《A Melissa x Midoriya Fic》11: 4 Days Left

It was around 9 and I came back after some extra training I had with All Might. Melissa was doing something back in the dorm and I was going to see what she was up to soon, but first, I was going to eat something. I trained so much I lost more calories than I took in at breakfast. I grabbed a waffle and actually ate it frozen. I ate about 3 frozen waffles before remembering what I was doing and went to go check on Melissa. I threw my frozen waffle a random direction and it hit Mr. Aizawa, but luckily he didn't know where it came from.
I walk in the room and see her asleep on my desk with her face on her journal. She still had a tight grip on the pencil which I found weirdly hilarious. I draped a blanket over her shoulders and went to hang out with some of the guys. "Hey Midoriya! Me and the guys are going to the park. Wanna come with?" Kaminari said while walking up to me. "Sure, why not?" I reply with a thumbs up. "Well what about your busty bitch Deku?" Bakugo says with a sarcastic smirk. "Well what about yours Kacchan? You know, the one you're cuddling with," I say with harsh sarcasm. Kirishima forcefully laughs and tries to hold Bakugo down while he makes explosions in his hand. "I thought we settled on you not calling me that and I don't treat you like a piece of shit?" Bakugo yells almost blowing up the red head hugging his waist.
We head to the park shortly after and just have a good time. Kirishima tries to get Bakugo to do some stuff and he willingly agrees, Kaminari thinks of ways to spoil Jiro's relationship with that Shiketsu guy, Shinso catches the eyes of several girls while an abandoned kitten catches his, and Mineta tries to flirt with the girls who were swooning over Shinso and ultimately got wrecked. I was just surprised on the amount of attention Shinso was getting and the amount of attention he was giving a stray cat. He decided on keeping it, since he and Aizawa had a good relationship and he was a sucker for cats as well. We were actually there for most of the day without realizing it and kinda just drifted along the day, also taking Mineta to the hospital because the Grapist doesn't know when or how to quit.

I just finished lunch and was anticipating my appointment. I have no idea why I was so excited for it, but I was just so happy to truly share my feelings with someone. Guess I actually did know why I was so excited. I was prepping myself for this, trying to look presentable but not try to hard. After about an hour of trying different looks, I decided my usual look, mainly because I got tired. After that I was just waiting for about 2 hours until having to drive to my appointment. It was a surprisingly long drive and I only recently got my license so I was pretty nervous on such a long drive.
When I got there, I only waited about 5 minutes before a tall, long haired woman with bright green eyes and glasses walks out. "Ochako Uraraka?" she says adjusting her glasses and looking up from her clipboard. I put my hand up then walk up to here. "That's me," I said excitedly. "Okay, come with me," she orders while waving me into her office. We sit down and she types something on her computer than turns to me. "I am Dr. Devamayi, I'll be your therapist for who knows how long. So Uraraka, do you want the quick introduction or the long introduction?" She asks while leaning forward. I think and just go with my instincts, "The quick intro?" I say with slight worry. Her eyes glow and physically, I pass out, but mentally, I appear in a black room of nothing.
"Did I just-" "You did not die, this is the quick introduction. It's my quirk, Mindscape. Allows me to enter in someone's mind, or let them enter mine and create illusions to trick them. It also allows we to know everything about my opponent," she says walking on nothingness and creating a small world around us. "Okay, pretty big break up with this Midoriya kid. Still mourning, feelings of jealousy because you think he's going to be stolen by this blonde beauty even though he's not yours anymore, and you were anticipating this appointment big time because you wanted this all off your chest for real," she says looking at me while finishing the world around us. "Woah, you got that all correct. Even though I didn't say it, I still got a lot off my chest," I say putting a hand on my chest in surprise. The world disappears and I wake up and we're already outside. "So, I'll see you at your next appointment Uraraka. Glad to have you as my patient. Sorry if it seemed quick and I looked intimidating," she tells me with a remorseful smile.

I set up an appointment in 9 days and go home feeling like I activated my quirk on myself. But instead, I activated it on my car and start to float. I deactivate it and continue my drive laughing a lot to myself. For once since I met Deku, I actually forgot about him, even if it was for a minute. I honestly felt like celebrating with myself and grabbed a tub of mochi on the way home.

A chance encounter on her first day plunges her headfirst into a secret underground tournament. Cutthroat games with grim consequences await her in a shadowy world of competitors all dueling for the greatest prize imaginable. A new story from Etzoli, that one butterfly who writes things. This is a side-adventure I've written during the pandemic, as I've been having a lot of trouble getting into the correct head-space for writing my main series (The Last Science). Expect some rougher bits. Schedule is sporadic, but this will be a shorter one (closer to Snipe or Epilogue in length). I hope you enjoy it! Sufficiently Advanced
A Novella about magic vs aliens vs science. It's a raucous, campy sci-fi read involving humans gaining magic, a possibly pizza-hating alien empire, the decapitation of the US Federal Government, eldritch abominations, lesbian space witches and some medium-hard science.I wouldn't say it's not serious, but I wouldn't say it's serious. Eh, it's not serious. Wait... it's getting serious.

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. If you want to read it all ahead of schedule and get access to some premium-exclusive bonus content, the entire book is available for purchase; links to the appropriate storefront pages will be posted at the end of each chapter. This story is also being posted to Scribblehub.
