《》Chapter Thirteen

Kakashi was all but ignoring Shisui making me hold back an aggravated sigh as I settled between my two teammates. This wasn't going to end well if Kakashi couldn't be a team player and from the droll looks both Ōkami and Tenshi were giving me, well it seemed my canine partners noticed it as well.
I had hope of this team coming together and actually becoming something great, and not cursed like all Team Seven seemed to be. Only if Kakashi would just play nice.
Though maybe it would just take time since we'd have to learn to trust one another.
"So," began Shisui under his breath as he looked toward me while shoving a messy onyx curl from his face. "What did I do to piss off Hatake?"
"Nothing," I answered with a shake of my head before giving said Hatake a look that had him sighing and turning to face us. "Isn't that right Kakashi?"
"I had believed we would have been taken on as apprentices," answered Kakashi causing Shisui to perk up. "But now instead of that we're a full Genin team. I don't have a personal opinion on you Uchiha."
With his light grey hair he almost pulled off Tobirama perfectly causing a shudder of fear to fill me at that realization. That man hadn't been someone who should be taken lightly, especially considering his own hatred of Uchiha had been passed down to one of his students who ended up helping to wipe out the Uchiha Clan in my time.
Danzo was another person I wanted nothing to do with.
"Do either of you know what type we would fall under as a team?" I wondered making both boys look away from the glaring contest they started to focus on me.

"Likely tracking," answered Kakashi after giving it a moment of thought. "Especially considering what we have been taught so far."
"How about we tell the other what our strength is and biggest weakness," added Shisui smiling brightly and slightly cheeky toward Kakashi who growled. "It could really help our teamwork and all."
They were almost worse than Sasuke and Naruto. That was saying something considering just what had happened between Naruto and Sasuke that day at the Valley of the End. It also worried me since I refused to be like Sakura who had played favorites.
If they couldn't get along, then I would be forced to get involved and make them realize how stupid they were being. There would be no favorite playing in this team.
We were in this together.
"First off," I began with a sweet smile while reaching out to twist one of their ears each making both boys yelp. "We aren't going to get anywhere as a team or even get to become actual Genin if we cannot get along and work well together."
To make sure they realized this, I would have to be upfront about it all.
"Secondly, that's a good idea to start with. As such I will go first in saying my top strength would have to be fuinjutsu and tracking while at the moment kenjutsu is my weakest."
"That's still really cool," praised Shisui with a wince as I released their ears allowing both to rub at the slightly red tips. "I'm great in taijutsu and ninjutsu, more so that of shunshining, are my strong points leaving fine chakra control and tracking as my weakest."
Which is surprising considering how much effort he had put into mastering shunshining.
"Tracking and kenjutsu," grumbled Kakashi as I gave him another look of warning. "My chakra reserves aren't the largest being about a bit higher than normal for our age, meaning ninjutsu isn't my strong point right now on top of taijutsu."

In the future Kakashi was basically a well rounded shinobi. Even a prodigy considering the jutsu he creates that works even better once he gained a Sharingan. But this pulled me up short since I had hope of keeping that from happening.
Did that mean I would keep Kakashi from completing and using his creation?
"Then how about we each focus on certain things until we reach Chūnin," began Shisui making us focus on him. "Or we can all try to work to be well rounded since that's what we need to be to gain the rank of Jōnin."
"Being able to cover as many weaknesses as possible would be best along with working with the thought of eventually being Jōnin is smart as well," I answered with some thought considering each of us had a larger than average chakra reserves.
It also didn't escape my notice that we each at one point had been labeled as prodigies.
"But for now we need to make sure we come up with a few plans for whatever our future sensei has planned for us to become actual Genin."
"You're both aware of the second test then," mused Shisui with a smirk before offering his hand to Kakashi with a raised eyebrow. "Teammates?"
"Teammates," agreed Kakashi with only a millisecond of hesitation before accepting the others hand in his.
We were finally getting somewhere.
"Team Seven," called out Minato from the doorway making us turn to face him before gaining to our feet. "Follow me."
None of us hesitated to follow his order.
A part of me felt excited to fully learn under Minato's command considering how amazing he had been as a shinobi, and even more so as a Hokage, holding the youngest position for the rank until Gaara.
Before I realized it we were settling on the ground in Training Ground Seven before Minato.
"We will state our names, likes, and dislikes along with goals. I will go first, my name is Namikaze Minato. I like ramen, fuinjutsu, my Summoning Contract with the toads, and my friends and family along with my village. I don't really have any dislikes and my goal is to become Hokage along with helping you three reach your own goals."
"My name is Inuzuka Asahi," I continued when his eyes met mine causing me to give the older teen a bright smile. "I love fuinjutsu, my sister and family, Kakashi and Sakumo, and my friends along with fruit"
This was a bit different to when I had first gave my introductions at Sakumo-sensei's.
"I dislike people who abandon their family. My goal is to become a top Elite Jōnin along with gaining a powerful Summoning Contract."
My final goal is to complete Naruto's goal of ending the cycle of hatred.
"That isn't a bad goal to have," praised Minato before focusing onto Kakashi who sent the other man a dry look. "Kakashi?"
"Hatake Kakashi," muttered Kakashi before sending a small look toward Shisui before thrown an arm around my shoulders. "I like Asahi, my father, and my summoning dogs. I dislike loud annoying people. My goal is to become a top Jōnin with Asahi."
Well then.
