"Why do you look so surprised Kim, don't tell me you didn't know who the father of your boyfriend is, but then again if you had known who i was, you wouldn't have shown your true face in front of me. You may have managed to fool my son, but not me and I'll make you regret your whole existence for daring to even look at my son."

Taehyung couldn't believe his eyes and ears. Oh what a fool he had been. Now that he thinks about it, all the clues were right under his nose and he missed it. Jungkook had mentioned he is the son of the business tycoon Mr. Jeon Jungwan when he had become friends with all of them. He remembers being shocked at the info at that time, but never gave it much thought. He knows who Jeon Jungwan is even though he had never met him. Hell, even his uncle had introduced him as Mr. Jeon at the annual business men's event, where he had another altercation with the said man. Even then his mind failed to make the connection and he can't believe his stupidity. And here he thought of making a good impression on his Kookie's father not knowing that he had already made an impression on him. For the first time in his life he regrets his actions and his short temper. There is no way in hell Mr. Jeon is going to allow his son to date him and just like that a sudden fear envelops him.

Where is kookie? I didn't see him at all. Is he even in the house? Wait a minute, his father knows about us, is that why I couldn't reach Kookie since yesterday? Did he forbid Kookie from talking to me? No No No, I can't let that happen. I won't let him separate us. Taehyung was lost in his thoughts, but Mr. Jeon's voice brought him back.

"Cat got your tongue Kim. Last time we met, you had quite a tongue on you. Now what happened? Where did all that arrogance and attitude go?" Mr. Jeon questioned him with a smug look on his face. Taehyung took a deep breath before, calming down his heartbeat before answering.

"Mr. Jeon, I apologize for the way I acted before. It wasn't personal. I know we got on the wrong foot, but that is not the real me and I hope you would give me a chance to show you that. I really love Jungkook Sir and he loves me too. And I hope you can accept our relationship and I am willing to do anything to prove that I am serious about him. So please give me a chance Sir."

"Wow, that was a pretty impressive speech. I can see you have a way with words, no wonder my son fell in your trap. He had always been an emotional fool, just say a few nice words to him and he will be wrapped around your finger. No matter how much I try to toughen him up, he keeps being a disappointment."

Taehyung balls his fists in anger hearing Mr. Jeon speaks about his own son in that manner, but he reigns in his anger. This is not the time to lose his temper. First he has to make sure his Kookie is alright and not crying in his room and for that, whether he likes it or not he needs his father's permission. So he swallows his pride once again before addressing Jungkook's father.

"Sir, I know you don't trust me, but believe me when I say that I have no ulterior motives. I love your son for who he is, not for who his father is or how much his bank balance is. Because trust me, even if he was penniless I would still love him the same as I do now and treat him like the prince he is. Please let me see Jungkook for once because I am sure he might be crying now and I can't see tears in his eyes, please."

Taehyung was almost on the verge of tears just thinking about his Kookie crying his heart out. He prays to God that his father allows him to at least see him once, but all his hopes came crashing down with Mr. Jeon's next words.

"Well shouldn't I be asking you that considering my son ran away from home to meet his boyfriend, which is you."

"Wh..what are you talking about? Kookie ra...ran from home, but why?"

"Because I was taking him with me to Japan, since I didn't want him to destroy his life with the likes of you. I thought a little distance will make him understand that what he feels for you is just mere infatuation which will fade with distance and time, but I guess my son has become more stubborn and is rebelling against his own father, thanks to your influence. He ran away from here at night and is now nowhere to be found, so I am guessing he is already with you. So i am asking you nicely, hand over my son by yourself and I'll let you live, if not you will die here today. Either way I'll take Jungkook away from here. So what is it going to be Kim?"

Taehyung felt like someone was stabbing his heart repeatedly. His kookie ran away from home. Then where is he? Why didn't he come to him? He was out there all alone at night. What if something happened to him? What if he is in danger?His mind was in turmoil. His heart was in pain. There were so many questions running through his mind, all the scenarios making him panic at the thought of his bunny all alone out there, while he was blissfully sleeping in his own bed. He was angry at himself for not checking on him when he wasn't answering his calls, but more than that he was angry at Mr. Jeon, for letting this happen. If it wasn't for him his Kookie would be home safe, not out there alone, God knows where.

"So you're telling me that Kookie ran away from home at night and you didn't do anything. He is out there all alone from the night. Anything could happen, he could be in any kind of danger. What kind of a father are you, that instead of searching for him you are wasting your time on petty things. And if he was with me, why would I ask you to let me see him? I have been trying to contact him since last night, but his phone is switched off. You know what, I don't have time to waste on you when my Kookie is out there alone. I'll talk to you when I have found him and you better hope that I find him safe and sound. If I find even one scratch on his body then I won't forgive you."

Taehyung turned around to go when the guards came forward stopping him. Taehyung glared at the guards ready to kill anyone who would try to stop him.

"Let him go." Mr. Jeon said gesturing his hands and the guards immediately moved aside. Taehyung looked at him in surprise, but ran out of there without wasting a second.

I am letting you go for now, Kim, but once you find Jungkook, I am taking him away from you, just like I said.

