I look at Luke, who is just frozen on top of me, looking at my mom. There's confusion in his eyes and I don't blame him. My mom really lost it.

"Why are you looking at me like that! Get off of her!" She's furious. But I am a 19 year old, who's in college. So I don't know what's the problem here.

Luke slowly climbs off of me and stands next to my bed. In a second the confusion and awkwardness is gone and a smirk paints on his face, "Well I didn't think we'd meet like this but my name is Luke Jones, I'm her fiance," he reaches his hand towards my mom, waiting for her to shake it.

My mom pales. She gasps and so do I. "FIANCE? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND EMMA GRACE?" She yells. I think she'll faint because she's grabbing the door handle, trying not to fall.

"Luke why would you say that?" I shoot him a glare and he chuckles, "I'm joking Mrs. Davis, we're just friends. Kind of," he winks at me and I roll my eyes.

My mom lifts her leg up, grabbing her slipper, "Oh you little fucker," she says and let's just say she's chasing him with a slipper to beat him up.

"Mom stop it," I hiss while Luke's just laughing and dodging my mom.

A deeper laugh is heard and I look at the door and I see my dad, hands on his knees, laughing. Next to him is my beloved brother with a phone in his hands, filming all of it while laughing with my dad.

"Daaad help," I whine and he walks towards my mother, still laughing, grabbing her by the waist and lifting her up, "that's enough Theresa," he chuckles while she's hitting his arms to let her go.

"Do you even know what they were doing?" Mom turns to dad.

"What could they possibly be doing that made you lose it?" He chuckles and she narrows her eyes at him.

"He was on top of her and kissing her! Do you believe that? You disgust me," she turned to Luke when she said the last part. Luke doesn't seem bothered by her at all. He's just standing there, hands in his pockets and smirking.

"Honey, you do realise that our daughter is 19 years old and she can have a boyfriend and she can kiss him and she can have sex with him if she wants to," he shrugs and then he looks at Luke, "but if you get her pregnant I will find you and I will kill you," he says in a serious tone, making Luke freeze.

"Do I make myslef clear?" He asks and Luke just nods.

"Oh my god dad," I whine.

"What? I'm still your father," he winks. "Now Theresa be polite and invite Emmy's new boyfriend to come and have lunch with us," he turns to my mom who is still furious.

"Not if he's going to be dressed like that," she remarks and eyes him from head to toe. He's wearing a simple white shirt, which is kind of a see through and you can see his abs and black pants.

"Why do you always have to be such a bi-" Luke covers my mouth before I could end my sentence and I'm kind of happy that he did.

"You do not speak of your mother that way Emma Grace," I hate it when she calls me by my first and second name.

"It's alright ma'am. I can go to the Gucci store right now and buy a tuxedo, if you want me to," Luke shrugs and a little spark is visible in my mother's eyes.

"Oh no. It's alright. You can do that some other time. Feel free to have lunch with us. Now let's go downstairs before it gets cold," such a gold digger. She always wanted me to have a rich boyfriend. I don't know why.

I roll my eyes, "and he's not my boyfriend."

"Yet" Luke finishes my sentence and winks at me. We head downstairs, Justin replaying the video and laughing at it.

My mom made chicken and rice. We sit behind the table, Luke sitting next to me.

"So what do your parents do for a living," of course that would the first thing she'd ask Luke. Gotta know how much money they have huh?

I personally couldn't give a slightest damn about finances but sure, mom.

"They own a company," he answers and she smiles at him. What a fake smile. Makes me disgusted.

"Is the profit good?" She asks him.

"That's enough mother. It's none of your business," I snap at her but she ignores me. I grab Luke's hand under the table, squeezing it.

"You could say so, yeah.." Luke trails off.

"So tell me more about your parents," she's pushing it now.

"Mother," I hiss through my teeth.

"What is it sweetie, can't I get to know your boyfriend a bit more?" She's acting all innocent now.

"One more question like that and we're leaving."

She rolls her eyes and continues eating.

"Lift your head up when you're eating," is she for real right now? I can't even eat in peace.

"That's enough Theresa," dad warns her.

I give him a thank you smile and he nods.

"What's up with your face?" Justin asks me.

"What's up with yours?" I say, forgetting about my cut.

"I meant, why are you all beat up? And why is he all beat up? Did you two fight eachother?" He's getting excited now.

"Some guy was causing trouble to Em," Luke answers for me and Justin nods.

"You're cool," he says to Luke, "and thanks for defending my sis."

Since when is Justin nice to me?

"You're not so bad yourself," Luke says to Justin, making him..blush? "And I will always make sure she's okay. If someone ever tries to hurt her, they're in big trouble," Luke's jaw tightens.

When we finished the food I'm still holding Luke's hand. I let go of it when we get up.

"We need to talk," I whisper to Luke and he nods.

