I felt bad, I had given Trelawney the note and left as quickly as I could. Yes, I could pull rank- but now wasn't the time, if the demigod dreams I'd been having were any indentation. I needed to talk to Annabeth.
I just smiled as the next class came in, appointing Hermione to be the timer again, and went into a soft sleep. This, hopefully, would be my last class like this it was already far too long into the year and I was anxious to start my class.
The day went smoothly, I even managed to trek out to the forest despite the rain, and was just heading back when I saw the Gryffindor quidditch team heading back to the castle, I smiled and continued on my way when I heard a cry of pain. I immediately changed my direction, making my way over- it looked like Harry was the one in pain, slightly clutching his scar, and waving the others on,
"I – poked myself in the eye, that's all..." He lied as I came up behind him
"I'll get him, no need to worry," I cut in smoothly, causing the team to nod and continue on, Ron hanging back as well
"What happened? Was it your scar?" he asked Harry, I made sure to stand back a bit.
"I- I think he's.... angry."
"Did you get a vision or something?" Ron asked, looking scared. I put a hand on his shoulder.
"Harry, look at me," I said calmly waiting for Harry to look at me, "I want you to push him from your mind," his eyes widened and I nodded,
"Just push him out, completely until you can't feel him anymore," I said and he gritted his teeth, obviously straining for a minute before relaxing in anger,

"I can't it's not working!" He said and I took his shoulders,
"You have too- this isn't your anger Harry, focus on me," I said looking into his eyes, he mimicked my breathing for a second before closing his eyes and relaxing his body completely,
"Good," I whispered, "Now slowly lift an imaginary wall around yourself."
Harry grunted but a few seconds later he opened his eyes, and glanced at Ron shocked,
"The pains are gone!" He said and I nodded, alright
"Whenever you feel anything like that, do what you just did, if you can't find me. Got it?" I asked and he nodded eagerly,
"Thanks, Professor Jackson!" Harry said excitedly, "I've never done that before!" I relaxed and stepped back.
"That's good, alright you two back to your dorms," They smiled at each other before running off. I smiled after them,
"Your good with them- a voice sounded behind me causing me to spin around, to face the IM. I smiled looking back, towards the boys
"I- I think I might be staying here longer than I'd planned," I said and they smiled,
"I know, I'll come to visit soon,"
Hermione visited me the next afternoon causing me to look up, surprised, she's never needed any homework help before.
"Hey, Hermione what can I do for you?" I asked she looked around nervously.
"I- Is it safe to talk?" She asked and I sat up straighter, putting a finger to my lips, and flipped over a picture, clicking the button under it, activating Severus' silencing barrier. I nodded,
"It is now what's up?" I asked and she hesitated,
"It's about that thing... the thing you don't know about," she said carefully and I narrowed my eyes at her,

"You don't want to run it by Do-Professor Umbridge because she won't approve," I accused and she nodded,
"B-but Sirius thinks it's a good idea- and I- I wonder if that just because he's getting couped up and reckless, and I mean Dobby, a house-elf, found a place, but last time he tried to help Harry lost all the bones in his arm. He's a good elf- but he's not always the safest." Hermione said and I chuckled slightly, drawing her attention, and causing a blush to spread across her face,
"Sorry- I'm not laughing at you, I'm just not the person you want to go to for non-reckless acts, I have the 'I will fight the god of war on a beach' kind of attitude," I explained thinking back to my first adventure.
"I- well Harry said you helped his scar last night, and well Dumbledore's-,"
"An ass," I cut in causing her to falter before nodding,
"Yeah, a bloody ass," she agreed, finally relaxing some and I laughed,
"I doubt you'll get your entire grade expelled if that's what you're worried about, just be careful about it, don't get comfortable, and make sure there are multiple exits, but just one entrance," I said and her eyes lit up,
"That's a great idea thank you Professor!" she said running out and I chuckled at her, shaking my head. It was good that even though this was a far from usual situation they were having normal experiences.
