《A Melissa x Midoriya Fic》14: Date Night
Advertisement
It was a day since Melissa and I started dating. Usually, she'd be packing up and leaving that night, but she decided to stay at U.A. and be a part of the Support Course. She told her dad and the school about her decision so she was packing so she'll be moved to a new dorm later today. "Izuku?" "Yeah sweetie?" "I can't close my suit case, could you help me?" "On it." I said walking over to her. I push down the suitcase while she zipped it up and put it beside the door. "Thanks," she said walking up to me with her hands behind her. "Anytime, I'm just glad you'll be with me instead of having a long-distance relationship," I said sitting down on the bed. "Agreed, but I think we could've managaed a long-distance relationship. Unlike the losers whose love isn't as strong as ours," she replies sitting next to me and leaning on my shoulder. I laughed a bit at her statement, "What're you laughing at? You don't think our love is strong enough?" she askes with questioning eyes. "Not saying that. Though are love is still pretty fresh so I don't think we could. But within a few months, we definitely could," I remark putting my arm around her. "I'd be mad if you weren't right," she says looking at the ceiling.
We go down for lunch and see that Kazuo guy on the couch watching tv. "Hey, Kazuo right? You waiting for Jiro?" I ask while Melissa walks to the kitchen. "Yeah. But I think she forgot I was coming over," he says looking back at me. "I'll get her for yah," I say pointing my thumb to the stairs. "Thanks, Midoriya right?" "Yep," I say walking back up the stairs to Jiro's room. I knock on her door and Jiro opens the door like she just woke up. "Sorry to interrupt but Kazuo is down stairs," I remind her while pointing back down the stairs. "Oh crap! Forgot he was coming over for a date! And it's usually the guys that forget. Thanks Midoriya," she yells freaking out and slamming the door. I walk down the stairs and see Kaminari walking up the stairs looking like he was going to get revenge. I don't even try talking to him and keep walking. "Hey, Jiro'll be down in a-" "I'm here! Sorry to keep you waiting babe," Jiro interrupts me while running towards him. "No worries. I'm fine with waiting," he says giving her a peck on the cheek. I hear Mina snickering from the hallway and then Jiro just glares.

They 2 walk out of the dormitory and Kaminari gets so angry he fries his brain and falls down the stairs. Everyone laughs while Iida and a few others help him up, even though he was completely fine. "Melissa, why don't we go on a date. Seems like it would be-" "I have been waiting for you to ask me that since yesterday!" she yells with her finger to my mouth. We planned on going to the park and to a cafe after she gets her dorm, so around 6 or 7. We spend the majority of the next 6 hours relaxing and training.
*
We were watching tv until Aizawa comes through the door and says in his usual monotone voice, "Shield, let's go get you your dorm." I grab my suitcase and bag and follow Mr. Aizawa. Izuku goes upstairs to get fixed up for later. We walk around the Heights Alliance and he follows me to a dorm next to Hatsume's. The dorm wasn't different from Izuku's, but I get to decorate it with my own stuff. I put down my suit case and grab my fancy clothes and take a shower before getting ready.
*
I walk down the stairs and see Izuku talking to Shoji and Ojiro. He notices me and waves goodbye to the others before walking up to me. "Hey, have you seen my girlfriend? She's blonde, wears glasses and the most beautiful person I've seen," he says with a jokingly confused face. "You're so corny. Come on, let's go!" I say locking arms with him and pointing to the door. We hear 'oohs' from the common area and I just to a taunting hair flip as to say, 'that's right. I know you're jealous.' I look back and see some of the girls with angry looks like they knew what I was gesturing.
We walk to the park and have a surprisingly nice time. Though it was just the park, it was nice feeding ducks and just enjoying the golden hour. We head to a small cafe and take a seat. He orders katsudon, because it's his favorite food, and I also order it because it looked really good on the menu, and I was weirdly craving it at the moment. We wait and just make small talk, though a question hit me in the head and I wanted an answer once it came to me. "Have you ever lied to me Izuku?" I ask swirling my drink with my straw. He coughs slightly and looks around before answering, "Sadly yes, but I have really good reasons behind it though." "It's fine, we're not a married couple," I say taking a sip of my drink. "Well, not yet at least," he adds putting his hand on mine. "Stop teasing Izuku," I say starting to laugh. "What, you don't want to marry me?" he teases more. "Not this early. But once we do get married, no more secrets!" I say getting serious. "By then, I hopefully would've told you," he says finishing his drink.

