. If Rick doesn't bring Jason back, he's going to get of angry fan mail.
Do not use cliches like "Then it went dark," and the evil step dad
Have Consistency. If a character dies, don't bring them into the story.
If you write a Chaos story, don't make Percy OP, change up some things, and no names like Alpha, Omega, Trident, Riptide, or Hurricane.
(If you need a Chaos Fanfic Percy Name, then just put one of his qualities into google translate, and translate them in Latin or Greek)
Hestia, Artemis, and Hera are maiden goddesses so they don't have children. You can have Hestia create a child out of the hearth, or from flames if you want to.
Heroes do NOT kill monsters and leave unharmed and not out of breath
It doesn't always have to be Percy who has a twin; What if Annabeth did?
The Big Three do NOT just go around having children all willy-nilly; There are the few and the proud who are their children.
Just a reminder, Hades technically didn't break the oath, as it was formed after WW2.
Percy may not be the smartest kid, but he knows things, can be goofy sometimes, (and oblivious), but he has a greater mental capacity than a 4 year old child.
Percy does like blue cookies, but people put of strain into that idea, so make up something like Percy the color red, or give him one of your own quirks.
I repeat, Percy is not an idiot, he knows things.
Everyone forgets Piper can speak French.
emphasis on words by using Italics and CAPITALS and underlining
(But don't use them on everything.)
Never forget about Tyson and Grover.
AVOID LONG NAMES. Any name that has more than 3 words is long to me so make sure there are no Katie Lipstick Beauty Mascara Faces in your writing.

Write clearly and use describing words
(Hey, why's the ground getting closer to my face?
USE SPELL CHECK AND GRAMMR CHECK SMTIMES WRDS MAAY NOT BE SPELLLED RITE
Avoid using texting language like Lol, 4 real? GTG Hey M8TE, 2 Fast 4 U, OMG!!
Do not use a million exclamation marks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes use a combination like !?!
Annabeth DOES have dyslexia, so I'm pretty sure that she doesn't read a lot of books. She may read some, but that must be hard for her, because in the sea of monsters, it was shown that she couldn't spell very well, and spelling and reading are hand in hand.
Seriously, Piper can speak French and absolutely no one writes fanfics where she can do that.
When making demigods, don't make their names about their godly parent. Avoid names like Storm and Tsunami.
Percy is not scarred from Tartarus.
()
Everyone forgets Nico went through Tartarus alone, and Percy and Annabeth had each other's constant support all the way. Plus, at least Percy knew what he was going to go through when he went down with Annabeth. Not to be a hater, but it would have been good for Percy's character development if he had to let Annabeth fall into the Pit. Percy hasn't made any real sacrifices. Everyone around him makes them for him. Think about it. That is his fatal flaw, his loyalty, where he would give anything for a friend. If Percy was given the choice between him dying or Annabeth, and if he dies, the world will fall apart, he will always choose for Annabeth to survive. Percy makes sacrifices in different ways than others. All of his choices have been made for him, everyone around him always has to sacrifice so much. Jason sacrifices being the leader, Annabeth sacrifices her mother's love, Nico sacrifices a lot to be that close to Percy without telling him his secret. Not to be mean, but Percy to make a real sacrifice, a real choice, for himself. None of his choices have been real. Giving Luke the knife, falling into the Pit for Annabeth, they all were split second decisions. Percy's time is coming soon, and he will need to sacrifice something.

Clarent Saga: Chronicles
Based on my work on Saga of the Jewels, I've been hired by an indie game developer to write the novel for their 'novel + turn-based battles' game which is in Early Access on Steam. Of course, a 'novel + turn based battles' is a terrible idea for a game, which is why no other games like this exist, but hey, the developer is paying me. And if something's worth doing at all, it's worth doing as well as possible, so I am going to give this project my very best shot and try to make it as good as it can be. So if you read this, please give me feedback on the story to help me make it as good as it can be! Please note, for this story I have been given a pre-existent set of characters, character back-story sketches and a rough plot to work with. I also have to insert random battles into the narrative, have set characters appear in a certain order, and have the party fight fixed bosses in a certain order, all at fixed points! Please also note that this is a first draft. I will be editing and re-working this in the future and re-posting it. But I need helpful feedback, if anyone can give it. You can also find the game version of this on Steam by searching there for 'Clarent Saga: Chronicles'.

Einherjar
*This is the remake of Hell Bound* Einherjar, known in Norse mythology for being the warriors who fight at the end of days, Ragnarok. Arthur Clive felt that described Adventurer's pretty well, given that they were fighting to prevent the apocalypse due to a megalomaniacal being known as Chronos who somehow took over Hell and invaded Earth. It seems like a fantasy, but it isn't... and Arthur is just one of many who are trying to kill Chronos before he kills them. The only difference between Arthur and the others being that he's the closest to getting it right.
