The sounds of destruction and things shattering was all that could be heard in the otherwise quiet mansion. The servants and the guards stood still, afraid to even breathe, in case it made their master even more angry. Their master was always the epitome of calm and collected, but today it was the total opposite. He had locked himself in his room ever since he came back from the hospital and was taking out his anger on every inanimate object he could find. Jeon Jungwan was furious, to put it lightly. He had never lost even once in his life.

People say that "Failure is the road to Success", but Jeon Jungwan would disagree with that statement. To him, "you can't succeed, if you fail and you can't fail, if you succeed." But this time he failed miserably and there is nothing he could do about it. Namjoon was right when he pointed out that Jungkook is a legal adult who can make his own decision and how much ever he wants to control his life and take him away from here, he can't do it without his consent, and hence the meltdown that was being witnessed by all the workers in the mansion.

"Wake up kids. It's dinnertime. You've been sleeping for hours now. Get up and eat something." Mr. Park said, waking up all of them who were sleeping on the couches in weird positions. After a lot of coaxing everyone got up while groaning irritatedly.

"Dad, why are you waking us up? Please let me sleep." Jimin said, whining.

"Yah, you've been sleeping for a long time. You also need to eat. I'm sure none of you would've eaten anything since morning. So stop whining and get up because I'm not going to listen to you." Mr. Park said, pulling his son up

Mr. Park arranged all the foods on the table, the smell of it making their stomach growl.

"And you say you're not hungry." Mr. Park mocked.

Everyone started eating like they were starved for ages, while Mr. Park went to wake up Jungkook. He shook him gently so as not to startle him. Jungkook slowly opened his eyes, blinking at the light. It took him a moment to realize where he was and just like that his sleep flew away.

"Before you ask, no, Taehyung didn't wake up. He's still sleeping. I spoke to the doctor and he assured me that he is alright and might sleep through the night. So don't worry. I didn't want to wake you up, but you need to eat and then take your medicines." Mr. Park answered, already knowing what Jungkook was going to ask.

Jungkook was relieved and sad at the same time hearing that. Relieved, because Taehyung was alright and sad, because he won't wake up till tomorrow. He didn't have much of an appetite, but he needed to eat if he was to take care of Taehyung. So he reluctantly nodded his head.

Jin had already prepared a plate for Jungkook, while Mr. Park adjusted the bed into a sitting position.

"Give me the plate Jin, I'll feed him. You go and eat your food." Mr. Park said, taking the plate from Jin.

"You don't mind if I feed you right?" Jungkook shook his head no to the question and Mr. Park sat comfortably on the chair, before scooping up some porridge and bringing it to his lips. Jungkook opened his mouth obediently and ate the porridge. Taehyung was the only one who ever fed him with his hands and now seeing Mr. Park doing it for him, it brought tears to his eyes, but he wiped it away before anyone could notice.

After everyone finished their food, Mr. Park called for their attention and immediately all eyes were on him.

"So while all of you were sleeping, I've made some decisions about the current predicament. And I've..."

"What decisions dad?" Jimin asked, interrupting his father.

"I was getting to it, my dear son. Now if you don't have any more questions can I talk?" Mr. Park said, making Jimin pout.

"So as I was saying, before my son rudely interrupted me, I've made some decisions. But before I go ahead, I need Jungkook's permission." Mr. Park said, looking at Jungkook, while Jungkook looked at him in confusion. Why does Mr. Park need my permission?' he thought.

"So Jungkook, I know that we just met and you don't know me really well, but to me you are already my son, just like Taehyung and this brat here." Mr. Park said, pointing at his son, while Jimin huffed in annoyance.

"And I know that it's probably not a good idea for you to go back home, since we don't know what your father might do if you went back and you certainly can't stay here in this hospital. I've already spoken to your doctor and he said that you can be discharged tomorrow, since your injuries aren't that grave. So I've decided that you'll be staying with me and my wife in our home for now or for as long as you want." Mr. Park finished talking, while everyone gaped at him. Jungkook didn't know what to say. He felt overwhelmed. His own father refused to understand him and tried to separate him from Taehyung, while Mr. Park, who doesn't even know him, is willing to help him.

"But dad, why will he stay with you when he has us? Kookie can just move into our house." said Jimin.

"My home is safer for him than your apartment, especially when Taehyung is not there. Jeon wouldn't dare to touch him when he is under my roof. And this will also give us a chance to get to know our future son in law. You know your mother had been eating my head saying that she wants to meet Taehyung's boyfriend, like I'm the one who was keeping him away from her. How's it my fault if Taehyung never brought him home?"

"Why are you both never excited to meet my boyfriend? Is it because Taehyung is your favorite?" Jimin asked, pouting.

