Jungkook kept looking here and there with his doe eyes trying to take in everything. They were all gathered at Taehyung's place to discuss about the party. But a certain bunny was more excited to check out everything than talking about the party. " Hyung, your home is really beautiful. Do you live alone hyung?" Jungkook asked. "Thanks Kookie, but I don't live alone, I share this apartment with Jimin." Taehyung answered.

 "Then what about yours and Jimin hyungs parents hyung." Jungkook asked again. As soon as Jungkook mentioned parents Taehyung became quite. Jungkook noticed this. "Did I say something wrong hyung? I am sorry if I made you upset." Jungkook said feeling guilty. "No Kookie you didn't make me upset and to answer your question I don't have parents. They died when I was 10 years old and about Jimin's parents they are very much alive but Jimin lives with me since we are cousins as well as best friends. So when I decided to move out of Jimin's parents home when I turned 18, he came with me." Taehyung explained.

Jungkook felt sad hearing about Taehyung's parents. He knows the pain of losing a parent and Taehyung lost both his parents. "I am sorry hyung, I shouldn't have asked that. Now I made you all sad." Jungkook pouted sadly. "You didn't make me sad Jungkook, promise and besides it was a long time ago, so no need to feel bad alright." Taehyung said trying to cheer him up. Jungkook was still not convinced, he kept pouting but then he remembered something and immediately brightened up.

 "Oh wait, I have something for everyone." He said getting up and running to get his bag. He sat on the floor with his bag and took out a box. Everyone was waiting to see what's in the box when Jungkook opened it to reveal brownies. "Brownies." Everyone squeeled in happiness. "I wanted to give this at lunch time but I forgot about it. But it doesn't matter I can just give it to you now." Jungkook said offering the brownies to Taehyung. "Waah Kookie, only for Taehyung huh, and what about us?" Jin said showing fake anger. "Are you jealous Jin that Kookie likes me more than all of you."Taehyung said with a smirk. Jungkook blushed hearing that. 

"No no hyung I bought it for all of you, but Taehyungie hyung was sad that's why I gave him first because chocolate always makes me happy whenever I am sad, so it will make Taehyungie hyung happy too." Jungkook said feeling shy. Everyone just awed. Taehyung felt butterflies in his stomach when Kookie said that. He took a bite of the brownies and moaned at its taste. "Woh, Kookie these are so good. I can eat the whole box. Please make more next time Kookie." Taehyung said stuffing his face with brownies. Jungkook felt happy hearing that from Taehyung. He made a mental note to make more for him in the future.

 "Yaah yaah, don't hog the entire thing. Give it to us too." Suga said grabbing on to the box. "Everyone stop fighting and gather around. Let's not forget why we are here." Namjoon said grabbing everyone's attention. Soon enough they were all settled on the couches and on the floor. "So, how are we going to pull this off?" Jin asked munching on brownies. "Well we already have the venue decided, thanks to Taehyung's big mouth." Joon said while Taehyung pouted. "And since it's a fresher's party and everyone is underage so any kind of alcohol is out. Maybe we can opt for mocktails and fruit punch instead. Suga can handle that, right suga?" Namjoon asked Suga. Suga just gave a thumbs up since his mouth was busy munching on the delicious brownies.

 "And Jin can get one of his restaurants to cater the party. What do you say babe?" Namjoon then asked his boyfriend. Jin nodded agreeing to it. "Ok so food and drinks are sorted, now what's left is music. And again Suga can take care of it since you DJs there every Friday as it is." Everyone just nodded. "We need some security guards too, so that no one tries anything funny like what happened at Hobi's party." Taehyung spoke up. "Well, the Trance already has bouncers but we can arrange for some more just to be on the safe side. I can take care of that." Namjoon said. 

"Wait that's it?" Hobi asked being bewildered. "Yeah pretty much, what else is there. Namjoon questioned. "Seriously you guys. You couldn't have done this in the college. I thought it'd take a couple of hours minimum and you finished it in barely 5 minutes. Like what the hell dude?" Hobi asked feeling incredulous. "Would you rather we spend hours on it?" Jin asked feeling annoyed. "So what are we gonna do now since the purpose for our meeting is already over?" Hobi asked. "We could play some games or watch a movie before we have dinner." Jimin said. "But I didn't do anything. I wanted to help you. Give me also something to do hyung." Jungkook said feeling bad that his hyungs are doing so much for him while he just sit and watch. 

