(Y/N) was acting weird. Her actions were strange ever since she got sick just a few days ago. None of the members, neither her brother, knew what was going on with her.

Hyun Tae guessed it was 'that time of the month' but when he asked, she said it wasn't. Her actions became more confusing day by day.

"She's staring in the distance again..." Han nudged Hyun Tae.

"(Y/N) was absent minded a while ago too. She put salt in her coffee instead of sugar. The difference between the two is distinguishable though.." Hyunjin placed his palm on his cheeks then sighed.

"Jeongin, was she doing anything weird in school?" Chan looked at the maknae.

"She acted very strange actually!" His eyes grew wide as if he remembered something disturbing.

"During break time, she immediately takes out her phone and smiles so much!" He shared the information to the other members. They all gasped.

'Was she texting someone?'

'Was it the reason of her strange actions?'

'It must've been a guy right?'

'It's the only thing that could happen'

'She kept smiling so that means--'

'It's impossible, but also possible--'

'(Y/N) has someone she's interested in!'

Although none of them spoke. With just eye contact, they were able to understand each others thoughts. In unison, they all looked at the only girl in the dorm. They gasped once again.

Just then, they saw a shocking scenery.

Her dark oak hair danced along with the light wind that moved across the window. Her hair strands glistened along with the bright sun that was slowly moving down. It stood out even more due to the yellowish hue tint in the sky.

She sat by the window with her head resting on her palm as she stared in the distance. Her lips curled up into a smile unconsciously. (Y/N) covered her mouth with the palm that was on her face when she realized something and let out a small chuckle.

She just remembered a video Ah Yun showed her one time that was really funny. That's why she smiled.

However, for the members, it looked like she was lovestruck. When they watched (Y/N), they gasped.

They gathered around each other and created a circle, leaning forward. None of them could utter a word and just looked at each other. Somehow, through their gazes, they understood one another.

"Does anyone have an idea who the guy is?"

They all shook their head, 'no'.

The members took a short glance towards (Y/N) and then paused. She was using her phone. Most likely to be 'texting' someone. They turned their heads back to each other with their eyebrows raised.

'She's DEFINITELY talking to someone'

A small rustle was heard. (Y/N) got up and walked to her room with her eyes glued to the screen of her phone. She was smiling. Their eyes followed her until she closed the door. They were left confused and speechless.

"Should we follow her around?" Minho suggested. All of them agreed as if stalking (Y/N) wasn't a weird and creepy thing to do.

A few moments later, she got out of her room dressed up in a white long-sleeved loose blouse and a maroon skirt that reached her knees.

"Why are you going out like that?" Hyun Tae questioned his sister.

"Like what?", She replied.

"Why are you wearing those clothes when your going out?" He asked again. (Y/N) crumpled her forehead, confused by the questions her brother was asking.

"I wear skirts sometimes, not always but I usually wear these as match-ups" she shrugged then went towards the door to put shoes on.

"She usually wears pants though.." Felix muttered. She does-- but as ALEX.

(Y/N) entered a cake shop and ordered a red velvet cake. She also got two americano's-- both hot and cold. While she walked outside with the food she ordered, nine guys were watching from at least 4 meters away from her.

She stopped, and they stopped. They thought she noticed then but she plugged in her earphones and played music, before she continued to walk. After 10 minutes, she arrived. She walked in an apartment building. The members froze in their movement, shocked at the place (Y/N) entered.

"..."

"Let's go. We need to stop whoever that bastard it and whatever he's planning" Chan signalled to go forward.

The elevator that (Y/N) entered in already closed. They looked at the number above the elevator door, '13'. The 13th floor. There ,was only one working elevator so they had no other choice but to run to the stairs.

Ding!

The elevator already reached the 13th floor and she got off. Just a minute later, all of them followed with short breaths and sweat.

She knocked on the door and the members, still catching their breaths, quietly moved behind her. She was still unconscious of them tailing behind her.

Knock Knock

The door slowly opened and the members were getting ready to punch the guy.

"(Y/N), you're here!" Ah Yun hugged her as soon as the door swung open.

"Happy Birthday!" (Y/N) smiled back at her then handed her the cake. Afterwards, she slid her hand in her pocket to give the gift she prepared-- a bracelet. However, she couldn't find it.

"Uhmm about your gift--" (Y/N) was about to open her mouth but Ah Yun cut her off.

"YOU BROUGHT THEM TO MY BIRTHDAY PARTY?!?!" Ah Yun was in shock.

'What?'

"Thank you soooooo muchhhh!!! This was, so far, the best gift you've given me!" She hugged me again but tighter.

'Oh, so you didn't like the other gifts I've given you? Ha! Geez... But wait-- what gift?'

She turned around to see what was behind her.

"..."

All eight guys and her brother were gathered up behind her with nervous smiles on their faces.

'We thought it was a guy...'

They all thought the same thing.

"What are you guys doing here?" (Y/N) questioned them. They avoided eye contact but Seungmin wasn't able to.

"We just wanted to follow you..." he said.

"You guys do know that that sounds creepy" she replied.

"It's not--"Minho responded.

"It is." She sighed.

The atmosphere was getting weird so Changbin decided to change the topic, "You've been smiling a lot because of your phone lately... What's the reason?"

He went direct to the point. All of them stayed quiet to listen to (Y/N). They gasped at what they saw-- she was BLUSHING.

"Wait don't tell me there really is--" Hyun Tae stood up.

"Actually...." she started.

"Actually, I started reading a novel when I got sick and started to kind of have a small crush on the second lead... Gosh... My face is getting all red again" (Y/N) laughed it off with a bright smile.

"It isn't harmful to like a fictional character right?" She clasped her hands, still with a smile on her face.

"..."

In contrast to the bright mood of (Y/N) were the members who couldn't say anything.

'A fictional character... Seriously?'

It felt like they were slapped with a hard brick.