"What is so interesting about your boyfriend? We've known him since he was in his diapers. I believe I've even changed his diaper once. And yes, Taehyung is my favorite son. He respects me and calls me everyday not like you brat, who only calls me when he needs something from me." Mr. Park said, making everyone laugh except Yoongi, who wanted to dig a grave and bury himself inside it.

"So what do you say son? Would you like to come and live with us?" Mr. Park asked, turning his attention back to Jungkook.

Jungkook felt comfortable with Mr. Park and even though he doesn't know the man properly, he trusts him, not just because he is Taehyung's and Jimin's father, but also because he felt safe with him. He got more of a fatherly vibe from Mr. Park in the little time he had known him than from his father in his entire life.

"I have no problem Uncle, but can I stay here till Taehyung hyung is here? I don't want to leave him and go." Jungkook said, timidly.

"You can't stay with him until he's in the ICU. but once they move him from there, you can stay with him. Nobody will stop you then. Till then, I promise I'll bring you here everyday to visit him. Is that okay, Kookie?" Mr. Park asked to which Jungkook hesitantly nodded. No matter how much he wanted to stay with his hyung, it was not possible. So he settled for just visiting him for the time being.

"Ok so now that's settled, we'll get you discharged tomorrow and bring you home and I'll personally go to your home to collect all your necessary things and maybe one of you can come with me and help with collecting his stuff." Mr. Park said, making Jungkook nervous. It wasn't that he thinks Mr. Park can't handle his father, but Jungkook knows his father well. He might behave rudely or say something really hurtful and he won't be able to forgive himself if his father disrespects Taehyung's father in any way.

"Uhm, Uncle, you don't have to go to my house to get my things, I can do it myself. You can just drop me there tomorrow."

"You are not going there by yourself young man, I don't trust your father and besides I am not going there just to get your things, I am going because I need to have a word with your father and don't worry, I'm not going to fight, I'm just going to put some sense into his head, afterall we are going to be relatives in the future." Mr. Park said, chuckling.

"I highly doubt that asshole would listen to anyone. His ego is bigger than the Nile River." Jin said, getting annoyed just thinking about the man, while Namjoon elbowed him to keep silent. It was only then that Jin noticed Jungkook's down face and he cursed himself for putting his foot in his mouth. No matter how much they all hate the guy, he was still Jungkook's father, and they should respect that.

"I'm really sorry Kookie, I didn't mean to say that. Please forgive me." Jin said, feeling guilty.

"No hyung, you don't have to apologize. I know my father is not an easy man to like, but what can I say, I still love him. I just wish he'd accept my love and give us his blessings. But I know that wish is impossible."

Everyone looked at the younger, feeling sad. They all know how much he craves for his father's love and attention, while Mr. Jeon is too busy building his empire to even think about his son.

"You know son, Jeon is really blessed to have a son like you and if he doesn't understand that then it's his loss not yours. So don't be upset. Sadness doesn't suit your face." Mr. Park said, caressing Jungkook's head, making him emotional.

Things kind of quieted down after that with everyone just lazing around. It was around 10 at night when they all decided to go home. Namjoon and Suga were the only one's going to stay with Jungkook, while the others decided to come back in the morning. Mr. Park had arranged some clothes for the boys, so they could freshen up, before leaving. Jungkook had already slept while Namjoon and Suga took turns to freshen up.

Mr. Jeon was having his breakfast, when the guard informed him of someone at the gate who wanted to meet with him.

"WHO THE FUCK IS IT AT THIS TIME AND WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU ASK WHOEVER IT IS TO COME BACK LATER?" Mr. Jeon yelled at the guard. The guard looked like he was about to piss himself, but still answered.

"Sir, I told him that you're not available, but he said it is about young master Jeon, so I thought of informing you." said the guard, mentally patting himself for not stuttering.

Now who the fuck wants to talk about him Mr. Jeon thought.

"Bring him in." Mr. Jeon said, wiping his mouth with the napkin before leaving his unfinished breakfast. He went and settled himself on the couch while the guard went to bring whoever it was at the gate.

And soon enough the guard came back with 3 people and the moment he saw them he was furious.

"What the fuck are you doing here and how dare you use Jungkook's name to gain entrance. I didn't think you'd stoop so low Park." Mr. Jeon said, yelling at them.

It was the next morning and Mr. Park had decided to go to Jeon Mansion and get Jungkook's things as well as have a talk with Mr. Jeon, before going to the hospital to get Jungkook discharged and take him to his home. When he told his son about the plan, he was adamant about tagging along and Jin too decided to go with them and that's how they found themselves in the early morning in front of Jeon Mansion.

Jin and Jimin became furious hearing Mr. Jeon talk like that to Mr. Park, but they kept quiet, because of the promise they both had made to Mr. Park before coming here. Mr. Park had made them promise not to interfere or talk back no matter what happens. They so wanted to break his teeth when he said that, but decided to stay behind Mr. Park and let him handle the situation.

