Taehyung ran inside the hospital as soon as he got out of the car. With every quickening pace of his feet, his heartbeat was also raising. His mind was blank, ever since he got that call. It was like everything around him was moving but he was frozen, his body was moving on autopilot. He was now standing outside the room Jungkook was in where doctors are examining him. He doesn't remember how he even came here. He could hear his friends voices but he cannot make out anything they were saying. 

"Tae, Tae please look at me tae. Jungkook is fine. He is safe. Are you listening tae?" Jimin asked crying and shaking Taehyung. Ever since Suga told Jin and Jimin everything that happened they have been crying nonstop. But Jimin is now more worried about his soulmate. Taehyung has been eerily quite the entire time. It's like he is looking at them but not really seeing them. 

"Suga, please do something. You are his bestfriend right. Then please do something Suga, I can't see him like this." Jimin said sobbing. Suga immediately hugged him. 

Everyone was crying seeing their friend like this. Nobody knew what to say. Jin was crying in Namjoon's arms while Suga was trying to calm Jimin down. They kept praying and hoping that their Kookie was going to be alright. Soon the door opened and a doctor stepped out gaining everyone's attention. 

"How is our friend doctor? Is he alright? What happened to him?" Namjoon asked one after the other. 

"Calm down young man, first tell me who you are. We can't just give out our patient information to anyone. What's your relationship with the patient?" The doctor asked. 

"Doctor he is our friend. We got a call from the hospital saying he is admitted here. Now can you please tell us how he is. You can see how worried everyone is." Namjoon said. 

"Your friend is completely fine. He has a concussion, but luckily there are no internal bleeding. Other than that he is absolutely fine. We have given him an injection, so he will sleep till morning We'll keep him here overnight just for observation. You should inform his family so they won't worry." The doctor said easing their worries. 

"Thank you so much doctor, thank you. We are really grateful. Can we see him now doctor?" Namjoon asked.

 "Not before you answer some of my questions." The doctor said confusing them. 

"You said that the hospital called you but that's not the case. We didn't call anyone. Now normally we would've informed the cops because that's the hospital procedure in cases like these, but the only reason I didn't is because he seemed to be completely fine." The doctor said. 

"What do you mean by cases like these doctor?" Namjoon asked not understanding anything. 

"Well we found him outside our emergency ward. Someone had left him there. He was unconscious and didn't had any ID on him. All he had in his pockets was his phone. And we aren't allowed to handle a patients personal items without his permission. And as I said he was unconscious when we found him, not really in a state to give permission to anything." The doctor answered. 

Everyone was shocked. Somebody just left him outside the hospital. They were beyond angry. How could someone do that to him. But then there was another question in all of their minds. If the hospital didn't call them then who did? 

"I don't know what to say other than thank you. And we don't know who called us. All I can say is that we got a call from his phone and the caller said he is calling from this hospital and our friend is admitted here." Namjoon said taking Taehyung's phone and showing the last call on his phone.

 "You can dial this number and see for yourself if it is from our friends phone if you don't believe us." Namjoon said trying to convince the doctor to let them see Kookie. The doctor looked at Namjoon for few seconds before speaking again. 

"You know I have to ask these questions. My patients are my first priority so I was just making sure that you guys are really who you say you are and I believe you, so you can see him, but make sure not to disturb him. He needs rest and only one person is allowed to stay with him, rest of you will have to leave. And also please give all the details of the patient, his name, age, ID everything at the reception, since we couldn't find any identification on him. We still need his Id for formal verifications. So please see to it." The doctor said explaining what needs to be done. 

"Thank you doctor and yes we'll provide everything you asked." Namjoon said hugging the doctor. They were all relieved even though they had a million questions running through their mind, but right now none of that mattered. All that mattered right now was Kookie and seeing to his safety.

Taehyung had been staring at the door ever since the doctor came out. He heard everything the doctor was saying about Kookie even though his eyes was glued to the door. His blood boiled when the doctor talked about how they found him. Someone just left him outside unconscious. He swore he won't leave any of them. They made a big mistake hurting someone close to his heart and they'll pay for it. He'll make sure of it. All he wanted was to run through that door and hug Kookie tightly and never let go. He needs to see him with his own eyes to believe and all this talking back and forth is starting to irritate him. The only thing that is keeping him from just barging inside is the hand that is holding him tightly. So when the doctor said they can see him, he immediately ran inside.

Jungkook was lying on the hospital bed with wires attached to his body to monitor his heart and pulse rates. But other than that he looked peaceful. There wasn't a blemish on his beautiful face and he still looked ethereal like a sleeping beauty. Taehyung checked him from head to toe to see if he was hurt anywhere and only then he felt relieved. He caressed his face gently afraid of hurting him muttering thousand sorrys. Everyone just watched quietly not making a sound. After a while Namjoon gestured them to come outside. Everyone went out of the room leaving Taehyung inside. 

"Guys you heard what the doctor said, only one of us can stay with Kookie and I am pretty sure it will be Taehyung who stays with him, meanwhile we need to provide all the details and his ID at the reception." Namjoon said as soon as they came outside. 

"Jungkook's bag is at our place, since he came with us. I am sure his id will be in it too" Jimin said. 

"Alright then, I'll go with Jimin to get it, besides Jimin also needs to rest his feet. Jin you stay with Jimin tonight. I don't want any of you to be alone tonight." Namjoon said. Everyone just nodded. Jin and Jimin didn't wanted to leave but they eventually agreed and left with Namjoon while Suga and Hobi stayed behind.