We head upstairs, "Where are you two going?" My mom asks me but I grab Luke's hand and pull him behind me, ignoring her.

When we get to my room I make sure to lock it now. I don't want any unwanted guests aka. My mom.

I sit on my bed and signal Luke to sit besides me.

"Cool room," he laughs, looking at the posters, "an Avengers fan?"

"Even though I like the movies, this isn't mine. It used to be my room but it's my brother's man cave now," I sigh and Luke laughs.

"So question number one: what are you even doing here?" I ask him.

"Well.. I kind of wanted to spend my Christmas with you. And yesterday, when you told me you're leaving tomorrow I immediately went to buy the plane tickets to Michigan. I would say something faster but you were with that Jack-ass and then that Christian dude. I didn't want to beat anyone up, but when Christian asked you to be his girlfriend, I lost it," he sighs and looks down at his feet.

Is this real? Luke jones wants to spend Christmas with me? He flew all the way here with me, just so he could spend Christmas with me.

"How did you even know I'm from Michigan?" I never actually told him.

"I have my own ways with things," he just smirks and winks at me.

"Wait. So you were the hoodie dude?" It makes sense. Luke nods.

"But why do you want to spend it with me?" I'm no one special. And why doesn't he spend it with his parents?

"I really didn't want to be with my parents so I figured we could spend it together," he shrugs. I wanted to know more but the tone of his voice told me not to ask any more questions.

"You done with your interrogation?" He slightly chuckles and I nod.

Suddenly, loud banging is echoing all over my room. "Emma, Jay is here," my mom says, while banging on the door.

Oh my god. My best friend. How could I forget about him? Jayden Smith. The high school jock. He was the quarterback of the football team. All the girls were falling for him, but he's like a brother to me and I always felt weird thinking about him that way.

Luke grabbed my hand as soon as my mom mentioned Jayden but I quickly let it go, running to the door, to unlock it.

"Jay-jay!" I yell while running down the stairs. I can't wait to see him.

When I get downstairs, I can already smell his perfume. And that's when I see him. His shiny black hair and warm blue eyes are looking at me. He looks even more buff than he already was. What girls absolutely love about him is that he has black hair and blue eyes. It's so rare and I don't blame them. I would too if he wasn't like a brother to me.

"Hey Emily," he always jokes around with my name. Once a girl thought my name was Emilio, calling me like that for an entire year until I finally convinced her, my name is Emma, "how about a hug?" He shows his white pearls and I run to him and give him a bear hug.

"Ahh you're so strong," he says and I laugh. Luke clears his throat behind us and we both turn around.

"Hi I'm Luke, her boyfriend," he says and steps to Jay, offering him a hand.

Can he stop saying that?

"Hi Luke, I'm Jayden, her best friend," he smiles and shakes Luke's hand.

"A firm grip you have," Jay says and Luke smirks.

Luke steps to my side and wraps his arm around my waist, "Em let's go outside now," he smiles.

"No. Jay just got here and I haven't seen him in months," I say and Luke frowns. I can already see him freaking out about this later.

"Well have fun," Luke murmurs and storms out of the house. I roll my eyes.

"So, Jay, how are you? How is it in college? Football?" I bombard him with questions and he seats himself on the couch.

We talk for about an hour. And in that hour I found out that he has a girlfriend. An actual girlfriend. I was shocked when he told me that and I still am. He was kind of a player in high school. He told me that this psycho girl is stalking him, his grades are great and so is football. When I told him about my lip he almost lost it and wanted to go and find Christian, so he could kill him.

Then he had to leave because he was supposed to celebrate Christmas with his family.

"Too bad he had to leave so soon," my mom sighs.

"Sure," I murmur, thinking about where Luke went.

I guess I'll call him. I dial his number, but it goes straight to his voicemail.

Whatever. He couldn't go far, right? He'll probably be back soon.

And as if he heard me, the doorbell rings. I open the door and there he is.

"Sorry for leaving," he says, no emotion in his voice.

"Sure," I nod and let him in.

We sit on the couch.

He then starts ignoring me. He's trying not to look in my eyes. Or me for that matter.

"Why are you ignoring me?" I ask, turning my head towards him.

"Why are you a cheater?" He fires back, still not looking at me.

"What?" I snort. This is too much. If it's about Jay, it's too much.

"That Jayden dude," he says in disgust, while rolling his eyes, still not looking at me.

"That Jayden dude is my best friend. He's like a brother to me, I could never think of him like that," I defend myself. He really has jealousy issues.

"They always are," he sighs and looks at me, "but I'll let that one slide," he smirks at me and kisses me on my cheek.

The doorbell rings. Again. I get up And walk to the door. When I open it I see Christian.

"Can we talk?" He asks me and I can already feel Luke's presence behind me.

Oh boy.
