It was great to be back at camp, and after further deliberation, the gods allowed me to stay in London permitting that my father taught me vapor travel, which would've been so useful in the past but noooo let's just let Percy trek all over North America. I sighed as I sat back down in my bunk. Thinking back to all the fun I've had in this camp. I smiled, looking around one more time before dissolving myself.
"It's my house, you see-," I heard as I concentrated on absorbing my atoms back together.
I grunted and stumbled a bit,
"Well, that's new," Severus drawled causing me to smile up at him,
"I've been practicing," I said frowning down at my left hand, which seemed to be encased in a bubble of water, I shook it slightly and it splattered all over him, Harry, and Sirus,
"Obviously," Severus said unconvinced, "And where have you been?"
"Family politics," I smiled, going a little doe-eyed, "Wise Girl took me," Severus snorted,
"Well then, glad to see you in high spirits," Severus said before turning back to Harry, "I am here on Dumbledore's orders,"
"Aren't we all?" I asked leaning back, "What's this about anyways,"
"The headmaster has sent me to tell you, Potter, that it is his wish for you to study Occlumency this term,"
"Yeah, we know that, what's the point?" I asked
"How do you know that?" Severus asked and I looked over to him confused,
"I was the one who told Dumbledore he needed it, I've been coaching Harry on it a bit here and there, but he needs a real teacher," I explained and Severus' eyes narrowed at me,
"Perseus Jackson, did it ever occur to you who Dumbledore would ask to teach Harry Occlumency?" he asked taking a step towards me, I paused

"Er- no? Wait." My eyes widened as I released, "Woah Woah there, Sevy- let's be reasonable about this," I said hands raising in surrender, he growled and lunged at me, my eyes widened I disintegrated again, landing on my desk at Hogwarts, I sighed relaxing back. That was a close call. Now all I had to do was hid until the students got back, he couldn't kill me then... most likely.
That was what I thought until I realized, I'd promised to be at Harry's occlumency meeting. I groaned as I trudged down the halls to Severus' room
"-Muggles talk of 'mind reading'"
"Hey! Mind reading is pretty cool" I said walking into the classroom, lightening Harry's face up almost immediately,
"And what are you doing here?" Severus asked and I rolled my eyes,
"Don't be so protective Sevy, I promised Harry that I would be at his lessons so here I am," he glared slightly but seemed to relax more.
"Alright anyways, the mind is not a book, it is more-,"
"I don't think he knows Harry has a connection with him yet," causing Severus to raise his eyebrow,
"Harry's been able to toss him out three times already, he wouldn't allow Harry to do that if he was willingly trying to penetrate Harry's mind,"
"I see, well then let's get right into things, shall we? Stand and take you your wand, Potter," Severus said causing me to look at him concerned, I walked toward Severus,
"Hey Sevy, take it easy on him, nothing too personal, okay?" I whispered and Severus looked reluctantly nodded,
"Ready Legilimens!" Severus cried and I watched the two for a moment before Harry's wand let out a light, that raced for Severus. Harry started to fall to his knees but I reached out and stabilized him,

"Did you mean to produce a stinging hex?" Severus asked,
"No," Harry admitted bitterly and I looked between the two, letting Harry go to stand on his own,
"I thought not. You let me get in too far. You lost control." Severus said
"Did you see everything I saw?" Harry asked and Severus looked towards me,
"Yes Potter, that is the point of the spell," Harry gritted his teeth,
"Why don't you try it, Professor?" Harry asked turning towards me,
"I- I- what?" I asked, "You want me to go through your thoughts?"
"That wouldn't work," Severus drawled, but his eyes looked panicked, "It can't be someone you would willingly let into your head," Harry looked at me pleading and I sighed going down on one knee to be eye-level with the boy,
"Harry, think back to what I taught you, this is going to be intrusive and you might relive memories that you'd rather leave in the past, but you have to push him out." I said calmly as I could, "I know you don't like him, but I trust Severus with my life,"
"Well, for a first attempt that was not as poor as it might have been," Severus said drawing my attention as I grinned at him, "You managed to stop me eventually, though you wasted time and energy shouting. You must remain focused. Repel me with your brain and you will not need to resort to your wand," I turned to Harry, still grinning,
"Hear that? Sevy thinks you did amazing!" I said and his anger let way to confusion,
"He- what?" Harry asked,
"That's enough Percy, Potter, clear your mind, let go of all emotion," Severus instructed and I stood up,
"Just like we did Harry," I whispered, nodding towards Severus.
"Let's go again, on the count of three, one- two- three- Legilimens!" Severus flung the spell at Harry, and it was still for a second before Harry let out a scream, I pushed Severus back, breaking the connection and grabbing Harry.
"Focus on you breathing," I whispered, "It's okay Harry, your memories are your past," I looked towards Severus who nodded and put away his wand, "You're done for the day, get some rest tonight, Harry,"
Harry looked up at me then at Severus, before finally nodding and leaving. I shut the door behind him,
"How bad was it?" I asked him looking up at him, he was staring stubbornly down at his desk, frowning. I blew out a breath and rested my head against the door, with a soft 'thump', "That bad huh," I muttered before sighing and shaking my head, and pushing away from the door and collapsing in a seat across from Severus, absently playing with some water.
I remembered! Happy Friday everyone! I don't have too many announcements today, so just don't forget to add to your reading lists, vote, comment, and follow!

Joe tightened his belt and looked forward to the day that his family returned. Two years later burning red letters once again filled his vision. Waking Up
The story of Larin the Builder in the aftermath of Awakening This short story is the epilogue of Awakening, the first book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. This epilogue is a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers between books without being necessary to the main storyline.Waking Up follows the story of Larin, who is alive but unconscious after her ordeal in the Nine Hells. She awakens in A'lara City a few days later and recuperates under the steadfast care of her repentant friend Jorn.As she reacclimates to her waking state, Larin struggles with her gruesome memories of the Hells and her decision to conceal them from Jorn. This story answers the question, Is Larin all right? with a resounding yes, and some storms on the horizon. It also raises the question, What happened to her down there? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Falling Down, about Larin's ordeal in the Nine Hells. Praise for Waking Up and Falling Down: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between Waking Up and Falling Down is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well.-- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.