Taehyung didn't let go of Jungkook's hand. He kept staring at his face. He slowly climbed into the bed making sure not to disturb Jungkook at all. He made space for himself in the bed and hugged Jungkook's waist. "I remember you can't sleep without hugging something. Now you can sleep properly." Taehyung whispered before placing a peck on his forehead and slowly closing his eyes. Soon fatigue took over him and he went to dreamland holding Jungkook in his arms.

Jungkook opened his eyes to a bright light hitting his face. He squinted his eyes trying to adjust to the brightness. His head was hurting like hell and his mouth felt like cotton. He turned slightly only to come face to face with Taehyung. Only then he realized that Taehyung was actually hugging him and they were in a bed together. But this bed feels smaller and harder than the ones in Taehyung's room. He doesn't remember getting home or getting in bed and why the hell does his head hurt so much. Jungkook tried to think back to what happened but it just made his head hurt badly and he groaned in pain. Taehyung immediately woke up hearing Jungkook's voice.

 "Bun, are you okay bun. Does it hurt anywhere? Are you in any pain? Do you need something? What can I get you?" Taehyung asked one after the other making Jungkook softly smile at him. 

"Hyungie you are asking too many questions. My head hurts so much hyung, why does it hurt so much?" Kookie said wincing at the pain. Taehyung immediately pressed the button near the bed to call for the nurse. 

"Don't worry bunny, help is coming alright. Your pain will go in no time." Taehyung said hugging him close. Soon enough the nurse came inside and Taehyung told her what Jungkook said. She gave the painkillers in Taehyung's hand and told him to first give him something to eat or drink before giving the tablets. Taehyung thanked her and she left the room after checking the monitors. Jungkook immediately looked at Taehyung before asked him 

"Why am I in the hospital hyung? What happened to me?" Taehyung didn't know what to tell him.

 "Nothing happened to you my bunny, you are completely fine. Wait I'll get something for you to eat, then you can take the medicine for your headache." Taehyung said quickly before walking out not letting Jungkook speak. 

Taehyung came out of the room closing the door behind, he paused by the door for a while before walking away. Jungkook was confused. He could clearly see that his hyung was not telling him the truth. No one gets admitted in the hospital for no reason. He tries to think back to previous night. He remembers getting ready for the party, arriving at the party and being overwhelmed by everything, he also remembers having a good time with his hyungs. His head was hurting a lot but he just endured it. He remembers standing on the dance floor, "Wait how did I get on the dance floor?" he thought. 

He then remembered what happened, yes Jimin hyung was injured, so they all came down to check on him, he remembers the concern he felt for his hyung, being worried for him, then he remembers talking to someone, Wait not someone it was Minjae. Yes he remembers talking to Minjae and following him out of the club to an alleyway, and that's when his eyes widened. He remember Minjae proposing him and how he felt at the time. He remembered how he rejected him and how Minjae's face fell at his rejection. And that's where his memories end, after that all he remembers is waking up in the bed he was in with Taehyung holding him in his arms. "What happened after i rejected Minjae?" 

His thoughts were interrupted however when Taehyung walked in carrying a bag which he assumed was food. Taehyung placed the bag on the bedside table and helped Jungkook to a sitting position. He then removed a box containing food into it and a juice box. He gave the juice in Jungkook's hand and opened the food box while Jungkook kept sipping on his juice. Taehyung then fed him some food with great difficulty because Jungkook was being difficult. 

"Hyungie enough now, I can't eat anymore, please Hyungie." Jungkook whined with a pout. If this was any other time Taehyung would've easily given in seeing his pout but not now.

 "Bunny that won't work, you need to eat if you want to take medicine. So finish it fast." Taehyung said in a stern voice. Jungkook just pouted before opening his mouth again for Taehyung to feed him. Once he was done Taehyung gave him the medicine and it was another war just to get him to take the tablet which Taehyung won obviously. 

"You are mean Hyungie, I am not talking to you again. "Jungkook just pouted angrily while Taehyung looked at him with soft eyes.

"Hyung, will you tell me now what happened to me? And please don't say nothing happened. If nothing happened then why am I in the hospital hyung?" Jungkook asked after sometime.

 Taehyung thought for sometime before answering. He held Jungkook's hand before telling him everything that happened, from how they found that he was missing and how they searched for him and how they found Minjae unconscious on the ground and about what Minjae told them to finally getting the call which said Jungkook was admitted in the hospital. By the time Taehyung finished Jungkook was in tears, he couldn't believe so much had happened to him. 

"I am so sorry bunny, I couldn't protect you. I promised you that I'll always protect you and I failed at it, I am so sorry bunny." Taehyung kept repeating with tears in his eyes. Jungkook's heart ached seeing his hyung in this condition. 

"Why are you saying sorry hyung? I should be the one apologizing to you. You told me not to leave your side but I didn't listen. If I had listened to you then none of this would've happened." Jungkook said crying. 

Taehyung immediately hugged him and let out all the tears he had been holding in since yesterday. They kept crying in each other's arms. It wasn't long before the medicine took its affect and Jungkook fell asleep in Taehyung's arms. Taehyung slowly placed him on the bed and covered him with the blanket. He waited for some more time before placing a kiss on his forehead and leaving the room to place a call. Taehyung waited for his call to get answered. 

"We need to talk. Let's meet." Taehyung said as soon as the call was answered. He talked for some more time before disconnecting the call and going back inside.
