The girl slid her headphones in as she walked out of the school. Her mother was in the parking lot and so she ran to the back door and opened it. Her mother saw the earbud cord and knew she didnt want to be disturbed. They got home and the girl rushed inside. She slapped the note on the table and ran to change into comfy clothes. "What's this?" The mother asked. (Y/n) flew down the stairs and jumped off the last few steps. Her mother sighed and started to read the letter. The excited girl bounced in excitement at her schedule. "Oh my god, sweetie! First day and your already put into high ranked classes!" The girl's mother smiled and hugged her daughter. Joy seemed to seep into the room as the two let go. "This calls for... Pizza!"
"YES!" (Y/n)'s eyes lit up like a match and she jumped onto the couch. She didn't have any homework since she was switching and at the highschool the seniors dont get much homework. The girl watched TV and played on her phone until her Mom came home with the pizza.
-
The two sat back, rubbing their stomachs. "That was so good..." The younger female exhaled. Her mother nodded in agreement. They sat there watching TV together when (Y/n)'s phone went off. "I'll be back." The girl went into the kitchen only to see that she had no idea who the number was from. "Hello?"
"Hey, is this (Y/n)?" The higher pitched voice rang through the phone. They sounded familiar.
"Depends on who's asking..."
"Oh yeah, sorry, its me Richie!" The girl looked at her phone in confusion as she wondered who even gave him the number.
"Richie..? How did you-"
"Dont worry. I asked Juliet and she gave it to me so that we could create a chat for us all." You could practically hear his smile.
"Oh.... Ok?" The girl scratched her head and sighed.
"Anyway, I was just checking to see if it was right. I'll be out of your hair. Bye~" Before the girl could speak he hung up.
"Strange..." She shrugged it off seeing as it never hurt to make new friends. Though she had wished Juliet asked her first. She looked at the time and decided it was time to sleel. "Gnight mom!"
"Wait who was on the phone?" The woman on the couch called out to her.
"Oh my new friend Richie." The girl headed towards the stairs.
"Oh.. Ok, sleep tight." (Y/n) nodded, wishing her a good night, and went up to her room. She quickly went to the bathroom and then snuggled up under her covers.
"Well tomorrow should be interesting..." She said before dozing off.
"Bye Mom." I said as I walked towards the school as my mom drove away. Upon walking unto the building, I grew a strange sense that someone was watching me. I turned around only to see Jason walking up behind me, he wasn't paying attention though. I smiled and waved to him. "Hey Jason. We're in the same homeroom, right?" He looked down at me and stared for a second.
"Oh hey (Y/n). Sorry I'm kinda tired this morning... but yeah we are! We also have biology together, my favorite subject. Let's walk together." His smile turned into a grin, I laughed, and we both walked to class and talked about the school and the rules. After a long and thoughtful conversation we arrived and sat down at the bell.

"CLASS! HIDE!" The teacher ran in and everyone laughed. I was confused stared at the crazy man. "Oh a new student... Sorry its this inside joke we all have." The teacher looked down as he tried to explain. He followed his actions by looking on his desk for something, perhaps his attendance papers.
"One day Mr.L ran in and was followed by this bird. He told us to hide and when did the bird went crazy and pooped all over our desks." Jason informed. I nodded and chuckled a bit.
"Thanks J. Welcome to the class!Today we're learning how to rephrase things so that they work in your favor." The teacher took out a pen and started to write on the smart board. "My aunt likes to eat bees at night." The class erupted in laughter at the sentence.
"What?" A kid in the first row asked. It was clear that the first tow held those who were actually here to learn. "How is this going to help us, Mr.Lefeit?" The kid pushed his glasses up and glared at the teacher. (Y/n) examined the boy, he had red hair, large thick glasses that were in front of his golden, cat-like, eyes.
"I told you, its not Mr.Lefeit, makes me sound like a foot, its Mr.L. Anyway, ELVIN, this is very helpful during debates and so you don't seem crazy..." He looked away and turned his attention to me. "Ok new girl, what's your name?"
"Uh... My names (Y/n)." I replied.
"(Y/n), Lovely." He turned and started to write again. "(Y/n) likes to take extra food from the cafeteria everyday." He looked back and smiled. "Rephrase that to make it better in your favor."
I gulped and took a breath. "I like to take extra food from school so that I can give it to the soup kitchen on my way home." He turned his skeptical look to one of happiness.
"GREAT! Even better than some of the regular classmates." He wrote my response down, earning a few chuckles from the students.
"I can think of something better." Everyone turned their attention to Elvin. "(Y/n) likes to take food from school to help feed her family." He looked back and smirked. I stared back, somehow feeling challenged by his gaze.
"Oh.. I mean I guess its ok. Not (y/n) but more so Elvin." He joked as he wrote down the answer.
"Quit using my name as an adjective!" The red head snapped his head towards the laughing teacher. Something told me he was always the student to get picked on, I felt sort of bad. "And if you are going to use it, it better be as a compliment!" Elvin turned and glared out the window.
