Taehyung was mindlessly swiping through all the programs on Netflix, bored out of his mind just looking at the door from time to time, waiting for his Kookie to come home when his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and a smile appeared on his face.

"What's up midget?"

"Tae.."

"Jimin what happened, what's wrong? Please tell me." Taehyung asked, getting worried as Jimin didn't get angry as usual when he called him midget and he could hear Jimin's worry through his voice. His first thought was "Is Kookie alright"

"Tae, don't panic and listen to me calmly." Jimin said knowing how his friend gets in situations like these.

"Jimin just tell me. Is Kookie alright?" Taehyung asked, getting impatient.

"That's what I'm trying to tell you. So what happened was..." Jimin went on to explain everything that happened in the college with Jungkook and Jenny and then what happened in the Principal's office. By the time he finished talking Taehyung's fists had gone white due to him clutching the phone so hard.

"Tae, the reason why I'm telling you all this is because Kookie seemed kind of lost. We tried talking to him, but it was like he wasn't even listening to us, like his mind was elsewhere and that made us all worried. We know if anyone can talk to him and comfort him it's you. We have already sent him home, because it didn't look like he could attend classes after what happened. He should be there in a few minutes. So please take care of him and make him talk to you. Alright Tae, I've to go now. I'll call you later. Bye. Love you." Jimin said, disconnecting the call.

Taehyung was still holding the phone to his ear even after the call was disconnected. His heart and mind both were in shambles. Jungkook didn't want to go to college. He had forced him to go against his wishes. 'Just how many times am I going to let you down, my love. I keep making these empty promises, but I can't even keep one. But even though I am not good at keeping my promise and I keep letting you down, please don't ever leave me Kookie. I'll die without you.'

Taehyung wiped the tears that he didn't even realize were falling from his eyes. He clenched his fists in anger. He had been far too lenient with all of them. He let Jenny go the first time she hurt his love, he let Kai go when he dared to place that bet during the match. If only he had punished them severely, then they wouldn't have dared to do the same mistake again. He made a mistake once, he won't do the same mistake again. This time there won't be any mercy.

He dialed a number from his phone and waited until the person on the other end picked up. He spoke for some time and then waited for a reply from the other end.

"Consider it done Tae." Namjoon spoke, disconnecting the phone.

Taehyung heard his door being opened as soon as he disconnected the call and saw his Kookie standing at the doorstep. His heart ached looking at his tear stained cheeks and puffy eyes. He lifted his arms towards him and Jungkook immediately ran towards him, hugging him tightly before breaking down into heart wrenching sobs.

Taehyung's heart ached listening to his baby's sobbing. But he just let him cry it out, while he kept stroking circles on his back. Jungkook sobs soon turned into sniffles then occasional hiccups. Taehyung made him drink water and wiped Jungkook's face with his T-shirt.

"Are you ok now bun? Do you need some more water?" Taehyung asked, cupping Jungkook's face.

"No." Jungkook said, once again burying his face in Taehyung's chest.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Taehyung asked, hugging him close.

"I just...I don't know what to say. I was angry and then I was sad. I didn't want to hit her hyung. Trust me I really didn't mean to. I thought I'll be happy after releasing my anger, but I just felt sad and empty." Jungkook said, trying to understand his own feelings.

"If you're feeling sad because you hit her, then don't because you didn't do anything wrong. She deserved it after everything she did. I would've done much worse than just slapping her. So please don't be upset about it. You know I can't see tears in your eyes."

"I'm not upset about that, hyung. It's just I have never done anything to hurt anyone, but still so many people hate me. First there were my bullies, who used to hurt me daily for no reason. I never understood why they hated me so much then. When I started college, I thought things would be different, and when I met you and the hyungs, I really thought that I could be happy in my life too. But then came Jenny and Kai and even my father. Everytime I get a little bit of happiness, it always gets taken away from me. Why does all my happiness come with pain, hyung?" Jungkook asked, breaking Taehyung's heart.

Taehyung's heart broke into a million pieces at Jungkook's question. What could he possibly answer him? His bunny had gone through a lot in his life, the least he deserves is some happiness, but because of people like Jenny or Kai, he never got to live his happiness fully. Their happiness always came with a cloud and he could very well understand his baby's feelings.

"Baby, look at me love." Tahyung said, lifting up Jungkook's chin and making him look at him.

"You know right that I'll be taking over KP Corp after my graduation." Taehyung asked, making Jungkook nod his head in confusion. He didn't know where Taehyung was going with this.

"I haven't even taken over the company yet and still I have so many enemies. People who hate me because in their eyes I'm just a 20 year old guy born with a silver spoon who doesn't deserve to be in such a huge position. Then there are people who wants to see me fail just so they could say 'I told you so.' I can't even afford to make a single mistake, because then there'll be people who'd pounce at the chance to take my place by calling me incompetant and not fit to run a company.