"Jeon, is that the way to treat your guests? I must say I'm pretty disappointed. Why don't we sit down and talk like adults, just the two of us, what do you say?" Mr. Park asked, looking at Jin and Jimin, who got the hint and decided to leave the two of them alone and go get Jungkook's things. When they both were out of sight Mr. Park turned his attention towards Mr. Jeon.

"You don't dictate the rules in my house Park and there is nothing I want to discuss with you." Mr. Jeon spat.

"Maybe you don't have anything to say, but I do, since it concerns my son as well. I know everything that has happened between you and my son and also the reason behind your hatred towards him. And that reason is your ego and your pride, which Taehyung hurt unknowingly when he talked back to you the very first time you met."

"Our son's love each other and you've already seen what happened when you tried to separate them. If it wasn't for my son who risked his life to save Jungkook, then you would've lost him forever and now my son is in the ICU in critical condition. If that doesn't prove his love for your son then I don't know what will."

I know you still won't believe anything I say, because you're blinded by your ego. You know you should consider yourself lucky to get a son like Jungkook. Even after everything you put him through, he still loves you and is waiting for you to accept him. Is your pride more important than your son's happiness? To every parent their kids happiness comes before everything, but for you, your image, your reputation and your pride comes before your son. I just hope you open your eyes and realize what a gem of a person Jungkook is before you lose him forever."

"Anyways I'm here to let you know that I'm taking Jungkook with me. He'll be staying with me in my home from now on. When you're ready to accept them, you know where to find me and I really hope you find me, not for Jungkook but for yourself." Mr. Park said, while Jungwan just looked at him without any emotion.

"Dad, let's go." Jimin said, coming down with Jin carrying a bag in both their hands filled with Jungkook's things.

Mr. Park nodded, looking at Mr. Jeon once, before he turned around to leave. He stopped in his tracks, suddenly turning around once again.

"You know Jeon, this mansion is too damn big for just one person." Mr. Park said and left without looking back.

Jungkook was once again sitting in his wheelchair in the ICU, holding Taehyung's hand gently. He had woken up early today and as soon as he woke up, he asked Namjoon to take him to Taehyung and Namjoon had taken him to the ICU, knowing very well that Jungkook won't rest until he sees Taehyung.

"How much longer will you sleep hyung? Here I am dying to hear your voice and you are sleeping without any worries. You are really mean. How much you made me worried yesterday. I won't forgive you for scaring me like that and when you wake up, I'll give you punishment, so that you won't do it again."

"And I'll gladly accept all your punishment love." Jungkook, who was in the midst of the monologue, jolted upright when he heard the voice he was dying to hear.

Taehyung had woken up the moment he felt a touch on his hand but kept quiet listening to his bunny talk to him. Oh, what he wouldn't give to listen to his bunny's talks.

"Hyung, you're awake. Are you ok? Are you in pain? Wait, let me call the doctor." Jungkook said, panicking.

"Kookie, first calm down. Breathe. And I'm ok and it doesn't hurt that much. Don't call the doctor now, you just sit with me." Taehyung said, calming his love. Jungkook took deep breaths and calmed himself, before holding Taehyung's hands once again.

They both just looked at each other with so many unsaid emotions. There were so many things they wanted to say to each other, but the only thing that came out of their mouths was "I'm sorry".

"Why are you saying sorry bun? If anything, it should be me who says sorry." Taehyung said, while Jungkook shook his head no.

"No hyung, it's all my fault. If it wasn't for me, then you wouldn't be..."

"Don't you dare finish that sentence Kookie. It wasn't your fault that I failed to protect you when I promised I would always keep you safe. You have no idea what I went through when I got that vi..video, when I realized that I failed you."

"Hyung, how can you even think that hyung, when you're literally lying on a hospital bed trying to save me. You didn't even think before putting yourself in danger and you didn't fail hyung. I wouldn't even be here, if it wasn't for you, so please don't say that hyung. You promised me that you'll always protect me, and you kept your promise. You saved me." Jungkook said, with tears in his eyes.

"I was late. I couldn't save you from getting kidnapped. And you had to go through all that because I was late."

"Hyung, you're not a fortune teller, to predict the future before it happens. There was no way you could've known about it beforehand. So if you're apologizing to me for not being able to predict the future then go ahead, but don't apologize for something that was never your fault, hyung."

Taehyung looked at his bunny feeling greateful that he has such a kind and understanding boyfriend and even though Jungkook doesn't blame him for anything, he knows it isn't easy for him to forgive himself.

"I wish I could hug you bun."

"I wish that too hyung."

Taehyung tightened his hold on Jungkook's hand while they looked at each other wishing they could be each other's arms.
