《Please Stay[Stray Kids × Reader]》[CH. 5] Hands on Mine

A few days passed and my sprain got a little better since the incident. But the thought of walking around like a zombie troubled me for some time. It was around 11:18 AM at the moment and some of the other members said they went out to look for a place for all of us to eat at.
I was on my way to the practice room. As I was walking by, there was an empty room that had a keyboard right at the corner. I got curious so I went in. Looking around, a thought passed my head. It was the song I was working on until now.
"Just for a moment..." I mumbled to myself as I plugged the keyboard and turned it on. I pulled out the round wodden chair and adjusted myself to it.
I started reading the lyrics I've made so far then played the keys at the same time.
"There's always someone better... Don't think you're at the top. If you get too high, it will hurt more when you fall..." I stared into my notebook for a while, thinking on what word would fit in. The I heard a whisper, "hey".
I jumped in my seat with my hand placed on my chest, shocked to see company. I turned my head up to see Changbins face from the bottom.
"Yo!" I waved my hand at him
"Are you composing something? The lyrics... Uhmm nevermind... I think it's better if you do that part like this" he placed his fingers on top of mine while he was still behind me. Changnin started to play the notes but with half-notes in-between them. There was more flavor than how it sounded a while ago, I was quite thankful for that. It sounded a hundred times better than the first. He let go of my hands

"Should I fix the lyrics?" I asked him. He nodded.
"The others already found a place, let's go" he titled his head towards the door. We headed out and met up with the others at the lobby.
"What took you so long, we were starving here y'know" Han patted his belly and pouted.
"We just took three minutes, what's wrong with your clock?" Changbin squinted his eyes with his brows furrowed.
"Let's just go already, I'm starving~" Han replied.
The restaurant was only 15 minutes away so we decided to walk. Jeongin was beside me when we made our way to the restaurant.
"Uhmm, I kind of have bad news.." he whispered, trying not to be so obvious so that the other members wouldn't notice.
"Does anyone else know about it?" I asked him with worry. He nodded. I couldn't help but sigh. It's hard to keep it a secret.
"Who is it?"
"Felix" he said.
"How?" I nudged him.
"Remember how your wig fell off yesterday?" He answered.
"He saw it and told Chan hyung about it first. In the end, Hyung had to explain it to him" he added.
"He was making fun of me at the practice room..." I felt annoyed about it.
"Sorry?" Jeongin asks, I smiled at him then shook my head , "nothing".
"We have arrived!" Chan spreaded his arms in front of a Chinese restaurant. We entered and the interior looked amazing with the lights and decorations. We were able to find a table where the Nine of us could sit in. The restaurant wasn't that crowded at least.
Everyone else ordered something spicy but only Seungmin and I didn't.
"We thought you loved spicy food, what happened?" Hyunjin asked taking a bite of his food.

"Maybe it's a change of preference" Chan replied back for me. I silently said thank you at him and he smiled back.
" Just eat a little bit" Minho, who was sitting beside me suggested offering me a piece of meat in his chopsticks. I couldn't let the others be suspicious of me so I gave in. I ate the whole piece of meat Minho was giving. He looked like he was on the verge of laughing.
There was nothing at first then after three seconds, it hit me. The spiciness was too much to handle. I couldn't contain myself so I shouted, "Hyung!!"
"Oh? What's wrong?" He obviously had a mischievous smile on his face.
"I-It's too h-hot..." I could feel my eyes swelling up with tears, and something sliding down my nose.
"It tastes fine, I just added a little hot sauce on it " he patted my back with a bright smile.
The other members laughed at the sight because of the visual contrast. Minho, all happy and smiling, while I was next to him with my nose red and eyes squinted.
It's spicy...
"It's not... Just... A little..." More tears fell down and my tongue was burning.
"Ahhaha, sorry~ Here drink some iced tea" he gave me my cup. I looked at it suspicious and shook my head.
"I didn't do anything to it!" He smiled brighter.
"It kinda looks sus..." In the end, I got the drink from his hands and hesitantly drank it. Thank goodness it was fine.
"See? I told you" he started to pat my head again.

Of Frost and Steel
After being kicked out of home by her own parents, Emily found herself living in the house of an old woman while working as a plumber to help pay the bills. Her slightly unusual but still very normal life came to an abrupt end one day when an incoming car crashed into hers. When she next opened her eyes, she found no ambulance or hospital room waiting for her. What she found were instead the faces of beings much larger than her who were not entirely human, and the opportunity to live a new life, free of her old one. WARNING: This fiction is dedicated to a friend of mine who spent twelve years of her life hiding who she was because she feared the reaction of her family. For this reason it contains LGBT themes, although they won't be the sole or main focus of the story. The story contains sexual themes, but I will try to keep them to a minimum or make them "fade to black". Chapters will be around 1000 words long and without a fixed release schedule, for the moment.