None of these people who hate me and want to see me fail, knows me. They don't know what this company means to me or the amount of hard work I've put into learning everything from scratch, just so when the time comes I won't disappoint the ones who actually believe in me.

Do you know why I'm telling you all this, bunny?" Taehyung asked, making Jungkook shake his head no.

"Because just like I haven't done anything to receive hate from these people, neither have you. Jenny hates you because you have something that she wants, but can never have and Kai hates you because you belong to me and he hates me and what better way to hurt your enemy than to take away his most precious thing. What I'm trying to say bunny, is that none of them have any personal grudge against you, but they still hurt you for their own selfish purposes. Don't let their hatred win against our love, baby.

Don't cry because of people who hate you because that'll be a slap to the people who loves you. Do not give them that power over you to hurt you, because they don't matter. Do you understand love?" Taehyung asked, looking at his bunny who was looking up at him with his doe eyes.

"How do you always make me feel better, hyung? And you're right, I shouldn't be worrying about the people who don't matter to me when I have you and the hyungs and even uncle & aunty." Jungkook said, finally feeling light in his heart.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung and gave him his signature bunny smile which instantly melted Taehyung's heart. Always keep smiling like this baby. You don't know how happy you make me with just a single smile

The remainder of the day went with the both of them just lazing around. Taehyung had made sure to message Jimin that Jungkook was fine, so they won't worry. Jungkook was mentally exhausted after the days happenings that he slept off in his boyfriend's arms. Taehyung looked at the sleeping baby in his arms and wanted to pinch his cheeks, but he controlled himself. And very soon he too slept holding his bunny tightly in his arms.

Taehyung woke up the next morning to the most beautiful scene in the world, his bunny hugging his neck tightly with his legs thrown on top of him and his face buried in his chest with a pout on his face. I could get used to waking up like this every day. Awww he looks so cute, I want to eat him.Taehyung thought.

Taehyung's train of thoughts were disturbed when his phone pinged indicating a message. He reached for his phone on the nightstand without disturbing his bunny and opened it to check the message and immediately a smirk formed on his face.

One down, one to go

Days, weeks and months passed by in the blink of an eye. Taehyung was completely back to his old self now and Jungkook too had gotten comfortable in his new house. Taehyung had moved back into his apartment shortly after the doctor gave him the all clear, but the lovebirds still managed to spend most of their free time with each other, especially considering Taehyung was graduating. Yep, It's true what they say that 'time really flies when you're happy.'

Time really flew by for all of them. Taehyung still remembers the very first time he saw a boy crying in a graveyard. Never in a million years he would've guessed that he would fall in love with that boy and he would become his reason to live. So many things changed in this one year, like Jungkook started addressing Mr & Mrs.Park as Eomma and Appa after Mrs.Park insisted on him calling them that and once again Jungkook had broken down in tears making everyone panic other than Taehyung, who knew the younger was feeling overwhelmed. But the one thing that didn't change and would never change was their friendship, which was stronger than before after everything they went through.

Now standing here in the auditorium, dressed in their graduation gowns while their families watch with pride, The Bangtans couldn't be more happier. It was the day they all had been waiting for, but at the same time they didn't want it to get over yet. Taehyung looked around the auditorium and his eyes landed on his Kookie who had a big smile on his face. He smiled back equally big before turning his attention to the stage.

"So, are you ready to graduate, dear soulmate?" Jimin asked, his best friend.

"You bet chimmy, but I'm more excited for what comes after." Taehyung answered dreamily.

"Whipped ass." Suga commented, looking at Taehyung's silly grin.

"I can't believe out of all us Taehyung will be the first to get engaged. I mean who would've thought that he would fall in love, let alone get engaged?" Jin said, wiping his fake tears.

"I don't know if I'm more excited about our graduation or Taehyung's engagement?" Namjoon said, making Taehyung roll his eyes.

"You guys are over dramatic. And I wouldn't be the first one to get engaged if Joon or Suga had proposed to Jin and Jimin, but I guess they don't love you enough to ask you for marriage." Taehyung said, with a smirk while Joon and Suga gaped at him. They looked at their boyfriends and sure enough both Jin and Jimin looked like they were ready to commit murder. Suga and Namjoon cursed Taehyung in their mind, while Hobi was doubling over in laughter.

But soon their spat came to an end when the Principal started calling the graduates on stage one by one. And when it was the Bangtans turn to walk up the stage, loud cheers erupted all throughout the auditorium. They went one by one on the stage getting their degree and waving at the crowd. Jungkook cheered loudly for all of them and had a big grin plastered on his face throughout.