"Keep an eye on his every movement and report it back to me and this time no fucking mistakes. Got it?"

"Yes Sir." The guards answered in unison.

"Guys don't you think it's enough time now. We should call Tae. This suspense is killing me." Jimin asked, biting his nails sitting on the couch.

The Bangtans had decided to bunk classes after Taehyung left for Jeon Mansion. They couldn't have concentrated on the classes even if they tried, so here they were at Taehyung and Jimin's place waiting to hear from their friend.

"Jimin is right Joon, maybe we should give him a call and see if everything is alright." Jin answered, supporting Jimin.

"Alright, I'll give him a call." Joon said, fishing out his phone. He was about to swipe the call button when his phone started ringing.

"It's Taehyung calling." Joon said before answering his call and putting it on speaker seeing the impatient faces of his friends.

"Hey Ta..." Namjoon couldn't even complete his word when Taehyung started talking from the other line.

"Joon, come home right this instant. Get everyone too. I'll be there in a few minutes."

"Tae, we are already here at your place. But why do you sound like this? Is everything alright?" Namjoon asked, getting concerned.

"I'll tell you when I get there." Taehyung answered before disconnecting the call.

"Now I am 100% sure that something is wrong. He sounded so worried. I hope Kookie is alright." Jin said, worrying.

"Well like Taehyung said, he will tell us everything once he comes and whatever it is we'll deal with it together, as always." It was Suga who spoke this time.

They all had many questions, but there was nothing they could do at this moment than to wait. But they didn't have to wait any longer, when a disheveled Taehyung barged inside the apartment. One look at his state and his friends knew something was really wrong. Jimin ran to Taehyung hugging him and that's all it took for Taehyung to finally break down. Seeing Taehyung like that they all had tears in their eyes. They all hugged him trying to calm him down.

"Tae, please calm down and tell us what happened. If you won't tell us then how can we help you? Please Tae, we can't see you like this. Do you want me to complain about you to Kookie? Then stop crying." Jimin said, trying to control his own tears. At the mention of Kookie, Taehyung came to his senses. He can't afford to break down now, when his Kookie needs him. He has to stay strong for his baby.

"Jiminah, my Kookie...kookie is missing." Taehyung said, shocking everyone.

"What do you mean by Kookie's missing? Where did he go? Then who did you meet in Jeon Mansion? Tae please tell us everything clearly from the start." Namjoon said getting frustrated not getting any proper answers.

Taehyung calmed down and started telling them everything that happened at mansion and about him and Mr. Jeon. By the time he finished telling them they were all speechless.

"Oh my God Tae so much happened and we didn't even know. I don't know what to say." Jin said breaking the silence

"And I can't believe Kookie's father, that asshole. He is not fit to be a father." Jimin said, getting angry.

"Guys stop, this is not the time to talk about this. Kookie is missing and we need to find him. According to Mr. Jeon, Jungkook ran away before midnight yesterday and now it's 11 in the morning, almost 12 hours since he went missing. Something must have gone wrong since he didn't come here. Suga, why don't you track his phone to find his location?" Namjoon said getting everyone's attention back to the task at hand.

"There is no use. If Kookie had his phone with him then he would have just called me instead of running away, the fact that he chose to run away means he didn't have a way to contact me. Mr. Jeon must have confiscated his phone." Taehyung said, without any emotion.

"That son of a bitch, I am going to kill him if he comes in front of me." Jin said, fuming in anger.

"So what now? How are we going to find him then?" Hobi asked.

"Tae, don't worry we'll find him. I can hack into the cameras on the street near Jeon Mansion. Maybe we can track his movements." Suga said, making Taehyung hopeful at the suggestion.

"Yes Tae, Suga is right, we'll definitely find him. I'll also ask our guards to search for him in and around his home. He was on foot, so he couldn't have gone far." Namjoon said, reassuring everyone.

"I can't stay here and wait for something to happen. I am going out to search for him. Please call me if you guys find something." Taehyung said, getting ready to leave.

"Wait, Tae, me and Hobi will also help you to search for him while Suga hack the systems. Let's divide and search. Tae, you know all the places Kookie might go to. Why don't you search those places first and I and Hobi will search the neighboring areas." Namjoon suggested.

All three of them left to search for Kookie, while Suga, Jimin and Jin stayed back. Everyone sent a silent prayer hoping for their friend to be alright.

The first place Taehyung went to was the park Jungkook used to go to. He remembered the time when he took Kookie here for a walk because he got scared, watching a horror movie. He smiles at the memory. They weren't boyfriend's then, but still he had felt an unknown connection to him that made him want to always protect him. Oh, how he had failed at that, not once but twice. For the first time in his life he had failed to keep the promise he made, the promise to always keep him safe. He feels like the biggest loser in the world. He remembers the first time Jungkook went missing, the fear he felt in his heart at the time, but the fear that he is feeling now is ten times more than what he felt then. He knows for certain that he'll die if anything happens to his Kookie.

Please baby, please be alright for me. I'll die without you. I am sorry for breaking my promise once again. Just give me one last chance baby, just one to make everything right and this time I won't let you down. I am coming for you, love, just wait for a little while.