"Aww kookie, don't feel bad, and besides Taehyung, Jimin and Hobi are not doing anything too." Jin said being playful. "HEY" Taehyung, Jimin and Hobi shouted at the same time. "Don't worry about it Kookie and we are not going out of our way or anything. Jin has his restaurants and Suga owns the club we are throwing the party at and he DJs there every Friday as it is, so you see we are really not doing anything. And besides you can consider this as our gift to you for these amazing brownies and for being our friend." Namjoon explained. "Thank you hyungs, I really don't know what to say." Jungkook said feeling happy. "Well there is something that you can do for us." Taehyung said looking at Jungkook. "What is it hyung. Please tell me.?" Jungkook asked. "Well you can make us more brownies if you want." Taehyung said sheepishly. "Aish hyung I would have done that regardless." Jungkook answered in all honesty.

"So how about we watch a movie or something now. Jungkook is it ok for you to stay for dinner or do you need to be home?" Jimin asked. "I can stay for dinner hyung." Jungkook answered. "Ok then what do you think we should watch, we have comedy, action, romance and horror." Jimin asked looking the selection of CDs. Everyone started shouting out their choices. "STOP" Taehyung yelled to grab their attention. "Why don't we let Kookie pick, since it's his first time hanging out with us." Taehyung said. Everyone looked at each other and nodded their heads. 

Jungkook was nervous. He liked romance and comedy. But he hated action and horror. But everyone here seemed to like either action or horror. "Uhmm, I don't know hyung. I am fine with anything." Jungkook said instead. "Ok how about this, we make chits of movie genre and Kookie can pick one." Jimin offered. "That's a good idea, why didn't I think of that?" Namjoon asked scratching his neck. "Because your brain only works on complicated things." Suga said. "Ok Kookie, pick one chit.' Jimin said showing 4 colored papers in his palms. Jungkook hesitantly forwarded his hand and picked one chit and opened it with shaky hands. And to his horror it was horror, pun intended. 

Jungkook was cursing himself in his mind. If only he had chosen a genre when they asked him to he wouldn't be in this predicament. There was nothing he could do now other than watch the move. What was he supposed to do tell them that he wad terrified of horror movies and spoil everyone's fun, yeah that's not gonna happen. "Come on Jungkook, you can do it. You are not alone. You are watching it with your friends so there's nothing to be scared of." Jungkook encouraged himself in his mind. 

Everyone settled down to watch movies. Jin and Namjoon cuddled together on the love seats while Suga laid down comfortably on the recliner. Jimin sat on his right with Hobi settled on the left corner. That left Taehyung and Jungkook together on the couch. Taehyung dimmed the lights making the atmosphere more eery. The movie started and Jungkook could feel the fear creeping in slowly. He inched himself closer to Taehyung unconsciously. Taehyung who was engrossed in the movie didn't notice Jungkook at first. But when he felt a hand brush against his knee he turned to his side only to see Jungkook sitting close to him covering both his eyes with his sweater paws. 

Taehyung understood that Jungkook was scared. So he scooted closer to him and without a second thought put his arms around him. Jungkook flinched at the sudden touch but when he realized it was Taehyung he relaxed. He leaned more into Taehyung leaving absolutely no gaps. Jungkook didn't open his eyes at all. He kept it covered but he could still hear and everytime something scary happens the music in the movie gets scarier and he could hear Jimin and JHope screaming every now and then making him even more scared. By now Jungkook was literally on Taehyung's lap. "Kookie look at me bun" Taehyung said softly only for Jungkook to hear. Jungkook looked up at Taehyung with his Bambi eyes. Taehyung almost cooed out loud. 

"Are you scared bunny?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook just nodded meekly. "Do you wanna get out of here." Jungkook again just nodded. "Ok then come let's go." Taehyung said getting up and grabbing Jungkook's hand. He looked at others saying he is going out and will be back before dinner. Everyone just hummed since they were engrossed in the movie. Taehyung immediately grabbed Jungkook's hand and left from there.

"Where are we going hyung?" Jungkook asked Taehyung once they came out. "We'll just go to the park and walk around." Taehyung said. "I am sorry hyung because of me you didn't get to watch the movie." Jungkook said feeling guilty. "Look at me Kookie." Taehyung said in a stern voice. "Stop saying sorry and thanks for every little thing. I think you still consider me a stranger and not a friend." Taehyung said. Jungkook immediately shook his head. "No no hyung please don't say that. You are not a stranger hyung. You are my friend, I am sorry If I made you feel otherwise." Jungkook said afraid that he made his hyung mad. "Again sorry." Taehyung questioned. "Oops sorry." Jungkook said again before covering his mouth with his hands. "Let's just go to the park" Taehyung said holding his hand.

They kept walking holding each other's hand and with a smile on their faces. Neither wanted to let go. It just felt right to both of them. No words were required. They walked in a comfortable silence and with just each other's company. And that was enough.
