Taehyung was furious. He wanted to punch something. He promised Jungkook that he'll always protect him, but here he is not even a day later breaking his promise. 

"Let's check the cctv footage, there's no point wasting time searching for him in this sea of people." Suga said grabbing their attention. Everyone just nodded. Suga immediately walked towards the security room with the others following him. 

"Show us the cctv footage of the dance floor from 30 minutes ago." Suga said to the security guard manning the computer station. The guard immediately went to work showing several footages of the dance from different angles. 

They could clearly see Jungkook standing with them when they were taking care of Jimin. After forwarding the footage they saw a guy approaching Jungkook. The guys watched intently as they saw the unknown guy talking to Jungkook. They kept talking for sometime before Jungkook turned back. It looked like he was contemplating something. They saw themselves walking away from the dance floor with Suga carrying Jimin. But Jungkook didn't follow them, but instead he turned around and followed the unknown guy.

 Soon they were out of the dance floor and away from the eyes of the camera. Taehyung was watching everything with a stony expression. He desperately wants to know what that guy said to Jungkook to make him follow him out. Taehyung heard Suga giving instructions to the guard to check the other cameras. As they watched the other cameras in the club, they saw Jungkook towards the back where the toilets are. There were no other cameras towards the back side, so they couldn't see where they went after that. 

"Come on guys, let's go there and check it out. Maybe he went to the toilet." Namjoon said. They all immediately ran towards the back of the club where the toilets were situated. They went inside the toilet banging on each stall calling out Jungkook's name, but there was no one inside the toilets. 

"What now, he is not here. He couldn't have just vanished into thin air." Hobi said exasperated. Taehyung was on the verge of tears, he was holding in his emotions ever since they found out that Jungkook wasn't with them. All kinds of thoughts were running through his mind, and he doesn't know what he's gonna do if any of them comes true. 

"We are standing at the only place they could've gone, we saw them going towards the back in the cameras. And the toilets are the only place in the back." Namjoon said bringing Taehyung out of his thoughts. 

"This isn't the only place in the back, there is also a backdoor which leads outside the club but it's supposed to be locked." Suga said thinking out loud. 

"Well then what are you waiting for, lead the way." Hobi said urgently. They went towards the small corridor beside the toilets where the backdoor was. 

"What the hell, this door is supposed to be locked, why the hell is this open." Suga yelled angrily. 

"It looks like someone broke the lock." Namjoon said checking the lock. They opened the door and ran outside. There wasn't a single person in their sight and it was dark out there. 

"What now Suga, there is nobody here. Why will Jungkook even come here in the first place?" Taehyung asked almost in tears. 

"Calm down Tae, we'll find him. Did anyone try his phone?" Suga asked. 

"I did several times when we were inside. It says switched off." Namjoon said in worry. Now they were 100% sure that there was something wrong. Jungkook was missing, and his phone was switched off. This just can't be a coincidence. They were thinking about what to do next when Hobi spotted something. 

"Guys look there, is that what I think it is?" Hobi said pointing to a silhouette on the ground. They all looked where Hobi was pointing and sure enough they could see someone lying on the ground but there wasn't enough light to see who it was. Taehyung was shivering thinking what if it's Kookie. Everyone was thinking the same thing. Suga decided to go see for himself instead of imagining the worst. He went closer to the person and showed his phone light on his face.

 "Guys get over here. It's not Jungkook." Suga called the others. The others immediately went towards Suga. Suga showed them the guys face. 

"Wait, isn't that the guy with Jungkook? Why is he unconscious?" Hobi asked.

 "Hobi, get water from inside. We need to wake him up for answers." Suga said. Hobi immediately ran inside to get water while the others kept trying to wake him up. 

"Here you go." Hobi said handing the water bottle to Suga. Suga splashed water on his face while everyone waited patiently. Soon enough the guy started moving and slowly opened his eyes. As soon as he came to his senses Taehyung was on him like thunder. 

"Where is Jungkook you asshole? What did you do to him?" Taehyung yelled holding the guys collar.

"Taehyung, leave him, let him talk." Namjoon said separating the guy from Taehyung's hold. Suga gave him water and he drank every single drop.

"Now start talking. And don't even try to lie. We already know Jungkook was with you. So you better tell the truth. You know who we are and what we can do right." Namjoon said being intimidating. The guy took a deep breath before talking.

 "My name is Park Minjae and I am Jungkook's classmate also his friend." Minjae said to the 4 guys surrounding him. 

"Jungkook doesn't have any friends other than us." Taehyung said not trusting the guy one bit. 

"Well, we are classmates and seat mates and is friendly to each other. So that makes us friends." Minjae said being defensive. 

