I was fighting for about three minutes, a constant dodging and reflecting their curses and spells back on them, I had found out that if I tilted riptide just right, I can direct the way that the curse bounces off. Then a tall, thin, man with snake like features, came forward, immediately the flashing lights stopped and I knew from my dreams that this was him,
"Ah, Percy Jackson, the mysterious figure, I'm glad to finally meat you," he said evenly, my guard was still up, not willing to lower it, if Dumbledore was bad, I shuddered at the pure dark energy coursing from this guy. He just felt... wrong. I narrowed my eyes at him and sank lower into my stance,
"Now- now, I think we don't have to do that," he said, "Accio sword," He flicked his wand but I dodged, and hung onto Riptide,
"If you don't want to fight then what do you want?" I asked,
"I want you to join our cause, the ministry is corrupt, I'm sure that after a year of babysitting them you know that," Voldywart said, causing me to raise an eyebrow at him,
"You're point?" I asked,
"Come join me," he said, "You can rebuild the ministry to your liking," I relaxed, still holding onto riptide but staring straight at him. I could feel the confidence poor from him,
"I don't want to rebuild the ministry- I just want to protect the children in my charge, be it from you or Dumbeldore I don't care frankly," I said his, what I assume were... eyebrows? eyebones?
Man, he looked more like a greek monster than a human-er muggle? wizard? wizards do have funny looks- that may be an England thing tho... well no. when we crossed the sea I don't know if we ended up in England... I don't think we did but boarders don't really mean a lot to demigod quests, although-

"I can guarantee the protection of your students if that's what you desire," Voldywort said cutting through my thoughts and I laughed,
"Look dude," I snorted, "I don't believe you, frankly I don't care about your war I've dealt with enough in my own time."
Voldywarts stared at me for a minute before nodding and putting away his wand.
"I can sense that you're powerful Percy Jackson." He said, "And if you will not raise your sword to me other than in defense, I see no reason to fight you," I raised my actually excitant eyebrows.
"Seriously?"
"Yes. I have been told that you do not have the prejudices others have. And although I do not know what you are, you are no wizard, nor are you muggle. So you are not my concern,"
I lowered riptide slowly, "So, you are allowing me to declare myself neutral?" I asked- this was certainly... unexpected
"Yes." Voldywarts said nodding and gesturing to his followers behind him, and slowly one by one they disappeared. huh. So Voldywarts was reasonable...
Who would've thought a child murder was reasonable.
"You on the other hand Dumbledore- you have already chosen your side, Percy Jackson- does your protection extend to Dumbledore?" He asked, staring daggers at the old man who had just appeared behind me. I shook my head just as Dumbledore opened his mouth.
"It was foolish to come here tonight, Tom," Dumbledore said, "The Aurors are on their way-,"
"By which time I shall be gone, and you dead!" Voldywarts spat, sending a bright green light towards the old man, and missing completely. He was worse at this than I was at Archery! how was this guy a mass murderer?

"You do not seek to kill me, Dumbledore?" he taunted, "Above such brutality, are you?"
"We both know that there are other ways of destroying a man, Tom," Dumbledore said, still calm. I looked over to him, as he continued, "Merely taking your life would not satisfy me, I admit-," this felt personal. This went beyond a war.
"There is nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!" Voldyworts snarled and I raised my hand,
"Er- I can attest that there are, like an angry girlfriend for example," I pointed out, causing everyone's attention to fall on me, I shrugged,
"What it's true!" I protested, and Dumbledore just shook his head,
"There!" A voice called and spinning everyone turned to see Cornelius Fudge and his entourage, "I saw him, Mr. Fudge, I swear, it was You-Know-Who!"
Voldyworts cursed and sent one last jet of light before disappearing,
"I saw him too!" Squeaked Corneilus and I smirked at him, turning away from the disappearing
"Hello Cornelius, can I borrow your wand real quick?" I asked, he squeaked again but +nodded furiously, handing it over quickly,
"O-OH! Of course!" He gushed,
"Episkeví!" I called, waving the stick around, and the selves jerked straight up, orbs collecting themselves and placing themselves neatly back in their places,
"Sorry about the mess, but that should fix it," I said handing him back his wand
"N-No! T-Thank you!" He stuttered and I grinned patting him on his shoulder as I walked back to the trio, who were hanging back behind the group of politicians,
"Come on you three, let's get you back to Hogwarts," I said, they looked at me like I had lost my head, which I mean, I thought it was still there, I reached up to check, a sharp pain shooting down my arm.
"Oh." I said looking down at it, "I might want to do something about that," I frowned down at it a bit before reaching across and popping it back into place. Sighing as the pop sounded out across the silent halls. I looked around at everyone looking at me again, I tilted my head, what was it now?
Finally, Dumbledore cleared his throat offering me a head of a statue, I snickered a bit at it, I wonder what Terminus would think of that. Probably be offended that I compared him to an 'ordinary lump of rock'
"Take this, you too, you three," Dumbledore said ushering us over, I glanced at him for a moment,
"Don't need me anymore then?" I asked and Dumbledore looked over at me, a smile spreading across his face,
"Are you ready to leave?" he asked just as we placed our hands on the head and the world spun. I grinned at the trio as we landed in the Gryffindor Wing,
"Well- I think you'll find, that in the morning, things will be in order once again," I said, smiling at the trio in front of me. and turning around to leave,
"Wait! Professor! Does Umbridge leaving mean you will as well?" Harry asked and I looked over my shoulder, shrugging,
"I don't know, that was the original plan," I looked down at my hands, "Get some sleep, things will change in the morning, for the good or bad,"
