《A Melissa x Midoriya Fic》15: First day back

I wake up to my alarm clock blaring in my face. "Izuku, turn it off. Oh wait, I'm in my own dorm now!" I turn it off and jump off the bed and put on my clothes. I go downstairs and see everyone already up and at it. I notice the one person that I know in the support course, Hatsume. She looks over and runs towards me, "You're that new transfer from I-Island correct?" she says looking at me. "Yes I am. Melissa Shield," I reply putting out my hand for a handshake. She shakes my hand and walks over to finish some kind of machine. I grab some orange juice and pours it in a cup. "Hey, whatcha making Hatsume?" I ask taking a sip of my juice. "Just a support item for that Shoji guy. He wanted air jet boots, not to powerful, but not to weak. And I think I'm close to finishing them," she answers while screwing in one last thing.
"Hey, who wants to test this thing out?!" she yells out getting up and looking to the common room. A guy with a turtle shell on his back raised his hand and walked over to Hatsume. He put on the boots and activated them by putting extra pressure on the ankles. He started to hover and Hatsume started cheering. He started flying around pretty well and said it was a 10 out of 10. She takes them back and puts them in her bag and walking out. "If I'm correct, class doesn't start for another half hour, right?" I ask pointing at her. "It does, she's just really enthusiastic about building support items," some guy with fingers that look like magnets and spikey, silver hair answers. I shrug it off and finish my juice and eat a strawberry pop tart.

Everyone heads to class and I'm excited out of my mind. We sit down for a few minutes while Power Loader gives me a brief introduction before we all get to work. I start working on a new Full Gauntlet, though I can't use the tech back at I-Island, I'm sure I can make one just as strong, or possibly even stronger one. I only get to build a basic frame before the class ended for lunch. Our afternoon classes were the actual classes like math and others. I sit by Izuku and the Deku-squad, except for Uraraka, who's hanging out with the girls. Hatsume gave the air-jets to Shoji this morning and added it to his suit. Everyone's expecting it to be very useful and make him an even better hero. Lunch ends surprisingly fast and I give Izuku a goodbye kiss and I walk over to math class. The day was slow from then on, but I honestly didn't care because I was weirdly excited.
When the day was over, I went over to Power Loader's class to get some work on the Full Gauntlet. I texted Izuku I was going to stay late at his class every Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. I got the frame finished, and luckily Izuku let me measured his arm so I didn't need him to be a model. I thought I was on a good road ahead, and even Power Loader complimented me on the amount of work I've done in a short amount of time. I go to my dorm to take a shower and head to the Hero course dormitory. "Hey babe. How was your first day at U.A.?" Izuku askes as I sit next to him. "Pretty good, got a good amount of work on the gauntlet and I am happy to be back in your arms," I say hugging him and putting on the tv.

The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.
