《I Call It Love (Yandere Boys X Reader)》Ch.9: Hell

I closed my locker and headed towards the stairs. As I went up my phone went off. 'Look behind you!' It was a text from an unknown number so I hesitated but turned around.
"(Y/n)!" A familiar voice cheered. It was Hector. "I just wanted apologize to you again... Can I walk you to class as an apology?" He ran up to me and smiled even wider.
"Oh... Thank you, again. I thought you were someone else.." I looked down while he giggled. I began to wonder how he had gotten my number, but at this point I wasn't easily surprised at someone getting my information.
"Nah. Come on, you have Mr.L first right?"
"Yeah... I usually walk with Jason, but I don't know where he went." I quickly looked around us but could not find him in the sea of other teens.
"Maybe he took a different way to class?" He shrugged it off and started walking. As we reached the top I felt a strange presence. Before I could distinguish who it I felt my shoulder get pulled back. It was so violent, and I wasn't prepared for it so I fell back.
"J-Juliet!" Hector screamed. I fell backwards and tumbled down the stairs. It ended with me slamming into another person. They let out a small yelp as I crashed into them and grianed when we hit the ground, I seconded it.
"I was feeling faint! I was gonna fall if I didn't grab onto something... It was an accident I swear!" I heard her yelling, but I could tell she was lying even when I was feeling dizzy. I looked up to see her and Hector running down to see me but before they got there I was overwhelmed by sudden shouting from somewhere around me.
"Oh my god (Y/n)! Are you ok?!?" It was Freddy I had tumbled into.
"Freddy...? I'm so sorry, I didnt mean to-" I tried to apologize.
"Dont apologize to me! Your the one who fell down the stairs!" He started to check for any injuries but Hector intervened.
"She didn't fall, she was pushed, by Juliet." He sent a glare towards his guilty sister. She stood there, now scared. There was a crowd forming around us which acted as a shield to any nearby teachers.
"I- she- she was trying to rub herself up to you, Hector. I couldn't let her infect you like that!" Juliet tried to defend herself, now telling the truth.
"Infect. Good one." I mumbled. She scoffed at my remark and pushed the guys aside, which would seem hard... but it didn't they seemed to be weak, and fell backwards onto the steps.
"Why don't you just butt out of the conversation. Your hurt, let me help you." She picked me up by the wrist and the guys started to get hostile.
"Let her go Juliet. I don't want to hurt you, your my sister, but if I have to defend (Y/n) I will." Hectors grabbed her arm and tried to yank her back. Freddy seconded him and tried to grab her but failed.

"See what I mean. You all side with her, she's manipulating everyone! Look at you." She glared down at me. "I hope this kills you." She dragged need to stairs, kicking the boys away and threw me down the small group of stairs right before the ones I has just fallen down. I don't know when I lost consciousness, but all I remember were screams in the distance as I rolled down the stairs.

"Who's fault was it?"
"Who do you think... Juliet's"
"OF COURSE! I swear to god, if I see her-"
"Shut up, Richie, she's waking up." My eyed slowly opened a.d I was met with the five faces that belonged to the boys. "Hey (Y/n)." I saw that it was Jason who was speaking. Freddy, Hector, and Richie were crowding around while Trevor stood at the door, he looked as if he were guarding it. I looked around for any nurses, but I couldn't see one.
"Did I... Did I blackout?" I asked slowly. I had a tremendous headache and I couldn't really see well.
"Yeah... After falling down the second flight." Hector tried to seem as kind as possible. I sighed and sat up.
"Juliet's currently in the office, but once she gets out I will avenge you!" Richie grabbed hand and squeezed it before walking towards Trevor. The two were suddenly forced to move when Juliet walked in with an escort.
"I see you took everyone again..." Juliet was avoiding eye contact which made me chuckle. The escort glared at her and nudged her for her words.
"I'm sorry I was pushed down the stairs." I sarcastically shot the insult at her. She huffed and shifted in her spot.
"Well... I'm sorry I pushed you." Her tone changed and she started to look at me. "I'm being suspended for two weeks..." She couldn't hold her eye contact after telling me that.
"You're what...?" I asked, earning an eye roll and head shake from the escort.
"I'm sorry." She repeated, she started to get frustrated.
"I can't hear you, the fall must've messed up my ear." I joked. The others in the room started to chuckle at my acting, though I could tell they were still uneasy.
"IM SORRY!" She yelled out as I started to laugh. The escort once again shook her head as she wrote something down. "Well now we can all be happy." She said cheerfully, but the whole mood dropped in the room. She seemed to be absolutely buzzing with joy and reliefI just stared at her in disbelief as she looked at me, Even the escort couldn't believe what she said. The guys glared at her and turned away. "Guys we can all be friends now, Right?" She laughed, but no one was taking her seriously.
"Are you crazy? You pushed (Y/n) down the stairs, TWICE! You really think we're gonna forgive you?" Richie scolded in a low voice, which actually scared me.
"But... I apologized." She started to lose her happy tone.