"That still doesn't answer our question. Where is Jungkook and why did you bring him to this alley?" Namjoon asked once again. Minjae began telling them everything. He told them all about his crush and his conversations with Jungkook inside the club. He also told them about his proposal and Jungkook's rejection. He didn't tell them anything about Jenny though. Instead he told them what Jenny asked him to tell. Taehyung was gritting his teeth when he was listening to Minjae talk. 

"So you are telling me that two guys kidnapped Jungkook and left you all alone. Why would they let you go and take only Jungkook with them if this was just a random kidnapping. And that too it happened at the exact time you decided to lure Jungkook to this alley for a fucking proposal. Isn't that too much of a coincidence?" Namjoon asked glaring at Minjae. 

"I don't know how to make you guys believe me, but that's exactly what happened. I tried to stop them, but they hit me on the head. And the next thing I remember is waking up and seeing you guys in front of me. I really like Jungkook and I wouldn't do anything to hurt him." Minjae said trying to sound sincere. 

"Listen here you fucker, if we find out that you were lying, then you better pray for your death because your punishment will be worse than death. You have no idea who you are going against. For now, you just pray to God that we find Jungkook and that he is safe. If we find even a single scratch on him, I'll make sure to make you feel that 10 times more." Taehyung said choking him. Minjae was struggling in Taehyung's hold. He could see the rage in Taehyung's eyes and it made him shiver. 

"Let him go Tae, we don't have time for this. Right now our priority is Jungkook. Now that we know he was kidnapped, we need to find him ASAP. For now, let's just hand him over to our security while we find Jungkook. If he's telling the truth, we'll let him go, if not then..." Suga said looking at Minjae. Taehyung let him go immediately and fell to his knees. Namjoon had already called for their guards. 

"Take him to the security room and keep an eye on him." Namjoon told the guards. The guards immediately took Minjae with them leaving the boys alone.

"What are we supposed to do now, Joon. How are we going to search for him. We can't even track his phone because it's switched off. I promised him that I'll always protect him. And I failed Joon, I failed to protect him." Taehyung said crying his heart out. 

Everyone's heart ached seeing their friend like this. They've never seen Taehyung breaking down like this. They realized that Jungkook means more to Tae than just a friend, because if it was any of them who were in danger, Taehyung would've already jumped into action. He wouldn't be breaking down like this. Jungkook has become Taehyung's weakness and his vulnerability. The guys just looked at each other not knowing what to say at the moment. 

"Tae, you need to get it together. You can't be breaking down like this. Kookie needs you right now. We'll find him Tae. Are you forgetting who we are." Suga said trying to calm Taehyung down.

 "Yes Tae, Suga is right please don't take tension, all of us come from very powerful families with lots of connections. If we can't do something then no one can." Hobi said giving Taehyung hope. 

"Let me call and inform Jin. It's been a while since we left them inside. They must be worried sick." Suga said taking out his phone. 

Taehyung couldn't get his mind to work. All he kept thinking about was Jungkook, his bunny smile, his cute little pout, his big bambi eyes that shows his every emotions, his childlike innocence, Taehyung couldn't stop thinking. "Please be safe bunny, and please wait for me. Your hyungie will definitely come for you." Taehyung thought in his mind while the rest of them were busy with their phones trying to contact anyone whom they think could help. 

They were all busy with trying to come up with a solution that they flinched when the heard a phone ring suddenly. They all looked at their phones to see if it is ringing. Taehyung too took out his phone with trembling hands before looking at the caller ID. He froze when he saw the name of the caller. 

"It's k..Kookie." Taehyung said stuttering.

 "Pick it up and put the call on speaker." Namjoon said hurriedly. Taehyung pressed answer and put it on speaker. 

"Hello K...Ko...Kookie." Taehyung said with tears in his eyes. Everyone waited with bated breath but what they heard took their breath away. 

"Hello Sir, we are calling from Seoul National Hospital. The owner of this phone is admitted here and yours were the last dialled number on his phone. If you know this person please come to the hospital as soon as you can." A male voice said before disconnecting the phone. The phone fell from Taehyung's hands. He was about to collapse when Namjoon held him. 

"We need to go to the hospital guys. Let's not waste time. Me and Joon will take Taehyung with us. Suga, you bring Jin and Jimin with you." Hobi said while fishing for his keys. They ran towards their car while Suga went to get the others.

"The job is done maam". A man said into his phone. "We did exactly as you said. We dropped him outside the hospital emergency and switched on his phone and dialed the number you said. We told him what you said and disconnected the phone." The man said. 

"Good job. You can check your bank account. Your reward will be waiting for you.". Jenny said smirking. "Tsk tsk tsk, poor Jungkook, you should've listened to me when I told you to stay away from Taehyung. But you chose to ignore my warning. If only you had listened."
