《Desolate (Klaus Mikaelson)》Werewolf

I twiddle with my fingers nervously, wondering whether to remind Elijah about my... problem.
"Elijah," I call out, wondering whereabouts in the house he is.
"Yes, sweet Evie," He says, vamp speeding in front of me. That's one of the reasons that I have come to love Elijah, he treats me like I'm his family, he tends to my every need, he listens to what I say. In the short amount of time that I have known him, he has quickly become my rock.
"I need to go to the old Lockwood dungeons tomorrow..." I pause, before continuing," For the full moon." I sigh.
He observes me carefully for a few seconds, before asking, "Would you like me to come with you?" I shake my head, "No,no it's alright, trust me, you don't want to see that." He nods his head...

We sit in Elijah's rover, a comfortable silence infiltrating the small space that we are seated in. He pulls over on the outskirts of the forest.
"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" He asks me, smiling gently at me.
I nod my head," Yes, I'm sure Elijah, anyway, what are you going to do today?" I ask, curiously.
He smiles. "Just going to get to know the town folk, help with the historical society with Jenna Sommers."He says, a small smiling still resting on his face.
I smile back at him, "Elena's aunt?" I ask, to which he nods.
"I'll call you to come to pick me up tomorrow, bye," I say, opening the door and hopping out. Quickly, I jog around to the boot of the rover and collect my spare change of clothes, a huge bag of chains and a bottle of wolfs-bane mixed in with water.
I watch as he drives off, before turning around to face the forest, beginning y hike to the dungeons...

I walk down the dirty steps, careful not to trip or drop anything in doing so. Once I reach the bottom, I can hear voices coming from inside.
"Tell me you brought the instruction manual"I hear the familiar voice of Caroline Forbes.

"Tell me you brought the wolfs-bane" Tyler replies.
"Yes. Not an easy herb to find. This is it."
"Tell me why in the hell the two of you need wolf repellent and chains." I but in, rounding the corridor. Tyler drops the bag of chains on the floor, his mouth hanging open at the sound of my voice.
"Evie?" He asks.
"Yes, Ty-" I begin before I'm cut off by his huge muscly arms, enveloping me in a warm bear hug.
"I've missed you so much, I was worried sick, so is Mum, where have you been?."He asks, talking so quickly that I barely catch any of it.
"Woah, Woah, Woah, slow down, I've been with Elijah,"I state, kissing his cheek. He looks at me confused for a moment before shaking it off.
"Now, you didn't answer my question, what's with the wolf repellent and chains," I ask. Tyler stares at me for a second, clearly debating whether or not to tell me before his eyes land on the bag of chains and wolfs-bane that I am also carrying.
"Are you a-" He starts before I cut him off.
"Werewolf? yeah, are you?" He nods, I know that later I will receive a huge rant from him because I didn't tell him but I can easily tell that he is too nervous to give me that rant at the moment.
Caroline gives him the wolfs-bane, smiling brightly at me. When he touches it, his skin burns, and he yelps and draws in his breath.
"I have a water bottle in my bag, you can mix it in there," I say, knowing from experience that it doesn't burn as much when it's mixed with water.
I hand the water to Caroline and she mixes the wolfs-bane in the water
"The guy at the hardware store said this set-up could hold up to 5,000 pounds," Tyler says informatively.
"Is that more than a werewolf can pull?" Caroline asks and they both look at me.
"I don't know," I say, waving my arms around me like a 6-year-old.
Me and Tyler both get started on tieing ourselves to the wall, pulling the chains as tight as they will go.

"Hey Tyler, how are you doing? " Caroline asks, concerned.
" Still human." He replies.
"Hey, Evie- how are you doing?" I ask, sarcastically as Caroline sticks her tongue out at me.
"Oh my god, you're not gonna get naked, are you?" Caroline asks him, I merely shrug my shoulders, I've seen him nude plenty of times, after all, we are twins.
" It's elastic. What should I wear? I don't think it's like The Hulk, where I get to keep my pants"
Caroline blushes and looks away.
"Technically," I start, "We would be wolverine."
I must be the only werewolf that doesn't view this as a curse, I embrace it, it makes me feel strong and powerful. It's a part of me...

A bright full moon can be seen in the sky. Tyler is shirtless, and he has chains wrapped around each wrist and ankle, as well as a chain looped around his neck, all attached to the walls of the underground cave. While my chains are matching him, I wear a Nike sports bra and sweats.
"What time is it? " Tyler asks as I continue to sing 500 bottles, I'm currently on 331.
"Almost eight. What time does the moon crest or whatever?" Caroline asks.
"Not for a while. Mason said the first transformation can happen before the moon hits its apex." I respond, knowing more about werewolves than either of them.
"Did he say how long you'll actually be a wolf?" She asks me, a worried look drowning the rest of her features.
"A few hours. Maybe more, maybe less" I reply, as my temperature starts to increase.
He tries to sit down next to her but he can't because of the chains. He takes the bottle with the wolfs-bane.
"Are you sure you want to do that?" Caroline says, while I down mine, gagging at the familiar burning.
"Yeah. Mason said it'll diminish my strength so I can't break free" Tyler says, scrunching his face up in disgust as he brings the bottle closer and closer to his mouth, gagging as the taste touches his lips.

" I want to help but I don't know what to do" Caroline says as I begin to hyperventilate.
"There's nothing you can do," Tyler says, breathing heavily.
He gets up. His bones and his spine are breaking and he screams out in immense pain. Caroline starts to cry.
"Get out!" Tyler yells, crying.
"No!" Caroline cries, raising her voice.
"Get out Caroline, he doesn't want to hurt you!" I yell back forcefully.
"No,no" She cries, trying to embrace him.

"I'm right here, and I'm not going anywhere, " I say comfortingly to Tyler as my eyes turn amber.
Suddenly he screams. His bones continue breaking. His eyes are yellow and his fangs are out. Caroline leaves him, terrified. He gets up and looks everywhere around him. She closes the gate. Tyler rushes over to her. He removes one of his chains. She leaves as she sobs. Tyler screams. Caroline is still behind the door. She's crying. Tyler's transformation is over. He's a wolf. Caroline gets up when she doesn't hear anything, but suddenly Tyler tries to break the door. She knows the door won't hold so she props a wooden plank against it and vamp-runs into the woods, still crying. "Tyler, Ty it's alright," I say as my spine breaks.

I rest my head on Tyler's torso, my body covered by nothing but a blanket as I breathe heavily.
"Tyler?"Caroline questions.
"Caroline, "He says,
"Tyler!"She rushes over, placing a jacket over him, ignoring me completely.
"I miss Elijah already," I mutter quietly as I pull on my spare change of clothes.
"You're okay. You made it. You didn't get out. You're okay."
Tyler starts crying, he pulls me down to the floor, burying his head in my neck. That's the one thing me and Ty do whenever one of us is upset, we bury our head into the other twin's neck. I wrap my arms around him as we both ignore Caroline.
"It's going to be fine Ty," I say, running my fingers through his hair, placing a kiss on his cheek.
"It's going to be fine."