Our food arrives and it looked better than I thought it would, and it tasted even better. We didn't talk much while eating, but we heard a lot of conversations around us. One couple was talking about us, saying 'how cute' or 'how long do you think before they get married' and other compliments they kept to their self. But one couple we heard was right behind Izuku, and it was Jiro and Kazuo. When hearing it, Izuku looked over and said, "Jiro and Kazuo?" "Oh, you also came here? Lemme guess, on a date with Melissa?" she says finishing her soba. I get up and wave slightly before sitting back down. "Well this is a nice coincidence! 2 couples on a date! It's like a sitcom!" Kazuo yells putting his arms up.
Though the happiness ended quickly ended when we heard a crashing from down the street (). We looked out the window and see a guy that has a scorpion quirk. He uses his tail to sting people and break windows to rob them. Kazuo unzips his jacket to reveal his blue hero suit and puts on his headphone/glasses. He shows off his provisional hero liscense and runs out of the cafe. Izuku does the exact same and gives me an 'I'll be fine look.'
I run out with Kazuo right in front of me. The villain sees us and hisses while running up to us. He prepares to sting us until Kazuo sings in english "And I know that we'll be safe and sound," and an invisible barrier appears around us so the villain's attack is in affective. "What kind of quirk is this?" he hisses. "Syncronise, allows me to attack when singing," he says putting two fingers up, the barrier falls, and he kicks the villain back. I charge my arm with Lightning and shoot a blast at the scorpion villain and he flies back a bit. He crawls back up to us while I prepare to kick him into next week, but Kazuo puts his arm up to stop me. "Let Treble handle this," he declares while taking 2 paces forward. "In a tidal wave of mystery," he sings putting his arm forward while a huge wave of mist flows over us and the villain turns into a living teddy bear. He struggles while I pick him up. "I'll take down the affect when he gets contained. Hope I didn't take to much of the spot light. Just wanted to impress Jiro," he says with remorse. "How'd you make him into a teddy bear?" I ask handing it to the cops and us showing out liscences. "It was a random affect by my tidal wave of mystery. Thank you American music," he says looking up and making a musical stopping motion after the cops cuff the bear.
We walk back to the cafe and the girls hug us and say in a jumble of words "We're so glad you're safe!" We all walk back to the dorms and Kazuo kisses Jiro goodbye while singing something and jumping away (). We walk in and everyone is in bed, so that's where we go. Melissa was going to head to her dorm to sleep. But not before giving her a kiss and hug goodbye. I walk up to my dorm and surprisingly not getting bombarded by the girls. I go to bed happy and satisfied with the day, but also slightly empty without Melissa by my side.

Hi, this is my first novel because writing looks fun and I tend to be incredibly bored a lot. I don't know if I'm any good so please tell me what I'm doing wrong as a review Chapters will come out whenever I feel like a reponsible person PS: I am a very indescisive person so the synopsis will change a lot, have fun with that. PPS: I am terrible at writing synopsises. So I'm reading this a few years later and my god its shocking no one shot me in the head when I was younger. But uh, people have been DMing me asking if this story has stopped, which it has. (why was I allowed on the internet during my EdgeLord Phase, I don't know, but someone really should have stopped me) But thanks to all the people who read this, it really does mean a lot.

A Demon Lord's Reincarnation
Selina’s got a pretty active imagination. When doing math, she pretends that she is a great detective solving a heinous crime! Ordinary tasks, like a trip upstairs, turn into a perilous adventure to raid a dragon’s cave! She believes that life should be full of wonder and magic, and tries to force the world to cope with her conviction! But when Selina wakes up to remember her past life as the Demon Lord, she has to face the fact that real life is messy, and not anything like what she imagined. With ancient powers stirring, family problems, and the hectic life of a teenager, Selina will have to discover more about herself if she is going to survive the trials ahead. With the help of her best friend and a fair share of luck, she might just get through this alive. Maybe. (Updates (hopefully) on Sundays) This story started out as a flipped isekai. Instead of a hero being pulled into a medieval world, a Demon Lord is pulled into the modern world. It has since moved a bit beyond that initial premise but it is the foundation of the work. Along the way, I threw in dragons, elves, dwarves, and some vampires (but no werewolves, gotta nip that in the bud) all wrapped up in the political drama of a modern world. The story, however, will mainly focus on the characters and their development and as such, is a bit of a slow burn. It may take a couple of chapters to get into. You have been warned! (PS, please show patience for the author's notes. They're a bit crazy and don't always make the most sense. The author's a bit of a ditz. Please ignore him.)

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