"Hyunggg..." Jungkook yelled before jumping on him, Taehyung immediately caught his bunny in his arms before kissing him.

"Careful bun. Looks like my bunny is very happy." Taehyung said, still holding his bunny in his arms.

"Very. But I'm sad too because now you won't be here with me." Jungkook said, pouting.

"Aww my baby, don't be sad, I promise we'll see each other everyday." Taehyung said, placing Jungkook down.

"Congrats my sons, I'm proud of both of you." Mr.Park said, hugging both Taehyung and Jimin.

"Thanks Appa." They both said, in unison.

"Won't you give me a hug too." Mrs.Park asked. Taehyung and Jimin immediately hugged their mother while she congratulated them.

After receiving tons of congratulations from everyone, Taehyung had enough. He took Jungkook's hands and dragged him outside with him.

"Where are you taking me hyung? The others are still inside." Jungkook said, not knowing where Taehyung was taking him.

"It's a surprise, bunny." Taehyung said, continuing to pull Jungkook with him to the parking lot.

20 minutes later, Taehyung stopped in front of a beautiful house.

"Whose house is this hyung? And why did you bring me here?" Jungkook asked, not understanding why they were standing in front of someone's house.

"Aish, you ask a lot of questions. Now no more talking and just follow me." Taehyung said, taking hold of Jungkook's hand.

Taehyung opened the main door and entered inside. Jungkook looked at the house mesmerized. It was a really beautiful house. He wondered who lived here. Taehyung continued to show him the whole house, while Jungkook just followed him like a lost puppy.

"Do you like this house bun?" Taehyung asked, looking at Jungkook.

"It's very beautiful, hyung. But whose house is it? And why did you bring me here?" Jungkook questioned.

"Come with me." Taehyung said, holding out his hand. Jungkook took his hand without any hesitation. Taehyung took him to what looked like a small outdoor patio. Jungkook looked at the patio in awe. It was simply beautiful. He looked at Taehyung and saw him already looking at him with a soft smile. Taehyung took both his hands in his and looked in his eyes before speaking.

"Baby, you know a year back if someone had told me that I, Kim Taehyung would fall in love with someone so madly and deeply that I wouldn't be able to live without him even for a second, I would've laughed at them. But then you know what happened, don't you? I met the most beautiful, kind and the most caring person ever and I fell hard, never to rise ever again.

Now I can't imagine a life without you in it and that's why I bought this house. Yes, this is our house and now that I've graduated and won't be going to college anymore, I want us to live together. I want to go to bed everyday seeing your face and I want to wake up everyday with you in my arms. And don't worry about Eomma and Appa, I bought this house near our parents house. They are just 5 minutes away, so you can go there whenever you want, so what do you say bunny, will you move in with me?" Taehyung asked, looking at Jungkook hopefully.

"Of course Hungie, I'd love to move in with you and I really love this house." Jungkook said, launching himself on Taehyung.

"Thank God, now that you've agreed to move in with me, I can ask the next question."

"Huh, what do you..." Jungkook couldn't complete his question when he saw Taehyung who was kneeling on one knee.

"Baby, there aren't enough words in the world to describe my love for you, so I would like to spend the rest of my life trying to show you my love, because I don't think one lifetime would be enough for that, so baby, my love, my bunny, would you do me the honor of making you happy for the rest of your life. Will you marry me?" Taehyung asked, with tears in his eyes. Jungkook's tears were already flowing down his eyes like a river.

"You're so bad hyung, first you made me smile and now you're making me cry." Jungkook said hiccuping.

"Bunny cry a bit later, love, my knees are hurting." Taehyung said, making Jungkook glare at him cutely.

"Now I won't say yes. You are mean."

"I don't even know why I bothered asking when I should've just made you wear the ring. I didn't ask your permission before making you my boyfriend, why do you think I need that to marry you. You're mine bunny, in this life and in every life and you don't get a choice in the matter." Taehyung said, slipping the ring onto his finger.

Jungkook looked at the ring and gasped in surprise. It was an elegant platinum ring with a single purple diamond in the middle. Jungkook looked at the ring with teary eyes. He turned around and hugged Taehyung tightly.

"Yes. My answer will always be yes." Taehyung wiped his bunny's tears and kissed him gently.

"This calls for a celebration, wait here love, I'll go get the champagne from the fridge." Taehyung said, making his way inside. He opened the fridge to take out the champagne bottle that he had arranged previously when a notification sounded in his phone.

He took out his phone and opened it to read the notification. It was a news feed that Taehyung was following. He clicked on the link and immediately a smirk formed on his face.

Today is definitely a day for celebration. Taehyung thought before walking out with the champagne bottle and two glasses to celebrate his engagement with his boyfriend.
