《In The Eye of Her Storm // Klaus Mikaelson》Six

I had been sat in the boarding house for hours demanding updates from my brother every time the clock would tick. The sun had fallen and people had come and gone. All the while i waited. Waited and waited and waited. Like an addict waiting for the next hit. I knew time was running low and that the ritual would occur with or without me.
I just hoped by the end of the night i would finally get my satisfaction.
My ears tuned to the sound of a car pulling into the drive way, like an exited puppy i raced to the door. Becoming overly underwhelmed when i saw it was only Elena and Stefan. Like a gentlemen he opened her car side door as i leant against the boarding doorway waiting for them to come in.
"Thanks for today." Elena spoke softly to Stefan as the vampire bristled.
"You had me all nervous, i thought you had done something stupid." Oh how i wish they had, just to spite him if anything. I knew of Damons current plans, which would be a pain for the elder vampire to fix but not permanent.
No, i wished they had done something irreversible, kill Elena off just so he remained trapped, if she were to die in the end anyway.
"You ready my dear?" Klaus asked as Stefan remained between them.
"No they are having a moment! So would you kindly fuck off." I scoffed as Stefan turned to Elena, the pair huffing their terms of endearment to each other. Allowing them their final embrace Klaus turned to me.
"Once i turn, you will be the first one i come to kill." I smiled at his words, stepping out of the door way.
"I'll be here sunshine." I bit back as his glare deepened.

"Close your eyes... Close your eyes." Elena nodded in reassurance as i turned to watch them, confused by the sorrow in it all.
And Stefan did, he took her last words closing his eyes as her hand left his, one final touch before the mournful goodbye. Then she was gone, as if she had never even been there.
I watched as he took his time coming to terms with what had happened before he pulled his phone from his pocket and stormed inside, he stopped as he passed me, pulling the device away from his ear.
"You can get there in time can't you? Stop him in time?" I cooed at the desperation in his voice, leaning back in pure calm.
"Should i be too late i know a man who can make death far less permanent." He swallowed harshly nodding in trust before dialling his brother and moving on. Even if tonight did go wrong on all levels, all was healed in the presence of my brother.
All my problems turning to ash and cloud.
All my responsibilities becoming his after all he was the eldest and i just his little sister, the gem in his trove, apple of his eye.
I groaned at the barrage of Damons texts rolling my eyes as i stalked back inside, dead silence fell as my eyes cast over two new men. One i knew as Alaric but the other a stranger.
"Eris, this is Elijah, Elijah this is Damon's friend, Eris Ashire." My hands slipped idly into my pockets as we inspected each other.
"Im gonna need more then that Stefan." I demanded calmly, glancing over my shoulder.
"Klaus's brother, he promised to help us kill him. He will be coming with us tonight." I narrowed my eyes in suspicion.

"You have no reason to be weary of me Miss Ashire i have offered my assistance out of personal wants. I'm here for the same reason you are." My sneer didn't lighten.
"Only an untrustworthy man offers reasons to solidify their alliance." I deadpanned as he looked to me strangely.
"An uncommon last name you bare, where have i heard it?" I gave a strained smile.
"Clearly no where important seeing as you didn't take the time to remember." I moved closer to Stefan.
"If he betrays us Stefan i do not have the power to take him down as well. My brother has offered me only one name tonight." He nodded with caution.
"He gave us his word, didn't you Elijah?" We turned back to the man.
"Indeed i did, tonight my brother pays for what he has done." Still unsure of him i chose to ignore his promises, knowing when the time came anyway i was going to take lead. It wasn't a promise i could even take seriously anyway as i knew i wouldn't dare act out such a thing on any of my own brothers.
"You will do well to keep your promises to women, we tend to react more harshly when they are broken." I smiled half heartedly as the sound of tires on gravel caught my attention. This time when i turned my eyes lit with pure unaltered excitement.
My heart sped up as the tinted windows rolled down, the face of my family peering back. The fulfilling feeling of our kind being reunited despite the lack of two others. I ditched my prior conversation fully making my way down to where he had parked, pulling his car to a stop.
He opened the door closing it right after he got out, just in time for my arms to wrap around him. I felt the power that buzzed when we were together.
"Oh how i have missed you Kyrin." He smiled his genuine one, teeth sparkling under the lights around us.
"I hope im not to late." I shuck my head.
"Should the girl die you are obligated to fix it due to your tardiness." He tossed me a playful grin.
"Well then, let us waste no time so i may spare myself some hard work." I nodded as Stefan and his followers came prowling from the house, like myself Kyrin took a lazy assured stance.
"Do keep up, I'd hate to keep my sister waiting." He spoke without introducing himself, even if he had never met Stefan apposed to my two other siblings who had.
Each went to offer their names but Kyrin turned back to his car, opening a door for me.
"We will meet you near the Quarry Stefan, fill in the teenage witch and stay by the side-lines, your my responsibility tonight." I warned climbing inside, he nodded lowly as we pulled off, i watched as they headed to their own vehicle.
"I can sense it in the air Eris." My brother spoke with a sigh.
"Someone is going to die tonight." He continued, i looked to him in the rear view mirror.
"Let us hope we are the ones to cause it."
