Jungkook was excited for the party. The very first party he attended he got kidnapped, he just hopes the second one will be different. He was so busy deciding what to wear he flinched when the maid knocked on the door. 

"Young master your father is waiting for you in his study." Jungkook was shocked his father was home. He just hopes he'll leave soon just like always. He won't be able to go to the party otherwise. 

"I'll be there in a minute." he said before preparing himself to meet his father.

Jungkook knocked on the door of his father's study before opening it. His father was on a call, so he held up a hand indicating him to be quite. Jungkook stood there wordlessly waiting for his father to finish his call.

 "So Jungkook how have you been? And how is your studies going?" His father asked working on his laptop barely sparing him a glance. 

"I am good appa and studies are going good too." He didn't know what to say after that so he just stood there awkwardly while his father was busy with whatever he was working. Conversations with his father has always been like that awkward, uncomfortable and nerve racking. After standing there for what seemed like an eternity while in reality it was just 2 minutes he mustered courage and asked what he wanted to ask him.

 "Will you be staying here tonight?" He crossed his fingers behind his back hoping for the answer to be no but his hope came crashing down when his father answered yes. He quietly took his leave and went to his room feeling sad. His father rarely stays at home and he used to wish for his father to stay with him but now he wishes for the opposite. Oh how the times have changed.

His father is going to stay at home which means he can't go to the party. Jungkook felt like crying. He was looking forward to this so much but now everything is ruined. He picked up his phone to call Taehyung and inform him. After a couple of rings Taehyung picked up the call. 

"Hey baby, are you ready? Should I come to pick you up now?" Hearing Taehyung's excited voice was enough to bring tears in his eyes. 

"Hy..hyung I am so..sorry but I ca..can't come to the party." Taehyung panicked hearing his bunny sobbing.

 "What happened baby. Please stop crying bun. You're scaring me. Tell me what happened baby." Jungkook took a deep breath trying to control his tears before answering. 

"Hyung my dad has come home. He will be staying here tonight. I can't come to the party with him here, he won't allow. I am sorry hyung. I really wanted to come but now I can't. Why did he have to come today?"

Taehyung wanted to punch something that's how much furious he was. He hasn't been able to spend time with Jungkook for days because of his match and he was really looking forward to finally spending time with his boyfriend. He had even made plans to leave the party early just the two of them and go on a date since they haven't been on one since their first date where he confessed his love and now all his plans are wasted because his father decided to show up.

 "It's okay bun. Don't cry please. You know I can't see you cry right and besides we'll throw the party once again after your father leaves just for my bunny. So wipe your tears and smile for me." Taehyung tried to console him even though he was angry inside.

 "Thank you hyung but I still wish I could've come. Please tell the hyungs that I'm sorry." Jungkook said sniffing.

 "You don't have to say sorry bun it's not your fault and our friends will understand that."

"You should go now hyung and take lots of pictures and show me when we meet. Bye hyung. I love you."

"I love you too baby." Taehyung threw the phone on the ground in frustration. 

"What happened Tae? Why did you throw your phone like that?" Jimin questioned coming into the room.

 "Kookie can't come to the party because his stupid father decided to show up. Ugh I am so angry if his father comes in front of me I'll punch his face." Taehyung groaned in frustration. 

"What has his father got to do with Kookie coming to the party, I don't understand."

"Because his father is very strict and controlling. He doesn't let Kookie do anything without his permission. He's rarely home since he's always traveling because of his business. Kookie basically lives alone. But unfortunately today his father is home and he definitely won't let him come to a party." Jimin was shocked. He didn't knew Jungkook's father was this strict. 

"I am sorry Tae but don't worry about it we can always have another party with Kookie. I know you were looking forward to this but please don't be sad now. This party is for your team's success and you are the captain so you have to be there. And if you are sad then everyone will be sad too. Now come on cheer up and besides you didn't even congratulate me. My meow meow finally asked me out." Jimin said pouting.

 "I am sorry chim and congrats after drooling over him for years finally he took pity on you and asked you out." Taehyung said laughing. 

"Yah I didn't drool over him. And what do you mean pity. He likes me that's why he asked me out you stupid alien." Jimin said huffing. 

"Ok Ok I am sorry now let's go everyone will be waiting for us."