"And thats supposed to make up for everything? Juliet you literally could've killed her. You slapped her, poured milk on her, attacked her in chats... and this? You are seriouly stupid if you think thats all you need to do to even come close to being all buddy buddies with us." Jason scowled at her, the look in his eyes could kill. The room silenced and she was drained from her happy state. The two, Richie and Trevor, walked over the me and stared at her.
"Well... I'll leave then." She moped and started to walk away. 'What the hell....' I thought. The boys turned and looked at me.
"I... Have to go to last period. I'll see you later (Y/n)." Freddy smiled and slowly walked out. Hector, Richie, and Trevor Did the same and left me with Jason.
"Think you can make it through Biology?" He lightly smiled. I nodded and got up to go to our last class, though Jason has to help me as I was limping. The class went by slowly and I couldn't see much from it. After it was over, Jason walked me to my locker and left after making sure I could walk. The school seemed to leave me alone even though I was severely injured on school property, I'll have to remind myself to sue them someday.... I got my stuff and when I closed my locker I saw Juliet. I slightly jumped at her presence.
"Hey... I'm really sorry." She repeated once again, but I couldn't bring myself to say anything.
"I...-" I tried to speak but was pulled out of the way. I looked up to see Trevor holding me in a protecting position. "Trevor?"
"Oh... I wasn't doing anything, I swear." Juliet tried to sound innocent. Trevor glared down at her and practically told her to beat it. She looked down, "sorry... I'll leave." She walked away and Trevor reluctantly let me go.
"She was just saying sorry." I reassured him. He shook his head and looked me straight in the eye. Told be honest... I kind of liked that protection, though if I had found be extra honest it was a little late for it... but it was the thought that counts.
"No more chances. Shes blown all the ones we've given her. I saw it when she tried to break your fingers." I felt like an idiot when he said that.
"She's grieving-"
"No more chances, (Y/n). She's unstable." He spat out and walked away. I stood there confused on how to feel. One side of me wanted for forgive and forget, the other was raging with anger at the fact that she pushed me down the stairs. Before I could move someone put their hand on my shoulder.
"Hey (Y/n), are we gonna work on the homework?" It was Jason, I had completely forgotten about after school. He said he had to give pick something up from a class, which was why he left earlier.
"Oh... Of course! We just have to tell my mom..." I nervously laughed. He chuckled and agreed. We made our way to her car and she smiled. "Hey mom, I'm going to Jason's so we can finish the homework." I stuck my head through the window.
"Oh ok! I'll see you at the house later. Bye honey, bye Jason!" She waved and he mirrored as she drove off.
"C'mon, let's go to my car." He said grinning as he walked me over. It wasn't too expensive, it was a medium sized truck that was a silvery black. He opened the door for me and I thanked him. The drive was nice, we had small conversations as I semi-paid attention to where we were going. As we arrived, I saw the area that the boys were said to live in. A small little dead end with a loop like circle. A couple houses lined the perimeter, pale colors. "Here we are!" He cheered and walked around to open my door. "I live in this blue one. Richie and the others live in the other houses. If you want, we can see em later." I nodded and we went into a blue house. As we entered, I saw a neat looking hallway leading to the stairs. A few paintings hung on the walls, pictures of his mother and father. Mainly it was quiet except for a few washing machine sounds. "My rooms upstairs, let's go." He quickly walked towards the stairs. We passed what seemed to be the living room and a dining room.
"You have a nice house." I complimented. It was indeed nice, a lot bigger than mine.
"Thank you, sorry it isn't clean." He said over his shoulder as we made our way up. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick, my rooms on the right." He informed. I nodded and walked towards the direction. Opening his door I found a neat and picked up room. There was a bunch of books the human body, a corner filled with operation type games, and a tucked bed. I marveled at how clean his room was compared to mine. As I walked in further a voice startled me.
"Why hello there." I quickly turned to see Jason standing in the doorway. He was wearing something completely different. "You are one good looking girl, may I ask your name?" He slowly walked up and towered over me. I was speechless. 'This isn't the Jason I know. He would never-' My thoughts were interrupted as he grabbed me by the chin. "Speechless? I know I'm good looking." He grinned. "Maybe we should get out of my broth-"
"Josh, what the fuck dude... get the hell off of (Y/n), and get out of my room!" I heard a familiar voice coming from behind the person who was just trying to get me into their room.

The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.
