《Please Stay[Stray Kids × Reader]》[Chapter 16] Drawing

"Yo, you've been playing games for hours. (Y/N) we still have homework." Jeongin peeked from the door. Felix and I groaned.
"Why is a maknae nagging us?" I complained. We tried to bargain with Jeongin to at least have another three rounds, but he disapproved.
"Let's go" Jeongin pulled my arm and dragged to the living room. Papers and books were placed on top of the center table, not to mention other materials.
"Wait, let me get my stuff. Oh and I think I would borrow your book today, I left mine at school yesterday" I rushed to my room and got my things.
When I got back, Jeongin had already cleared out a spot for me. I organized my pens, pencils, and papers then sat down.
"What was the assignment again ?" I asked him, who was skimming through his book.
"Drawing a friend..." he sharpened his pencil before glancing at me.
"Wanna draw each other?" I nudged his arm. He looked at me, squinted his eyes, then shrugged. It won't be that bad right...?
We started to draw. We alternately took glances at each other once in a while. It was a peaceful atmosphere although Felix and Seungmin were playing games, shouting at each other.
When I was already at his hair, his head suddenly appeared in front of me. He leaned and bended down to look at my face. His was around 4 inches away from mine.
"Dude. What ya doin?" I asked him, raising my brow.
"You didn't look at me for around 10 seconds, I couldn't wait anymore." He replied, still in the position.
"And you had to bend to look at me?" I looked at him with a serious face. He thought about it and then finally pulled his head away. He shook his head to respond to my question then he continued drawing.

I took a short look at his paper and it looked decent. However, mine... yeah it's okay... I guess...
"I'm done, you?" He asked, shaking his paper. I nodded then proudly waved my paper in front of him. He looked surprised and speechless. I couldn't read his expression.
" Alex... did anyone tell you that you have a talent for drawing...?" He asked.
"Does it look that good? Thank you~" I hummed in excitement. I took a picture of it and immediately sent it to HyunTae.
"Oh, have you heard? There's an upcoming competition about dance in school. It's something about choreographing I guess." He said.
"We'll see" I replied, a bit hesitant.
____
The older members already arrived home. They approached us, curious about what Jeongin and I were doing.
"Hyung-- ah.. Oppa, I drew him" I smiled brightly at Chan then held my drawing beside Jeongins face . He blinked twice then his face went blank.
"Did anyone tell you that you have a talent for drawing...?" He looked shocked.
"Does it look good?" I asked everyone who was present and showed it to the one by one. They all had weird expressions written on their faces.
"Yeah..." they all said in unison before walking slowly towards their rooms.
My phone rang and it was HyunTae. As soon as I answered the call, "HAHAHAHA THAT WAS THE WORST I'VE SEEN YOU DRAW SO FAR!! HAHAHAHAHA HHAHAHAHAAHA HAHAHAHHH AHAHAHA HAHAHAH" He wheezed and laughed so hard. I had to wait and listen to him laughing hysterically for two whole straight minutes.
"Was it really that bad...?" I asked him, ashamed and embarrassed of myself for showing the drawing to the other members proudly.
"VERY. ABSOLUTELY. TOTALLY. CERTAINLY. The eyes are too far apart, the jawline is too high, you made his forehead too wide, his mouth... no comment... " He laughed again. I sighed in disappointment.

"Look. I can cook, you can draw. We inherited different genes" I said to him, rolling my eyes to his bluntness.
"Why not search up a photo of him in the internet then trace it since you guys are already popular. Finished~" He suggested.
"That's actually a good idea" I started to look through the best photos of Jeongin I could find it the internet. When I saw mine on the similar photos... I paused then sighed. It's originally HyunTae's face... not mine.
"Ya thinking about something? You became silent" he sounded worried from the other end. I smiled then said that I needed to hang up already. The call ended and I scrolled down my pictures I saw on the Internet. It's Alex... not me.

8 167An Extra-Ordinary Story about Ordinary People
In a different world, a different reality, where ordinary people occasionaly have extra-ordinary powers for no particular reason, we follow a number of characters, trying their best to live in this strange yet normal world. We have our first character, a currently nameless but sentinent creature who happened to find himself in the body of a strange fungus after an unknown incident that robbed him of not only his former body but of his memory, as well. Secondly, we follow Smith, a high-standing man who doesn't even need to explain which Smith he is, on top of the world, yet human enough to meet said fungus. And thirdly, we have another nameless character, who is burdened by the ability to summon things that he doesn't want. A charming gang, who will (most likely) meet at some point. --- All and all, it's a twist on the common super-hero world, where all super-heroes have somehow dissappeared, but not the possibility for new ones. The series that feature the mushroom-dude are the 123 ones, the stories that feature Smith are the ABC ones, and the ones that feature our newest character, the summoner-dude, are the abc ones. Neat, huh? Also, just a word of warning? The 123 ones are kind wierd, and you can skip the first few chapters and go straight to the ABC ones without missing too much. But I'd rather you didn't, since i really enjoyed writing them. In ABC and abc, the format changes to a more typical form, with proper grammar and stuff. So if you dont like the 123, I'd love it if you gave the ABC a chance :^) Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it!