The party wasn't anything special just your everyday music, drinks, dance, drunk teens, horny teens, stupid teens, well you get the point. After meeting his friends and his teammates and getting congratulated by everyone he was sulking sitting in a corner. His friends tried getting him to enjoy the party but gave up after a while. After making sure that he had spent a respectful amount of time at the party he decided to take his leave. He saw his friends all dancing and having fun. He knew if he goes to them they'll pressure him to stay so he just left them a message and slipped out without anyone noticing.

Jungkook was trying to read a book that he had been wanting to read for a long time. But no matter how hard he concentrated his mind was just not in it. He groaned closing the book. There was no way he was going to read anything right now. He kept checking his phone to see if there's any messages but to his disappointment there was none. He flinched when he heard a knock on his door. He turned around only to see Taehyung knocking on the balcony door. He jumped to his feet and ran to open the door. 

"Hyung oh my God what are you doing here? You should be at the party and why did you come here my appa is here. Oh God what if he sees you here. Hmmm". Taehyung smashed his lips on him cutting off his blabbering. Jungkook froze for a minute but then melted into the kiss. Taehyung kissed him till he became breathless. 

"Are you calm now." Taehyung asked joining their foreheads. Jungkook waited till his breathing became normal to answer. 

"I was just scared hyung. If appa finds you here I don't know what will happen."

"Your dad will have to find out one day anyway so what's the point of hiding?"

"I know hyung but not like this. Finding you sneaking into my bedroom is not the first impression I want him to make of you."

"I am sorry baby but what can I do, I couldn't resist coming to see you." Taehyung pouted. 

"You're so cheesy hyung but I still love you."

"Would you rather I be a daddy then?" Jungkook choked on his saliva. 

"HYUNG". Taehyung laughed seeing his expression. 

"Get out get out get out" Jungkook kept pushing him towards the balcony.

 "Aish you're so mean. I came dodging your stupid security guards and climbing the pipe to see you and your pushing me away and you call yourself a romantic. You have a real life Romeo but you have no value for me."

"Romeo died." Jungkook deadpanned.

"Waah now you're killing me."

"Hyung you're not Romeo and I am not Juliet but if my appa finds you in my bedroom your ending will definitely be tragic. So please leave my dramatic boyfriend."

"Fineeeee I am going but don't think I am leaving because I am afraid of your father because I am not."

"Ok hyung I know you're brave. Now leave." Taehyung kissed him once again before leaving through the balcony.

"Are you ready son?" Mr. Park asked his nephew who was sweating and nervous.

 "I don't know. Do I really have to come. I mean i still have a year before I take over the company and even then I'll be working under you till I get a hang of everything so why do I have to attend this event? I am only a student. What if I make a fool of myself? What if..?

"Stop you're panicking. Tae, you're right you are not yet a CEO but that doesn't mean you don't know anything about our business. You've been helping me with the company for years now and trust me when I say you know everything there is to know about running a company even though you don't have any experience. This is a very prestigious event for our industry. Every entrepreneurs from every businesses will attend this event. This is where you meet new people and make connections. And I want you to meet our business partners and I want them to meet you as well since you'll be CEO the next time you see them. This is an opportunity for you to make a good impression."

"Waah now I am even more nervous. Great pep talk." Mr. Park laughed out loud.

"Really here I am shitting my pants and you're laughing."

"I knew letting you live with Jimin was a mistake. You're becoming dramatic like him. He is a bad influence on you"

"Waah I am telling this to Jimin. He needs to know what his father thinks about him."

"Go ahead what is he going to do disown me. You are forgetting that he can't even buy underwear without my money and besides he already knows what I think about him."

"Maybe he can't do anything but aunty can. So what do you say Mr. Park should I tell aunty that you're bullying me?" Taehyung asked smirking evily.

"Yaah why are you bringing her in between and when did I bully you? If anything I just bullied my son and he deserves it."

Taehyung was about to retort but the driver announced their arrival and they were out of the car getting ready to go in.

"You are ready for this son. I wouldn't have brought you here if I thought you weren't ready. Your parents will be proud of you. I know I am." Taehyung launched himself into his uncle's embrace. Both had tears in their eyes. No more words were needed so he followed his Uncle wordlessly.