"...drama queen. Anyway class, let's continue." The lesson went on for another 30 minutes until the bell rang through the speakers and everyone left. I had math next, which wasn't too hard to find, and I didn't know anyone. A quick scan of the room caused me to see one face that didn't look completely foreign. I couldn't quite tell why, he just looked so... familiar. I quickly earned gazes after someone make a remark about my new face, this brought the attention of the teacher to me.

"Oh Ms.(Y/n), our new student. Please take a seat next to..." He scanned the room. "Hector. Hector please wave your wave." I glanced to see a small smile on the familiar face, and who, I presume, was Hector. I nodded and sat down, the lesson began.
"Hey.." He looked at me. I looked back and smiled.
"Hello..."
"You look so familiar to me, do I know you from anywhere?" I looked over to him, giving him a full, up close, view of my face as I looked over his.
"I used to go to school in the district a while back, I moved and came back..." He nodded, still studying my face. He looked like someone I knew. He smiled and I nervously let my checks spread out to form a smile.
"Well, maybe that's it." He looked forward, but quickly turned back to add "We're gonna get along just fine!" The teacher looked at us secretly and I looked up and started to pay attention. 'Well great... I have a wacko first period teacher, and a creep second period... What's next...?'
-
"Hello (Y/n)...Juliet!" Freddy practically jumpe towards the table, he was way louder than yesterday.
"Whoa Fred its not like you to be so out there." Juliet said looking from her tray. She seemed a tad gloomier than normal.
"I have found love~" He half shouted. Trevor glared over at his direction with slight confusion. "She's the most beautiful, kind, and loving person!!!" He bounced in his seat. He quickly caught the attention of the blue haired male approaching the table.
"Um, who are you and what have you done with Freddy?" Richie laughed and sat down next to Trevor.
"Love took him." I laughed, I actually had a tray of food to pick at today.
"Love? Who is it~" Richie looked over to him like he was joking.
"I can't say. Shes in this room." He gestured to the whole cafeteria.
"Who's in this room? There's about 100 girls in here." Jason muttered as he took his seat. I chuckled and filled him in on the situation.
"Seriously man, who?!" Richie pestered on. He was now leaning on the table.
"Well.... I don't exactly know if she really is any of the things I've said... but I like to think she is!" Everyone stared at Freddy as he slumped in his seat. He looked off into the distance as he began to eat.
"Well I wish you the best." I smiled. His face brightened.
"Thank you!" He got up and took his tray. "I-i have to go!" He rushed off.
"Weirdo..." Richie shrugged his friend's attitude and continued to eat. Everyone agreed and continued to eat their lunch.
-
I sat in my stool at our lab table. I was sat next to Jason, and a there was a dead pig in front of us. 'DISSECTION DAY' written in white chalk on the board. "(Y/n) and Jason will be partners as requested." The teacher quielty told us as he walked away from our desk and I looked over to Jason.
"Requested?" I asked.
"Yeah, I figured since you probably don't know any one here, we ought to be partners. Plus no one really wants to be mine because I always go to fast for them." He smiled and put on His goggles. "But you're a smart girl, I think we'll be just fine!" I slowly nodded and proceeded to adjust my goggles. He picked up the scalpel and stated early, grabbing the scalpel.
"Whoa whoa whoa what are yo-" before I could ask, he stabbed the knife into the piglet's stomach. "OH MY GOD!!" I whisper yelled. I covered my mouth with my gloves hands.
"Please, Ms.(L/n), refrain from yelling in the lab. We do not want anyone to get scared when there are sharp objects present." The teacher looked back at us. That class was staring at us and chuckled at my surprise.
"I-im sorry." I looked down and stared at the blood that dripped from the stomach.
"Are you not a fan of blood?" Jason asked with caution. I shook my head.
"Its not that...you just showed no mercy. You just went and stabbed the poor thing. The teacher didn't even tell us to do that yet!" I looked away not to make myself look like a total wimp.
"Im sorry, (Y/n), I didn't mean to scare you. Its just that every time I see dissection on the board I get so excited! I swear, I'm notsome freak, I'm just a big fan of anatomy." He nervously smiled and scratched the back of his head.
"Its... Its ok. Let's just get back to the dissection." I took a scalpel and cut up more of the pig as he took down the required notes. We finished and got an A+, or so the teacher said.
"Not a surprise from my best student." The teacher smiled at Jason and walked away. I looked up at him and he smiled.
"Well, that means we can go. Come on." Jason got up and packed his things. I copied, thought I was a little nervous that we shouldn't be leaving early. The teacher nodded and we left to our lockers. I walked beside him in silence, still a little shook up from seeing all the blood.
"That... That was a nice first class." I broke the awkward silence.
"Yeah. A dissection on the first day. I would of been so happy." Jason was looking down at his phone. I took a quick glance at his screen, seeing my name in the conversation he was having with someone. He change it as soon as I saw my name and looked at me, smiling. We got to my locker, and he watched as I opened it. He looked down at his phone as it buzzed, "Well see ya later, (Y/n)." He walked off before I could even look.
"See ya later, I guess..." I got my stuff and by the time I left, everyone was zooming out of the doors and shoving past everyone. My mother was waiting for me so I entered the car with my headphones on. I had no idea how I would even begin to explain my first day as a senior.
