"[Name], say 'ahh'."
Cold sweat dripped from your forehead while you opened your mouth skittishly at Tetsu's hand holding a mini cream puff to your embarrassed face. You weren't used to this treatment. Never in your life you thought a kid that isn't yours would be feeding you so intimately at your own work place. Instead, you imagine your dream boy or Tooru for that matter.
His father laughed at your uneasy state, finally speaking up when Tetsu feasted a few more bites on his own. "If I were to make assumptions, I would guess you would be his first love."
You nearly choked on your water, closing the bottle as you softly coughed in your fist. Tears peeked at the corner of your eyes from distress, but you quickly recovered by emitting a nervous laugh. "That would be hard to believe."
"Trust me, it's highly possible," he lowered his voice towards your way out of Tetsu's hearing range. "He's not like this towards strangers. I was quite surprised when he told me he wanted to see you again."
"I think the chocolate croissant I gave him did the trick," you half joked.
Tooru let out a light hearted huff, "That could be it but I think it was your exploitable kindness that gotten to him. No one has made him this comfortable so quick before."
A thought occurred in your head when he mentioned that, and it questioned you if it had any connection to his biological mother that Testu briefly spoke about. But that would be too touchy of a topic to bring up since you still barely knew them.
"[Name], are you ready?" The little boy tugged at your sleeve for another, from what he called it, 'choo-choo train'. You guessed he learned it from Tooru.
Nodding, you opened your mouth for him again as he stuck another cream puff to your teeth. Tetsu let out a gleeful laugh, clapping and then feeding another mini cream puff to the older Oikawa who seemed more amenable to be fed.

He swallowed the puff pastry as you saw fascination flickered in his eyes, humming in delight at the airy substance coating his tongue. "I think that one's my favorite."
"Which one is that?" You pondered.
Tooru took a second and replenish the taste again to recall the flavor. His brow arched in wonder. "Is it... Hojicha cream?"
"You guessed it!" amazed by his taste buds, you wouldn't think he thought of the flavor specifically.
"Wow, it's so good! I never had anything like it before," he praised, causing you to flush pink. "You're a great baker! I didn't know we had anything like this in Tokyo."
"It's still new," you began. "We opened this shop a few years ago but the business started to boom just last year."
"So this is your business?" Tooru asked, being drawn to the topic.
"Well, I wouldn't take all the credit since my family helped with the expenses and property tax, but I am the original founder," you shared and then smiled. "So yes, it is my business."
When you glanced up, you flinched at the brunette's captivated eyes swimming in amazement, impressed with your talent. "Amazing... you made all of this!"
Then his gaze aimed up at his surroundings of the cafe and to the desserts he bought that Tetsu is ferociously diving in at the moment.
You thought he was purposely being over dramatic but you find truth in his compliment. A reflection of Tetsu's quick reaction and easy-to-please demeanor flashed on Tooru's face in your eyes - how awfully similar these two behave.
To your disappointment, your mother called from the kitchen to announce that your miniature break is over, meaning you have to cut your time short with the Oikawa boys. A groan seeped from you as you gotten up from your chair in discontent.
Tetsu noticed your presence leaving. "Where are you going?"
You turned your head back to the boy and knelt down to meet his eyes. With a simple rub on his head, you explained to him gently to prevent him from making a possible tantrum. "I have to get back to work, little man. People want more of the desserts so they need me, okay?"

He made it obvious that he didn't want you to leave, but you sensed him trying to understand. "Will you make more for me too?"
"Of course. You and your daddy have to come back another time so he can buy more for you," you sweetly encouraged but his head shook at your words while both you and Tooru stared down at him questionably.
"No, I want you to bake just for me." Still, you weren't following up on his statement. "Can you make something for me only?"
You figured he was trying to ask if you can make a different dessert from what you usually make at the cafe, and you were ecstatic to hear it. This little boy knows how to refrain you from refusing him, and that is dangerous against somebody who is easily moved such as yourself.
You sighed in defeat. "Yeah, anything you want, Tetsu."
"Yay! Thank you, [Name]! Thank you, thank you!" He squeezed your arm for a hug, almost stopping your blood circulating in your hand.
You hid your pain well by rubbing his back with your other hand. "What would you like?"
"Can you make milk bread?" Tooru slithered into the conversation that brought his attention also. Tetsu turned in confusion and then looked towards you.
"What is milk bread?"
"Tetsu, you had it before!" his dad lectured, shocked to see his son's reaction at his favorite food.
But the small boy had trouble remembering. "I don't know if it's good."
"It is good, Tetsu! How could you say that?!"
"But [Name] can make it better!" Then Tetsu's begging eyes turned to you again, tugging at your sleeve to agree with him. "Can you, huh? Can you?"
Again, how could you refuse such a cutie like him? You knew he had intentions that benefit him but that's one of the reasons why you like the kid so much. He's a devil in disguise.
"I-I can," you stuttered anxiously and you wished you didn't give in so easily. There's a reason why people say; don't promise anything you can't keep. In this situation, you better live up to your promise for his sake.
"Alright, Tetsu, it's time for her to go back," finally Tooru stepped in but you hoped he could've interrupted sooner than now. His copper eyes locked with yours assuringly. "We're going to stick around for a bit. We'll make sure to say bye before we leave."
You nodded and waved at Tetsu who seemed more calm, waving at you before turning back to play with his dinosaur. It hasn't been a few seconds as you noticed a figure marched to the brunette.
"Excuse me but you have such a cute boy," a voice approached to the two Oikawas. Dragging your attention on the person, it was a woman, a pretty one.
When she lowered her head to glance at the small child, she startled Tetsu, watching him desperately clamber up on his dad's lap and buried his face in Tooru's chest. It wasn't that long ago that Tetsu was acting so free spiritedly yet here he is, unbearably shy when it comes to strangers.
The older brunette didn't mind his son's change of behavior as he held onto him and smiled at the woman. "Thank you."
"Is he your little brother?" She continued to hinder.
He shook his head and hugged the sheepish boy in his arms, humming over his head and sang. "Nope, he's mine. He looks exactly like me, doesn't he?"
You imagined her astonishment when she heard the truth, thinking she would've left the conversation at that but she even took more of an interest than you anticipated.
"You're so young! I wouldn't have guessed it," she grinned. "Are you perhaps seeing anybody?"
You were astounded by her straightforwardness but Tooru didn't make a face by her question as if it wasn't a surprise that she was hitting on him.
Instead, he gave a strict smile. "I'm married."
