situated in my body.

"Family is everything and you seem to know that Nik." I assured. Yes my parents would have loved him, he would have had a family with us. A pack. Protected and loved and safe-
My thoughts were cut of as he hit the mark on my neck, my body shrinking away to shudder. Hands grasping at the wooden desk as the sensation tore through me.
"Not fair hybrid." One hand rose to push at his chest as he did not relent, an animalistic growl of something new tore from me.
Forcing me to subdue him to the same sensation.
With a little extra push his lips were forced to leave my skin, we stood only a breath apart, my eyes staring back at his amused ones.
"Distracted love?" Klaus asked as my eyes lit, his amber ones stared back with just as much vigour. Slowly i rose my hand from his chest, trailing it to his lips as i traced there outline. For a seconded i was conflicted, on placing mine to them or seeking revenge.
My mind was made the moment my hand slid into his hair, revealing the mark i had once placed in all it's glory. It was an effort to not touch, more so when my lips got closer and i felt his heart shudder at the affect.
This was why he had not stopped, the affect was to maddening.
I caressed slowly to begin, a peck to taunt and tease, a nip to entrance and then a lingering kiss, forcing his body to shudder against my own. I didn't linger as long as he had, unable to as his hands roamed the length of my body. My lips moved upwards as his hands did, sparing a moment for air before descending upon his.
It was pure passion, need and want. Addicted to a scent and a feeling, rocked into one tidal wave of ecstasy. Surroundings melted away and something began to bloom. Whether the liquor of the night had fuelled us in a drunken spur or something had changed between us, it didn't matter.
Because Klaus's lips on mine were right then. He was everything and all. Home, comfort, safety, wrapped in a man who belonged in my arms. And i in turn in his.
Caution was thrown out of the window, worries along with it and that hazy passion turned feral. The motions rocking into one blatant need and want with two people who were now willing to risk the havoc in hope for peace.
My back hit the desk and his tongue delved to mine.
Liquor dancing with my own, his heart humming along to mine. It took a moment of hesitation to stop this, just one mewl for it to stop but neither of us were willing to give it and neither wanted to. I was content with that and so was Klaus. Now the night did not seem so dark.

The Ruins of Magincia
They say all things end in time, but the exalted City of Magi would’ve begged to differ. Yet when an attempted coup goes wrong, the city finds itself brought to the very brink of destruction. In the wake of the calamity that left no survivors, the autonomous infrastructure still operating the ruined city seeks to restore what was lost. Luckily for it, the Mana-devoid Universe it awoke in holds an unexpected surprise: a planet full of sentient life forms. All capable—with a little help—to become the next generation of Magi. Back on Earth, Millie McArthur is a pregnant out-of-work mechanic struggling with the prospect of moving back in with her parents after leaving her unfaithful fiancé. That is until she finds herself just one of the hundreds that have been shanghaied by the callous artificial constructs still manning the ruins of Magincia. Now, she must struggle to learn magic, compete for resources, get good 'grades,' and fulfill the seemingly arbitrary requirements for her future job in this broken city. All while keeping herself, and her son, alive. Is the miracle of magic really enough to make up for all the pain? The Ruins of Magincia is a dark fantasy that's heavy on the drama (LitRPG aspects are very light). Chapter lengths can be anywhere from 7k-12k and there's no current release schedule as I'm focusing on wrapping up volume one.

In The Maw Of The Gods
Synopsis Lilly Harper was always the type to keep to herself. She struggled to make friendships and so, she simply opted not to. That was why moving to the coastal town of Wilham didn’t bother her. She wasn’t leaving anybody behind and she certainly didn’t expect to be making any friends any time soon. However, when she starts hearing about the school’s “Magic Club”—a group of weirdos who claim that magic is real, she can’t deny that she’s slightly intrigued. Then without warning, she suddenly finds herself wrapped up with them. And what if they aren’t crazy? What if magic is actually real? And what if it’s because of that magic that something more powerful than they could ever conceive of is drawn to Wilham? I plan to follow a release schedule of Tuesday/Friday. Average chapter length will be 4,000 to 6,000 words and I will be using multiple POV's quite often. Also to note, while I am flagging the story with content warnings, I am only doing so because there are specific moments where it will be needed. Overall, the story will be relatively tame and I plan to put extra warnings at the beginning of chapters that it applies to. Thank you to everybody who decides to give my story a chance and I hope you enjoy it!
